The scene opens on the white beach that spread out before the long board walk in Miami. The day was bright and sunny once again. People dressed in very clad outfits walked along the beach, played volleyball, and enjoyed the heat of the late afternoon sun. The outdoor cafe's and restaurants were filled with people, but one seemed to be out of place dressed in a black tank top, and tight leather pants that seemed to cling to her lower half. We see Denise sitting at one of the outdoor cafe's with a pair of sunglasses over her eyes. She watches the beach goers moving along the boardwalk and enjoying the day. She had seen the latest promo that Alpine had done and she was ready to take him out no matter what she had to do. The Shadows had given her orders and she would carry them out with pleasure. Denise knew it would be a few hours more before Night Rider would finally see the light and the words of the Shadows of Darkness would sink in, and then he would understand.
Voice: Miss D'evil?
Denise looks up and sees Hank Brown standing in front of her wearing very colorful shorts, and a Hawaiian shirt. Denise sighs, as she gets to her feet.
Denise: Mr. Brown, what are you doing here?
Hank Brown: I came to get a few words from you about your match this week.
Denise: I see. Have a seat.
Denise sits back down, and kicks out a chair across from her. Hank sits down, as Denise leans back in her seat.
Hank Brown: Thank you. I take it you have seen the latest from Alpine... How do you feel about what he has said about your allegiance to the group known as the Shadows of Darkness?
Denise: I don't really care what he had to say. I know what the Shadows are doing is for the good of the WCF. They are here to help us, and if anyone stands in the way then Night Rider and myself have to put them down and make sure they do not speak badly about them.
Hank Brown: I see. As for your other opponents this week, they have yet to really say anything. Mod Deuce and Jayden have been silent. What do you have to say about them?
Denise: Mod Deuce, I figured he wouldn't have the balls to open his mouth. I've only seen him in a couple of matches and I haven't been really impressed with him.
Hank Brown: What about Jayden Thunder?
Denise: I've faced him a couple of times before and this week will be just a repeat of the last time that we met. I took him down and didn't even think twice about it, and I'll do the same thing that I did then.
Hank Brown: You seem sure in your abilities and after your last few matches I'm sure that you can handle anything that they throw at you.
Denise smiles and leans forward in her seat. Her deep blue eyes sparkled underneath the sunglasses she wore.
Denise: I've been around for a long time Hank, and I've been through a lot. I've been trained in every fighting style, and with every weapon that I could get my hands on. I've been in a few wrestling companies before and have done well for myself, and so far I've managed to get my hands on at least two titles while I've been in the WCF. Yes I can handle whatever the boss can throw at me. Thunder, Alpine, and Deuce have no chance against me.
Hank Brown: Tell me what happened when you were in the hands of the Shadows of Darkness?
Denise lowers her head, and looks back up at him with a soft sigh. She hadn't really thought about what happened since she had left them.
Denise: The night that they took Night Rider and I, they took us to some warehouse. I remember the sounds of the old bay doors as we went inside, and then they chained me to the chair, knowing that I could get away if I got my hands loose. Then they drugged me with something, just to keep we weak. Night Rider got away and tried to help me, but he was to late. I had seen the light and the words of the Shadows rang in my ears.
Hank Brown: You have said that you are their Herald...
Denise: Yes. I've been chosen as their Herald to tell of their coming, and I have done that. Last week I pleased them with the win that I had, and I shall not disappoint them this week. It is my time to shine, no matter who's face I have to break.
Hank Brown: Those are some strong words Denise. Do you think that you're underestimating your opponents?
Denise: Not at all. If they want to win that bad then they will fight for it. I'm not saying that they can't fight, but they have to step it up if they want to stop me, and the Shadows of Darkness. I've been waiting for a match like this for a while now, and this week will be a night that no one will forget.
Hank Brown: Why is that?
Denise smiles to herself, and takes a sip from the glass that sat in front of her.
Denise: I can't tell you that. It's going to be a very big surprise.
Hank Brown: You can't even give me a hint?
