Wrestling Championship Federation (WCF) recently reported on their website that they have signed yet another new member to their roster, adding to their recent influx of wrestling hopefuls.
The subject of interest this time round is Remus Micayle, a twenty-nine year old hailing from Phoenix, Arizona. From what the BR team gathered from online journals and social media, Micayle appears to have been quite the brain - having obtained a Ph. D in the field of exercise science. The team has also found evidence that Micayle had wrestled previously in independent promotions in Japan, Canada, Israel, and the United Kingdom. However, this would be his first foray into the kingpin of professional wrestling, and we can only speculate on his success there. What's noteworthy, however, is how quickly the young doctor has made his mark on the fans via a series of interesting-albeit-tactless videos. More than a few comments have been made about them, and it seems that Micayle is not stopping them anytime soon.
Not much else is known about this relative newcomer to the wrestling industry. However, we quote Miss Lily Fonda from the WCF Human Resources Department, who seems to hint that the higher-ups are impressed by Micayle.
"He might not be the very best on the active roster, but we have seen his work in other places, and like what we have seen. What we can say is this: if he can improve on the quality of his wrestling, Remus has some VERY big things in his future."
Micayle will be debuting at WCF's inaugural PPV, ONE.

We have heard rumours from the locker room regarding WCF's new acquisition Dr. Remus Micayle. An anonymous source has revealed to us that the newcomer has received heat backstage due to his rookie contract, which some old-timers feel is undeserved as far as experience goes. The details that we have managed to gather are as followed:
Name: Remus Micayle, Ph.D Age: 29 Contact Length: 5 years Annual Pay: $600,000 downside Contractual Perks: First class travel arrangements, receives an additional 1.5% bonus in the case of high merchandise sales.
After analysing the contract, we do agree that it is a little on the high side, which no doubt is the reason for the friction backstage. However, to be fair, it is still a considerable distance away from the payrolls of WCF superstars such as Jonny Fly, Eric Price, and Steve Orbit. But then again, time has proven again and again that not all expensive purchases have been worthwhile investments - case in point, the signings of flops Zero and Jaguar-F earlier in the year.
Do you think that Sarah Twilight's team overpaid for this relatively new wrestler? Or will this be the bargain deal of a lifetime? Do comment below and let us know what you think!

Dr. Remus Micayle has been a name buzzing in certain wrestling circles recently. The former academic-turned-wrestler recently signed a professional contract with Wrestling Championship Federation (WCF), and as one might expect, raised more than a few eyebrows with his latest 'educational' video last night on Slam.
This time however, it was less of a lesson and more of a message sent to the wrestlers backstage - including one particular Ryan 'Venom' Rhodes. In the short clip, Micayle spouted several jabbing statements towards the reigning United States champion, insinuating that the only reason he won the title was due to sheer luck. Predictably, the pro-Rhodes crowd reacted badly, and the clip was received extremely badly, based on what we found on online forums across the web.
The shocker, however, was when Micayle proceeded to pour a tub of 'freshly procured Texas horse manure' all over Rhodes's locker. It was a calculated move to enrage the champion, and based on the Twitter conversation going on between the two, it seemed to have worked. Could we be seeing a Rhodes versus Micayle match at ONE?
Let us know in the comment section your thoughts regarding Micayle's actions, and how he would fare against Ryan Rhodes, arguably one of WCF's most popular imports thus far. Has he stuck it too far? Or has he made a brilliant move to perhaps shock the world?

3 Reasons why Dr. Micayle will defeat Ryan Rhodes at ONE and go on to be a huge success in the WCF.
The shadowing figure of Doctor Remus Micayle has captivated fans from all over the globe in recent times. With his quiet demeanour, imposing figure, and higher-than-average intelligence, he is one wrestler that the WCF has not seen before in its decade-long history.
His most recent confrontation with United States Champion Ryan Rhodes at the end of Slam is one that must have left fans all over wanting for more. A match, issued by the Scientist, at ONE for Rhodes's treasured title. And not just any match; but a First Blood match.
Ordinarily, this might not seem like much. True, it would be tough, given the brutality of the contest and the strength of Rhodes as a fighter. But add in the relative freshness of Micayle - a hereby untested rookie who has not wrestled a single match in the WCF - and the mental stress of having to perform at WCF's marquee PPV, and you have yourself one dark horse or a match.
Like it or not, this author here believes that Micayle will somehow defy the odds and defeat Rhodes at ONE, bleeding him and obtaining the United States title in his first ever match. Here's why:
1) He's nothing but well-trained. Take away the intellectual advantage Micayle possesses over Rhodes. You'll think that Venom has him outmatched in the ring, right? Wrong. From our research, we discovered that Micayle has actually dominated in indie wrestling circles all over the world before arriving here in the WCF. He may be untested in combat here, but trust me when I say that he's far from a blueblooded novice.
After viewing several of his tapes, we here at BR were impressed by his physicality and ring awareness. Though not a technician of the same calibre as Rhodes, we dare say that Rhodes may be a tad outmatched when it comes to delivering quick, brutal blows. The Scientist uses a strong, unorthodox style designed to inflict pain and punishment - think kidney blows, throat thrusts, and joint holds - and having a debut match in a First Blood match is sure to put Micayle in a comfortable position.
Furthermore, he's young and hungry. Who doesn't want gold at an early stage of his or her career? If the likes of John Gable and FPV can achieve so much in their relatively short careers, who's to say that Micayle can't do the same?
2) He knows how to talk. It has been barely a month since WCF CEO Sarah Twilight signed him to the federation, but look at what he has done already! In case you missed out, here's a quick recap: negotiating a $600,000 deal for his rookie contract, somehow managing to talk himself into a championship bout in his first match, and delivering a mental blow to Rhodes by personally pouring horse manure all over his delicates.
If that isn't impressive, I don't know what is. As you might well know, Sarah Twilight isn't actually the type of person to let crap run all over her show (literally in this case!), and Micayle must definitely have gotten some sort of clearance before daring to do such a stunt. What does this mean? He clearly has himself a position inside the boss's ear. How valuable he is, that's a different story altogether, one one that's highly debatable.
Yet, if you think about the number of WCF superstars throughout the years that have tried to impress the way he did in their debut weeks, Micayle's definitely on top of the pack.
3) He knows his audience well. Let's face it: Micayle isn't exactly the most likeable guy on the roster. But why is it that despite this, week after week, he remains a strong presence both on WCF and on social media? Simple. This kid knows his audience well.
The words he chooses, the topics he talks about, the thoughts that run through his head. All of these are not for naught. He understands the game well, and wants to take full advantage of it. Take for instance his Twitter account. Instead of purely reserving it for gossip (cough, Cooper, cough), he does a beautiful mix of both fun facts and trash talking. It is our belief that if he wants to, he can easily claim the Internet Title as well.
But that's for another day. For this Scientist, the focus is obviously on Ryan Rhodes, and how he's going to force the reigning US champion to bleed at ONE.

