The scene opens on the beautiful city of Memphis. The stars twinkled high above the city, while the moon cast it's glow to the snow covered earth below. The city was full of life once more, and the streets were filled with cars heading home, or heading out for the night. Country and blues music filled the air, and a cold wind blew in from the water and into the city. The night life was active and a few people ventured out into the night to find a little bit of excitement. The camera soon moves through the city with the bright lights shinning brightly against the night and focused on the Peabody Hotel. The interior was done in polished hard wood, and deep red carpets. The brass was polished brightly and glistened in the bright lights of the lobby. People moved about heading this way and that with the front desk staff taking phone calls and the bar off to the side was filled with paying customers once again for the evening. We soon see Denise stepping off the elevator and looks around the lobby dressed in a short black cocktail dress with her hair pulled back away from her face, long silver earrings hung from her ears, while a black lace choker clung to her neck. Her black high heeled shoes clicked on the hard wood floor, as she sighs hearing her phone ring. She answers it as she leans against the wall.
Denise: Hello?
Night Rider: Listen I'm going to be late. I hate to do that to you, but something came up, and I can't get away.
Denise: It's ok. I'll just wait her until you can get here, and then we'll have a night out.
Night Rider: Are you sure?
Denise: Yes. I have all the time in the world.
He laughs on the other end, and Denise smiles to herself, as she sits at the piano that was to one side of the lobby.
Night Rider: I shouldn't be too long. Just wait at the hotel for me, and then we'll go.
Denise: Sounds good. I'll be waiting.
Denise hangs up the phone and sets it back in the deep blue and black clutch bag that she carried, and sets it beside her on the bench. She begins to play, "Walking in Memphis".

Denise: Put on my blue suede shoes,
And I boarded the plane.
Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues
in the middle of the pouring rain.
W.C Handy - won't you look down over me?
Yeah, I got a first class ticket,
but I'm blue as a boy can be
And I boarded the plane.
Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues
in the middle of the pouring rain.
W.C Handy - won't you look down over me?
Yeah, I got a first class ticket,
but I'm blue as a boy can be
She plays with ease and starts to attract an audience without her knowing.
Denise: Then I was walking in Memphis
I was walking with my feet ten feet off Beale
Walking in Memphis
But do I really feel the way I feel?
I saw the ghost of Elvis
On Union Avenue
Followed him up the gates of Graceland
Then I watched him walk right through
Now security did not see him
They just hovered 'round his tomb
But there's a pretty little thing,
Waiting for the King
Down in the Jungle Room.
I was walking with my feet ten feet off Beale
Walking in Memphis
But do I really feel the way I feel?
I saw the ghost of Elvis
On Union Avenue
Followed him up the gates of Graceland
Then I watched him walk right through
Now security did not see him
They just hovered 'round his tomb
But there's a pretty little thing,
Waiting for the King
Down in the Jungle Room.
The crowd had gathered around her as she continues to play.
Denise: Then I was walking in Memphis
I was walking with my feet ten feet off Beale
Walking in Memphis
But do I really feel the way I feel?
They've got Catfish on the table
They've got Gospel in the air
And Reverend Green, be glad to see you
When you haven't got a prayer
But boy you've got a prayer in Memphis
I was walking with my feet ten feet off Beale
Walking in Memphis
But do I really feel the way I feel?
They've got Catfish on the table
They've got Gospel in the air
And Reverend Green, be glad to see you
When you haven't got a prayer
But boy you've got a prayer in Memphis
Denise plays with perfect time, and the crowd seemed to be enjoying it, pulling more people toward her with each cord she played.
Denise: Now Muriel plays piano
Every Friday at the Hollywood
And they brought me down to see her
And they asked me if I would;
Do a little number
And I sang with all my might
And she said;
"Tell me are you a Christian child?"
And I said "Ma'am I am tonight!"
Walking in Memphis
I was walking with my feet
Ten feet off of Beale
Walking in Memphis
But do I really feel the way I feel?
Walking in Memphis
I was walking with my feet
Ten feet off of Beale
Walking in Memphis
But do I really feel the way I feel?
Every Friday at the Hollywood
And they brought me down to see her
And they asked me if I would;
Do a little number
And I sang with all my might
And she said;
"Tell me are you a Christian child?"
And I said "Ma'am I am tonight!"
Walking in Memphis
I was walking with my feet
Ten feet off of Beale
Walking in Memphis
But do I really feel the way I feel?
Walking in Memphis
I was walking with my feet
Ten feet off of Beale
Walking in Memphis
But do I really feel the way I feel?
The crowd had surrounded her taking in the music that floated in the air of the lobby.
