The scene opens up to the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island. The camera pans through the arena showing the empty seats where soon thousands of members of the WCF Galaxy will sit for the first 2014 edition of Slam. Finally the camera stops in the ringside area as we see Jayden Thunder sitting Indian style in the ring. He's wearing his usual attire, a hoodie with the logo of a hand grabbing a lightning bolt and stars in the background, his wrestling trunks, kneepads, and boots with kick pads and designs of stars.
Jayden Thunder: "I made my debut for this company at it's biggest pay per view, One. I competed in a nine person tag team titles contendership match Battle Royal, where the final two participants would go on to face the Thickness later in the night. While I was successful in the Battle Royal with Dez Angel, outlasting Zack Wild, Jason Weslow, The Original Gangster, Chris Davidson, Xavier, David Krink, and Cormack MacNeill, me and Dez Angel, came up short against the reigning dominant tag team champions Odin Balfore and Bobby Cairo. It was a hard fought match and a great opportunity to showcase our skills at the grandest stage of them all.
Fast forward to the WCF Wednesday night New Years edition and I competed in a twelve person elimination Battle Royal with Mod Deuce, Jayson Price, Lilith, sn0w, Oblivion, Original Gangster, Caleb Fourchon, Serial Thrilla, Diablo, Steele Matthews and Stacy Robinson with the final two winning contendership for the Internet and Peoples title held by Zombie McMorris and Night Rider respectively. While I did go the distance and made it to the final three, I came up short again as I was tossed out of the ring and the match was won by Lilith and Jayson Price.
If I may say so myself it's been hell of a ride so far. I've been in the ring with WCF legends like Odin Balfore, Bobby Cairo, Jayson Price and Oblivion, regulars like Lilith and Cormack MacNeill, and new comers like Steele Matthews, Stacy Robinson, Caleb Fourchon, Serial Thrila etc. who are all looking to make an impact here in the company."
Jayden is smiling before turning into a smirk.
Jayden Thunder: "But it's not enough! I'm not looking to share the spotlight and the fame. I laced up my boots again to prove to myself that I still have it. I spent many years on the indy circuit, main eventing, winning and losing gold, and tearing down the house. I came in here spitting out how the lightning will strike and everyone feeling the wrath. And despite almost tasting gold again two different occassions, I've come up short. I've come up short for that validation that I still have what it takes to call myself a wrestler. Self doubt is one's true weakness. If you doubt yourself, whose going to believe in you?
And this is where I'm flicking the switch. I know my worth. I know what I can do in that ring. And so with that said. Gone are the days of self doubt. I'm tired of coming up short so I'm going all the way. 2014 will be my year. Mark my words I will hold gold again. Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently. This Sunday is a start in that direction.
At the first 2014 edition of Slam I'm to team with Dez Angel and go against The Original Gangster and Zack Wild. I've already been in the ring with the so-called OG and party boy Zack Wild. I was in the ring against them in the Battle Royal at One. I watched Zack Wild get tossed out like yesterday's trash and I tossed OG's big ass out myself. And I outlasted OG in the Battle Royal this past Wednesday Night. So on Slam I expect myself to make short work of those two as I have already shown I am better than them."
Jayden is seen standing now with his arms and hands extending outwards and his head looking up to the heavens as the screen fades to black.