Denise: No. Now if you excuse me, I have something that needs to be done.
Hank Brown: Thank you for taking the time to speak with me Denise. Good luck this week.
Denise: Luck? I won't need it. This week I'll have the win under me while they're in the middle of the ring, broken.
Denise downs the rest of the drink, and sets the glass down before walking away, leaving Hank watching her leave. Her cell phone rings, and she answers it with a smile.
Denise: Hello?
Voice: Are you ready for this week?
Denise: Of course I am. I don't plan on going out of this match that easy. They want to put up a fight, then I'll be ready for them.
Voice: Good. Everything is ready for Sunday night. No one is going to believe their eyes when we reveal everything to them.
Denise: I know. It's going to be perfect. The Shadows of Darkness will finally be revealed.
The voice on the other end of the laughs, as does Denise.
Voice: I have no doubt that you will win the match Denise. You've done well so far.
Denise: Thank you. I won't disappoint you this week.
Voice: We know that you won't. Come and check in with us before Sunday. He's ready if you want to speak with him.
The other end slips into silence as Denise smiles to herself and starts to walk along the boardwalk. She got looks from people that sat at the outdoor cafe's and restaurants but she didn't care. Others took pictures knowing who she was, and didn't want to miss a chance at seeing the Death Bringer this close. She continues along the boardwalk letting her thoughts wander.
Denise: Alpine you don't know when to keep your mouth shut do you? I mean all you do is talk about things that you don't understand. The Shadows of Darkness is something that you don't understand, and shouldn't be making fun of. We are all powerful and we will not back down until those that stand in our way have fallen before us. You are full of yourself and yet you think you're better then I am? Hardly. I am not a normal human and I have seen a lot of things, and a lot of people like you. They thought they were the best and they fell because of their arrogance. You will be no different and I know that you will fall, no matter what you do to save yourself. Our opponents don't seem to know what to think or to say to someone like me, and maybe that is for the best don't you think? You were the only one to open their mouths and say something, not once but twice.
Denise finally comes to a parking lot and hops onto the Harley that sat in the spot. She places the pure black helmet on her head, and turns it on. The bike roars to life, and soon she takes off heading toward another part of town.
Denise: Mod Deuce you have yet to say anything and I know that you are keeping silent for a reason. Have you finally seen the error of your ways and realized that it is better to stay silent while facing your superiors. The last few times that you have gotten into the ring you have faced less talented people then you giving you the feeling of total accomplishment when you won. This time you face me, and I will not give up no matter what you do in this match. I will win this match and when all is said and done you, Thunder, and Alpine will be beaten, broken, bruised, and bloodied lying in the middle of the ring wondering where it all went wrong.
Denise smiles to herself as her eyes seem to shift from a deep blue to a red before shifting back to normal.
Denise: Thunder I don't think there is anything else that I can say to you that hasn't already been said to our other two opponents for this week. We've faced each other in the ring, and yet you still think that you can beat me. That is so cute. You have been thrown to the wolves this week and it's not going to be pretty when everything is said and done. I will not hold back, and I will fight until there is blood in the ring. Not mine of course but everyone else's. The Shadow's of Darkness will be so pleased. This week as I stand in the middle of the ring, facing the three of you I will call upon them and the Darkness to protect me and to give me power that I have come to embrace. I'm going to fall, nor shall I fail in the task that has been set before me. I will destroy everyone that stands in my way, and this week I will start with the three of you. The Death Bringer comes and she comes for you! See you soon. Oh and good luck... You're going to need it.
Denise smiles as she moves through the streets and soon reaches the warehouse where she had left from earlier. She turns the bike off, and removes the helmet and heads inside. Her high heeled boots click on the cement floor, as she enters back into the darkened warehouse. She removes the dark glasses and looks around.
Voice: Hello lovely.
Denise turns around, and smiles seeing Night Rider had been released. She runs to him and they kiss losing themselves in the unholy embrace of the darkness as the scene fades to black.
Voice: Miss D'evil?
