The scene opens as I am pacing back and forth in my hotel room at the Raleigh Hilton Hotel on my cell phone talking to Sylvia. Dressed in a pair of skin tight blue denim jeans, a pair of black trainers, a black Lacuna Coil T-shirt and a black leather jacket, my mind is frantic as I think about what Sylvia has just told me as I ask.
“Where is he now?”
Sylvia obviously realises that I’m worried and replies to me in a calming tone with.
“He’s back home with me…”
I continue to pace, worried sick as I quickly respond.
“Okay I’m coming home; I’m getting the next flight…”
As I begin to make my way to the door, Sylvia interrupts my flow by saying.
“No Stace, he’s fine…I’m here looking after him…you need to stay there and focus on your match this week.”
I run my hand through my long black hair before stating.
“But he needs me Sylvia…”
I hear her sigh on the other end of the phone and then she says.
“Stace, trust me, he’s fine. Both of you need to give each other space, you both need to understand that you’re both in the wrestling business and both of you are going to get hurt at times. You were just telling me the other day that you wanted to use this opportunity to move out of Matt’s shadow and make a name for yourself. One of those things you need to do, as much as it may hurt you inside, is you’ve got to leave Matt to recover on his own whilst you go ahead and do your own thing.”
I drop onto the edge of my bed, she’s right, as much as it pains me to not be able to go and be at my husband’s side, I’ve got to let him recover on his own and I need to focus on making a name for myself here in the WCF. I let out a small sigh before saying to her.
“Yeah you’re right Sylvia…but keep me posted on how he’s doing okay?”
I get back to my feet and grab my car keys and my room key as she replies saying.
“Of course I will Stace, I’ll catch you later okay, bye…”
I end the call and place my phone into my pocket before walking over to the door and leaving the hotel room as the scene fades.

The scene re-opens at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina, the place that will air this Sunday’s edition of Slam. I’m sitting in the middle of the ring with my legs crossed, my arms resting on my legs as I stare down at the floor. The arena is completely empty, allowing myself to just sit there allowing myself to keep calm and think about my upcoming fight. As the camera gets closer to me, I slowly raise my head and look into the camera and say.
“Ever since I began my wrestling career in 2009 as a member of the NWA, whilst I was constantly fighting at a mid-card level, becoming a two time NWA Starlet’s Champion, becoming a one time NWA Television Champion and becoming a one time NWA World Tag Team Champion…my husband was fighting in the Main Event fighting to win one of the five NWA World Heavyweight Championships he’s held, fighting to retain one of the five NWA World Heavyweight Championships he’s held or fighting another Main Event NWA Superstar. I have always been seen as Matthew Robinson’s wife and whoever my husband butted heads with, I would be used by them to get under my husband’s skin, whether that person would make derogatory statements about me or they would kidnap me…”
I smirk a little before continuing.
“But now things are going to change, this is my time now to get out of the mid-card and get myself into the Main Event. I want people to notice who I am for my accomplishments and my in ring talent, not that I am the wife of Matthew Robinson, because I am more than that.”
I stroke my hands through my long black hair as I continue.
“Last week I once again came so close to defeating Benjamin Atreyu, I went into that match more focused, more determined and more aggressive than ever before. And as a result of that, I gained the respect from someone I never thought I would, and that was Logan, the same Logan who used to get under my husband’s skin by making derogatory comments about me. And that’s what I am after, and I will not stop until every single person on the WCF Roster recognizes me as a legitimate threat in this business, I will not stop until every single person on the WCF Roster respects me as one of the greatest female wrestlers to ever step foot into this ring! And that’s the respect I was talking about when I was talking about Benjamin Atreyu last week. Atreyu turned around and said that showing respect to him, was my weakness…well I don’t see it that way because the respect I have for him is simply based off what he has achieved in this business, but when it comes to respecting him as a person, as a man? I have no respect for him whatsoever. I don’t see having respect for someone’s wrestling accomplishments and ability a weakness, it shows that I know that I am in for a tough fight, so I mentally and physically prepare myself so I can meet that challenge and make my opponent fight their hardest to get the victory over me.”
I brush some of my hair away from my face before continuing.
“And the respect I have for Benjamin Atreyu is the same for my opponent for this week, Oblivion. I know that he’s a former one time WCF World Heavyweight Champion, a former one time WCF United States Champion, a former one time WCF Television Champion, a former one time WCF Tag Team Champion and a former seven times WCF Hardcore Champion. I know he’s won awards that include things like the 2011 Tag Team of the Year, the 2013 Hardcore Champion of the Year and that he’s a Triple Crown Champion. Someone with that many accomplishments, you can’t help but have respect for him as a wrestler and as a competitor, but like Atreyu, I have zero respect for him as a person, more so after what he did to my husband at One at the end of last year.”
I chuckle a little as I continue.
“Oblivion, I know that you’re six foot three inches tall and weigh three hundred and five pounds, meaning you’re eight inches taller than me and out-weigh me by one hundred and fifty five pounds. Not to mention the fact that I’m a woman and you’re a man, I know you’ll be going into this match with the utmost confidence, you probably believe you already have this match won before it’s even begun. But I’m wondering if you’re familiar with the old saying, ‘the bigger they are, the harder they fall’…are you familiar with that saying Oblivion? Well you better be, because it doesn’t matter if you have the size advantage over me, it doesn’t matter if you believe you’re the superior gender, and it doesn’t matter that you’re a more accomplished wrestler than I am because I have faced men as big as you in the past and I have walked out from those matches with the victory.”
I nod and smile before continuing.
“I know you’re probably going to turn around and say, I’m ‘The Monster’ Oblivion, I am like no other man you have ever faced before and I’m going to take you to Hell because I will destroy you in the middle of that ring. Well do you know what I say to that Oblivion? I say that I’ve heard it all before, and I’ve heard it being said by men that I have defeated. You think that there is nobody like you when you fail to realise that there are many out there like you. Someone with a split personality? Someone who has lost someone close to them? Getting put into an insane asylum because of how crazy you are? And you claim there is nobody else like you? I know plenty of people who are exactly like you, or very similar. So in other words Oblivion, just like a lot of people, you’re full of shit.”
I stand to my feet and rest against the ropes and continue.
“I bet you think that I’m scared of you Oblivion? I bet you thought that the moment you told my husband that when you were done with him, you’d go after me, that I would be terrified to ever get into a ring with you? Well if I was the Stacy Robinson I once was, you may have been right, but this Stacy Robinson, the new Stacy Robinson, she has no fear. This Stacy Robinson is done being afraid of people like you who walk through these corridors striking fear into the hearts of everyone who comes across your path.”
I tilt my head back and let out a laugh before continuing.
“Look at me Oblivion, look at how laid back I am, look at how calm I am…I am not afraid of you Oblivion. You think I’d be afraid of you because you injured my husband at One don’t you? Well I am NOT my husband! I am Stacy Robinson and I don’t give a damn who you are…I don’t care how big you are…I don’t care how strong you are. Every single member of the WCF Roster, every single member of the WCF Universe will forever remember the date, Sunday January 12th, 2014…because that will be the day that Stacy Robinson, the underdog, the person who isn’t even thought of by most of this Roster as being allowed to breathe the same air as they do, will do the impossible and defeat ‘The Monster’ Oblivion!”
I begin to chuckle as I make my way over to the ropes leading towards the entrance ramp, before I exit through the ropes, I turn back to the camera one final time and simply finish with.
“Oblivion…I hope you’re ready…because your final penance is coming!”
I laugh before leaving the ring and heading up the ramp to the back as the scene fades.
