Act 1: A new challenge
"Don't be afraid to fail. Don't waste energy trying to cover up failure. Learn from your failures and go on to the next challenge. It's OK to fail. If you're not failing, you're not growing."

The scene opens on the vast city of Las Vegas. It stretched out toward the lonely and empty desert where the darkness was heavy and loneliness seemed to be all around. The lights of the city filled the night, while the traffic moved like bright streaks of light. Crowds filled the strip in search of something to do, or to finish last minute shopping. It was the start of the holiday season and Vegas lacked one thing that most people loved for this time of year... Snow. The palm trees were bright green and the flowers still bloomed and their smell drifted on the air. After spending time in the rocky mountains of Colorado it seemed strange to come to the warmer climates of the South West. The camera moves to the private villas of the Bellagio that were now decorated for the Christmas season. As the camera focuses on the interior of one of the villas there stood a tall douglas fir tree decorated with bright lights and beautiful ornaments sparkling in the lights that surrounded them. The bannisters and columns were done in pine boughs. "Mary Did you know?" by Clay Atkins plays on the stereo and it drifts through the villa as the night settles in. The camera moves to the living room where we find Denise and Night Rider sitting in front of the massive fireplace in each others arms. The week before had not gone the way she wanted, but it was something she was use to by now. One week she would be on top and the next she would be right back to where she was. Chelsea and Matt had managed to win the match, leaving Tasha without a title in hand. Denise had fought tooth and nail to win the match but had tagged in Tasha just to have it slip thorough their hands. She stares into the flames that burned brightly in the fireplace as her mind flashes back to another time.
The Dunes Hotel and Casino
1964
The scene opens on the Dunes Hotel and Casino. The night was steamy and full of life and the neon lights filled the night sky as the stars dimmed against them in the sky. The sounds of the games and the machines filled the air of the casino as a young woman in a fiery red dress appeared. Her long dark hair framed her face, as she glanced around the tables moving through the crowd as if she was in search of something. This was Denise in the early 1960's and she was a vixen, that was seen in all of the upper class places with a fascination of the modern world. She had seen the world change more than once, and so many things change over the smallest amount of time. The sound of Frank Sinatra's voice drifted from the theater that was just outside the casino. She moved to the theater and slipped the doorman a 20 before moving toward the front of the stage taking a seat by herself. She closes her eyes listening to the music drift around her, only to feel an old feeling drift over her. She opens her eyes and there sitting in front of her was a young man with dark hair. He looks at her with a smile forming on his lips.
Man: Hello Denise.
Denise looks at him with her eyes narrowing.
Denise: Gregory... What are you doing here?
Gregory: I came to finish this once and for all. We've been doing this dance for years now.
Denise: You want to do this now? It can't wait?
Gregory: No. I don't know why you hold such a fascination for the younger crowds. They bore me. So lets begin.
Denise shakes her head, and gets to her feet.
Denise: Not here. We'll fight outside. No one in here needs to get involved...
He sighs as Denise walks out of the theater and heads for the front door. They pass through the crowds and out into the street.
Voice: Denise? Denise? Earth to Denise.

Voice: Denise? Denise? Earth to Denise.
Denise shakes from her thoughts as she looks up at Night Rider. She blushes slightly as she leans against the couch.
Denise: Sorry, just have a lot on my mind...
Night Rider: Penny for your thoughts...
Denise: Just remembering when this was the Dunes. The strip wasn't like it is now. Most of the hotels weren't here or were something else at that time.
Night Rider: How many times have you been here?
Denise: I was here when it was first founded in 1905 to the day that the Manhattan project was set off. But even then it wasn't all at once. It was over a period of time. I can't stay in one place for long.
Night Rider: But you settled in Sleepy Hollow right?
Denise: I did. But even that wasn't for a long time. I remember when the strip wasn't lit like it is today. You could still see the stars above the city back then.
Night Rider: Is that all? I mean our match is coming up against S-Pac this week.
Denise: I'm not to worried. As long as we all stay on the same page, we should be all right. I'm going to go and get some air. It's getting a bit warm.
Night Rider: All right. Tell you what... I'll get ready to go and we can go out on the town tonight... Just you and me.
Denise: Sounds like a good idea.
With that Denise kisses him softly and heads out to the pool area to wait on him. The night was starting to cool down, and a light breeze moves around her.