Denise: Put on my blue suede shoes
And I boarded the plane
Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues
In the middle of the pouring -
rain
Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues
In the middle of the pouring rain.
And I boarded the plane
Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues
In the middle of the pouring -
rain
Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues
In the middle of the pouring rain.
The crowd erupts into cheers, as Denise smiles looking around. She lost herself in the music, and didn't even really notice. She gets up and bows slightly as she notices a young looking woman staring at her. Her deep brown eyes seem to shimmer in the bright light, but there was something off about her. Denise grabs her clutch bag and walks toward her. Denise moves through the crowd, and moves toward the young woman who seemed to disappear.
Denise: Where did you go?
Denise looks around, and sees her outside. The young woman smiles and walks into the alleyway with Denise following behind.
Voice: Looking for me?
Denise moves into the alleyway and looks up seeing the young woman on the roof. Denise moves between the buildings moving up to the roof of the lower building and that's when she finally got a good look at the young woman. She had deep brown hair to match her eyes, an was dressed in a tight red dress. Her ruby red lips curled in an evil smile as she pulled a shimmering silver blade out from the sheath on her back.
Denise: Do I know you?
Woman: No, but that doesn't matter does it? There are very few of us left, and only one of us can remain.
Denise: I see... So you don't know anything about me then?
Woman: Should I?
Denise laughs as she sets the purse down, as a sword appears. The two of them face stare at each other, before the dark haired woman runs at Denise. Denise side steps and trips her causing her to hit the rough roof top.
Denise: You know before you come at someone like me, you really should have a plan or at least do some checking into their past. You have no idea what you are in for.
Denise swings at the young woman, and hits her in the arm drawing blood. The young woman gets to her feet, and kicks Denise in the midsection. Denise stumbles back into the chimney knocking a few bricks loose. The young woman laughs as she puts her blade to Denise's throat.
Woman: This is it Denise. This is the end of the line. Before you die you should at least know my name... I'm Erica.
Denise: That's where you're wrong. I've been doing this for a long time. I'm one of the only second generations left. How old are you really Erica?
Erica: I've seen 300 years.
Denise laughs, as she grips the blade in her hand, letting the blood flow onto the roof.
Erica: What's so funny?
Denise: You're still young yet. I've seen so much in my life and yet things stay the same... You'll learn that in time.
Denise gets to her feet, with Erica's blade in her hand. Erica's eyes get wide as she sees Denise stand with her left hand dripping blood.
Erica: Do you really think you can beat me?
Denise: I know I can. But the real question is can you beat me?
Erica rushes her, but Denise side steps once again, and Erica catches herself before she goes over the side. She turns and rushes back at Denise and their blades clash int eh middle of the roof. Blood continues to drip from Denise's hand as the two of them continue to fight. Neither one wants to back off, and they stare each other down. Denise pushes against Erica's blade in hopes of breaking it. Erica headbutts Denise and sends her staggers slightly to the edge of the roof. Denise's black high heeled shoes slips over the edge, and she starts to go over. Denise falls but manages to catch herself with her blade hanging at her side. Erica moves to the edge and looks down with a smile forming on her ruby red lips.
Erica: Looks like the mighty have fallen. When I take your head it'll be just one less Immortal that roams the earth.
Denise: IF you take my head that is!
Denise lets go of the edge of the roof, and lands right into Night Rider's arms. He smiles and sets her down on the ground.
Night Rider: Am I late?
Denise: No, you're right on time. Now if you excuse me I have to go and finish something.
Night Rider: We're going to be late. I got our reservation for 8.
Denise: Don't worry this won't take long.
Denise kisses him and leaps back onto the roof landing in front of Erica. Her eyes get wide as Denise lands, and looks up at her with piece of hair falling in her face.
Denise: Miss me?
Erica: Damn it!
The two of them clash blades once again, and this time Denise starts getting the upper hand. She kicks Erica in the midsection and she sinks to the roof top. Denise lifts the blade over head only to have Erica kick her blade out of her hands and onto the roof. Erica laughs as she steps on Denise's hand hearing bones starting to crack under her heeled boot.
Erica: Why didn't you just stay down there? It would have been easier on you!
Denise: I'm not giving up that easy!
Denise grabs Erica's leg and hits the ham string. Erica crumples to the roof top and Denise gets up knowing her hand was broken but she still had to defeat Erica and the bones would set soon enough. Denise gets to her feet, and grabs her blade in her left hand.
Erica: C'mon you know you can't beat me with an off hand.
Denise: That's where you're wrong...
Denise flips the blade in her hand, and she smiles as the two of them start to battle it out once again.