ooc -- Just letting you know that html brackets don't work on the forum. You'll have to use board brackets : [ & ] . That'll allow you to 'bold' & 'italicize' words. But other than that... you're certainly a solid writer. Thinking you may very well walk away with the strap. Good luck.

Reports are circulating from the WCF locker room that United States champion Doctor Remus Micayle has established considerable backstage heat with some members of the roster.
Micayle, who had showed on live television a video of himself attacking WCF longstay face El Taco Del Genial earlier on Slam, is reportedly shunned backstage, with many fearing that they are the next wrestler on the Scientist's genocidal cause.
The twenty-nine year old had declared earlier that he will be embarking on a federation-wide project. Labelled Team Science, Micayle proclaimed that he will lead a revolution to improve the very fabric of society - apparently starting with the WCF locker room.

Behold fellow brothers of Team Science!
As you would have already known, our great leader Doctor Remus Micayle will be defending his Holy Grail, the WCF United States Championship live on Payback next Sunday! We all know he'll emerge victorious against the worthless inferior that is Benjamin Atreyu, so do stay tuned to Atreyu's impending demise!
I managed to sneak a conversation with our star and supreme leader last week before Slam, and he once again truly enlightened me as to why the world needs such devoted followers of Team Science such as us. Without him, there will be no peace in America. The truth will be concealed by the numerous traitors, mongrels, Benedict Arnolds that hide within our midst, ready to strike when we are at our weakest. We have to support him at all costs, and spread the word of science!
Doctor Micayle stressed his concerns to me that the world was not taking his recent work seriously. El Taco de Genial the foreign-loving ingrate, Fat Dango the obese sludge blob, and most recently the emo devil worshipper that is CryBoy McEmo are merely the products of a corrupt and unsafe America. He promised that if left uncheck, the sins that lie within the populace will grow, and become a threat to the rest of us intelligent beings. No longer will there be a sane world. Imagine a country (or GASP, a world), where every mother spreads a falsehood to their children. The horror - what would our country become! Are there going to be no more thinkers anymore!?
I must share a testimony. Ever since I've become a devotee of Team Science and converted to Doctor Micayle's cause, I've found that my life has had a new sense of purpose. No longer am I plagued with uncertainties about life! Instead, all I have to do is to calm down and rationalise why something is acting the way it is. Evolution is a natural way of life; and instead of cursing it, we ought to grow with it and let things work the way they should. Cause and effect, my brethren. Never forget that. Wise words from the wisest man in the world.
Doctor Micayle also promised that all his efforts of the past month will all come to fruition this Sunday against Benjamin Atreyu. He urged all Team Science disciples to buy into the PPV- or better yet - cheer him to victory live from the stands. So, why not? Not only will we stand to benefit from his vast knowledge, The Scientist himself will have the inner satisfaction that there are many amongst the crowd that support and understand his cause.
Till we see you on Sunday, may wisdom and grace from our beloved leader dawn on you.

We have received information from a source in the WCF locker room regarding the Steel Cage match this Sunday involving Team Science and The Shadow Demons. The source, a professional wrestler on the lower card who chooses to remain anonymous, says that Doctor Remus Micayle has been extremely cautious about interference from the rest of The Shadows. He states that Micayle is particularly concerned about Oblivion's presence at the ring, given that the previous two times the two have squared off, The Scientist has come off on the losing end.
Our source states that Micayle has been covertly approaching several superstars in the WCF locker room, requesting them to provide backup in the event that an unexpected interference comes in from The Shadows once again. At this current point of time, the most likely superstars willing to keep an eye out for Team Science have been narrowed down to the following:
- Terry Roberts/Synn - Apocalypse - John Gable - Fat Dango
When contacted about this story, neither WCF nor Team Science could be reached to provide additional comments.