Denise: This week we are going to face a force that haunts and lurks around the WCF in shadows. But it's time to come out of them and face us. I know that you three have been a team a bit longer then we have but that doesn't matter right now. Let's start with you Mr. Gable. The last man that had the last name name Gable was a great man, but you, what have you done that makes you so great? You've won a few titles and even those will fade with time. Will you be remembered for what you have done? Or will you fade away into nothingness when everything is said and done? This week Gable I will be the one to bring you to your knees make you fade into nothingness and wishing that someone would put you out of your misery. I'm not going to hold back, let alone stop until I get what I want, and that is another win no matter what I have to do to bring you and the others down.
She walks around the pool casting her reflection into the water below.
Denise: What is worse than an aging man? One that is high on coke. Do you know when that first came out in the 1800's it was a way to calm people before surgery, and used in the first soda? That's why the first Coca Cola was so addictive. It would eventually become illegal and people would still find a way to get their hands on it no matter what the cost. Tell me Waylon what are you willing to do to get the next win, and your next fix? How far will you go to stop us in this match? Or will you just sit back and watch your partners try to win this match in hope that you will walk away with another win for the S-Pac? We're going to fight you tooth and nail just to get this win and prove once again that we can beat anyone that Twilight puts in front of us. You have a few titles on your record but what will be left when you get your hands on all of them? Nothing. Like Gable your name will fade in time while we rise to the top and take what is rightfully ours. I've watched your matches and I know what makes you tick, and it's easy to bring you down. Cut off your supply and you'll be just a normal man like the rest. Take away the addiction and you jones for that next fix, and hope to God that you can find some before you kill yourself in the end.
Denise smiles to herself, as she leans against one of the railings that ran around the low wall separating the Villa's grounds from the one next to it. Her dark eyes sparkled in the dim light of the lights that lined the pool.
Denise: Benjamin that just leaves you... But I saved you for the last for a simple reason. You remind me of another man that thought he was better than everyone else. You are the poster boy for what they stood for, and have the perfect look that he strived for. In 1940 Hitler was just like you. Had a God complex and look where it got him. A bullet to the head for the trouble, and the loss of what he took from the rest of the world. Tell me what are you willing to lose? Everything or nothing? How far are you willing to put your God like body on the line? Tell me how much do you trust your partners? Do you trust them enough with your life or are you hiding your true intent? It doesn't matter in the end with me Benny because Night Rider, Tasha and I will be walking away from this with the win under us and the three of you in the middle of the ring. Bring everything that you have into that ring because you're going to need it. No matter what you do, or even try to do it won't be enough. I will bring you to your knees and when you ask for it to end I will laugh and make you wish you were dead. I will break everyone bone in your body just for fun, and leave your broken, battered, bruised and bloodied in the middle of the ring, or wherever you fall. And if I'm feeling generous I won't cut your head off.
Her eyes seem to sparkle in the light like a predator stalking her prey. The sliding glass doors make a sound, and there stood Night Rider with a black leather jacket over his arm, along with Denise's trench coat in his hands. He helps her get it on, and the two of them head for the pathway that would lead them to the parking lot where her rental car waited.
Night Rider: So where do you want to go?
Denise: I don't know... Why don't we go for a drive?
He just nods, as they reach the black BMW convertible. Denise slides in and the top starts to go down as the engine revs loudly. She smiles as the radio blasts "I Wanna Go" by Britney Spears. Denise puts her foot to the pedal and they are screeching out of the parking lot and out onto the streets of Las Vegas.
Denise: *Voice Over* As for my team, Night Rider and I have been through a lot and I'll stick by his side no matter what. I know we have a match coming up after the New Year but we will deal with it when we get to it. For now we will work together and do what we have to do to win this match. I know that he has my back, and I have his through this whole thing. Sunday night will be our time to shine and the win will be worth everything that we do to get it. As for Tasha she and I have become fast friends and are getting use to being in matches together. I know she was the one that got pinned last week but that's ok. This week we'll make sure that none of us get pinned, and we walk away with what's important and as a team. The Death Bringer comes and she comes for you. See you soon gentlemen.
Denise smirks as they head towards the city limits. The stars started to get brighter as they moved away from the lights of the city, and toward the blackness of the long stretch of road. The music still blared as they disappeared leaving only the sound of music and the flash of brake lights as the scene fades to black.
Denise: Sorry, just have a lot on my mind...
Night Rider: Penny for your thoughts...