Denise: *Voice Over* Last week I walked away without a win, but I'm not going to let that get to me. You see this week I have to face Biowalker once again, and I'm sure that Night Rider and I can handle anything they can throw at us. Oh wait we have... We've met on the field of battle once before and this time around it will not be as pleasant. I'm not going to play games this time around, and trust me when we are done with the two of you no one will ever recognize you.
The two of them come to a stand still and they separate both of them breathing hard. Denise's hair fell in her face, and her makeup had started to run.
Erica: You can't keep this up for much longer.
Denise: I can go as long as you can.
Erica: You're getting old Denise and so is this fight!
Erica comes at her but Denise trips her, and she hits the roof hard. Denise smiles as she raises the blade over her head and comes down slicing through the back of Erica's neck, and her head rolls to the other side of the roof, as heavy clouds start to gather. Lightening flashes above the city on the unusually cold evening, and Denise raises her hands above her head as the lightening starts to move through the blade. The wind picks up, and she falls to her knees feeling the power going through her body. The lightening stops, and the wind dies down, and the blade hits the ground, as Denise falls onto her face. Night rider climbs the ladder, and kneels at her side, resting her head in his lap. The police would never find the body on the roof, or at least for a few hours. He shivers slightly, from the cold and watches over her. Denise's eyes soon flutter open, and she smiles softly as she sees Night Rider sitting over her.
Denise: Hey.
Night Rider: Hey.
Denise: How long have I been out?
Night Rider: A few minutes. Are you all right?
Denise: I'm fine. I'm just a bit weak.
Night Rider: Are you sure you still want to go out?
Denise: I do. I'm not that bad off. But I must look awful after that.
Night Rider: You look beautiful. You always do.
Denise smiles as they kiss and head to the door leading into the building and opens it. The stairs were dark but they still managed to get down and to the front door.
Denise: *Voice Over* The man of my dreams, and the only one that seems to understand me is at my side again. The two of us are a team, and would do anything for each other. Tell me Walker do you really trust Bio, or are you just sticking with him because you think he can do something for you? Night Rider and I are on the same page for this match, and neither one of us will walk away from it, until we get what we want. This match is going to be one those things that no one will forget any time soon, and I know when we're done you and Bio will be on the mat wondering where you two went wrong, broken, battered, bruised, bloodied, and near death.
She smiles softly as they walk down the street.
Denise: *Voice Over* Walker you and I have faced off more than once and each time that we did, I walked away with the win. This week won't be any different. I've lost a few matches, but then again who hasn't right? Last week I lost a fatal four way, but then again I didn't have the help that I will this week. Walker by the end of this match you will know why I should be feared. You see last week was a fluke but this time I won't lose no matter what I have to do. If I have to break a few bones to bring you back to your senses and make sure that you know that I'm truly better then you are. You are a mere mortal that is standing against something even bigger then you. The Shadows have started to emerge from the Darkness and into the light to stop those that now stand in our way to gain the gold that we want to achieve. But you and Bio stand in our way, and must be punished, and brought down the only way we know how.
The night life was full of music, and the lights were bright as they passed the many clubs with loud music and smoke drifted on the air each time the door opened. Crowds still moved along the streets taking in the sights of the vast city.
Denise: *Voice Over* I will take great joy in destroying you Walker for the last time. This will be the last lesson that I beat into you, and hopefully you will learn it this time around. As for you Bio Hazard you have been nothing more than a thorn in my side. You and Walker keep throwing yourself into matches against us, and yet where has it gotten you? Nowhere! I don't think there is really anything left that I can really say to you since the last time that I faced you. What is there really left to say? This match is going to be your downfall, and Night Rider and I will rise to the top leading the Shadows to the top where we truly belong. You are nothing more then stepping stones for us, and so is anyone else that stands in our way on the way to the top. As for our match you know that no matter what you do, you will be beaten, and broken and left in the middle of the ring because we will you to live, and nothing more.
Night Rider: Are you all right?
Denise: I'm fine.
Night Rider: You just seem a bit quiet that's all.
Denise: I'm fine, just thinking about our match this week.
Night Rider: It's going to go the way we want it. You have nothing to worry about. We'll win this match and show that the Shadows of Darkness are not a group that needs to be messed with. We will destroy Biowalker once again, and there is nothing that they can do to stop us no matter what we have to do.
Denise: I know. That's why we are the best at what we do. We'll be ready for them, and anyone else that stands in our way. For we are the Shadows of Darkness and we are everywhere.
The two of them laugh and walk off into the night, with the bright lights behind them. They walk down a hill and the two of them disappear into the night as the scene fades to black.
Denise: Where did you go?
Denise looks around, and sees her outside. The young woman smiles and walks into the alleyway with Denise following behind.
