When warriors prepare to go into battle, they have their own style of preparation. What works of some, doesn't work for others. We all have heard THAT one before. The closer the battle gets, the shorter time the warriors have to do anything else, but prepare. NO TIME FOR ANYTHING ELSE. Battles get bloody. People get hurt or even maimed. Limbs are lost. Warriors lose their lives. But, in an historical battle, especially this one coming up, there are more important things than blood and limbs.... PRIDE!! When there are two specific warriors that have faced off against one another many times, on the battlefield, they begin to know what the other one is thinking. They begin to anticipate what the other one is about to do, even before they do it. This next battle... WILL BE BLOODY!! That is for sure. Two warriors walk into the cage, but only one will walk out as a champion....
~._-*Right off of Interstate 694 and White Bear Avenue north in Minneapolis, Minnesota is Lakewood Park. Less than a mile away is the small night club, The Myth where the wrestling event XIII is being held. To the west of the park is Hanlo's Pond. It is the middle of the night and the moon shines in the first quarter phase. In the middle, of the park, is a wooden platform. On two sides, of the platform, across from each other, are sides of a cage, 15 foot high. Connecting across the tops of the sides of the cage is the top of the cage. On the outside left side, of the platform, looking through the side of the cage, is The Pet. Oblivion dressed in torn black jeans with a torn Oblivion t-shirt, with the sleeves torn off. Oblivion is standing on the platform looking through the cage, at the camera holding Pet. Oblivion is grasping onto the cage with IT's dirty, filthy, bloody gloved scared up hands...*-_.~
Oblivion: Tomorrow night at The Myth, a small night club that reminisces the early days of hardcore wrestling, will be holding the event XIII. That night Oblivion, The Monster of Madness, will be going up against Corey Black for the XIII Championship that shall be defended on every Friday the 13th. The championship will be fought inside a cage... a XIII style cage match like this one. Weapons will be everywhere and it was told that the weapons are encouraged to be used. As everyone should know by now, The Monster doesn't have to be encouraged to use weapons or use any kind of violence whatsoever. When this event was about to be announced, the anticipation around the WCF/EPPW locker room was maddening. But, when the rumor about the XIII Championship was swirling, everyone was questioning who was going to be involved and who was to fight for it. It was inevitable that Corey Black was going to be involved. But, who was going to face off against Corey Black at XIII? He could of selected anyone in WCF's locker room, WCF Alumni, anyone at all. But, Corey Black decided on the right decision and that was on The Monster Within.... Oblivion.
Everyone will be asking, is this a smart decision on Corey Black's part? Maybe, it is "Good for business" to have selected Oblivion, in this kind of match. Who else would of been a top draw for this kind of main event match... this kind of ultra violent kind of match. You have a half of a cage with a top on it and weapons will be used. It was a smart business decision to have selected Oblivion. Now, onto Corey Black himself. He goes by many names... Creeping Death and The Avenger, to name a couple. Corey Black perceives himself as an Asgardian. As a God, worshiped by the Norsemen. It is kinda of ironic, that The Monster Oblivion has to face off against an Asgardian-like opponent. It was just recently, that Oblivion defeated an Asgardian like Odin Balfore for the WCF Hardcore Championship. Now, one could say that if you beat one, then you can be another. Oblivion excels in a violent atmosphere. With a match that has a cage and weapons involved, again one could say this is a violent situation, that The Monster can and will excel in. Now, as everyone knows Corey Black can be a shifty individual who has many ideas up his crafty sleeve. How can Corey Black guarantee himself a victory at XIII?
Well, there have been rumors of masked men roaming around the halls and the backstage areas of every arena that WCF has been in. Maybe that's his guarantee to victory. Either way, with or without help, the outcome of the match will be the same... A blood soaked Corey Black looking up at the lights, with an also blood drenched Oblivion holding up the XIII Championship into the air, with a foot on top of Corey Black's chest. Black, you are a crafty veteran here in WCF and Oblivion is a violent madman with a never ending thirst for blood. This match will be one for the record books. With all of your years in WCF, will you be prepared for a match like this? You have been in many violent matches, but this not an ordinary kind of match and you are not just facing just an ordinary opponent and we are not just fighting for any ordinary kind of prize. We are fighting for a championship that will be fought and defended on every Friday the 13th. A very special championship. A championship that defines violence. Oblivion defines ultra violence.
The one question everyone will be dying to ask will NOT be "Who will win the XIII style cage match at XIII?" The question everyone will be curious to ask is "Will Corey Black survive the XIII style cage match against the The God of Hardcore Oblivion?" The answer to that question will be an emphatic NO!! Black should not worry about winning, he should just concentrate on just surviving and walking out in one piece. He's already had an Hall of Fame career, maybe this his way of giving it all up. Maybe he has had enough. Throwing himself to the carnivorous Monster of the WCF/EPPW is a great way to go. Corey Black is not the type to just walk away. That is why he handpicked Oblivion for this match. In this kind of violent match, a match that is NOT sanctioned by either WCF or EPPW, who will responsible for the body of the fallen Avenger? After this match, The Asgardian Corey Black won't have to worry about his career anymore. In fact, after this match....
~._-*Oblivion, standing against the side of the cage, grabbing it violently, shaking it vigorously, staring into the camera, Oblivion with a very methodical and calm way speaks...*-_.~
Oblivion: ....Corey Black won't have to worry about much of anything, any more. WCF/EPPW get a good look at the monster who will humble Corey Black at XIII.
[The camera just turns away from Oblivion and the scene fades to black....]
