The scene opens to the parking lot of Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York moments after the WCF Pay-Per-View, Revenge has gone off the air. The doors leading from the arena to the parking lot open and we see ‘The Punisher’ Matthew Robinson, his wife Stacy, Seifer Black Armstrong and his wife, Chelsea chatting amongst themselves.
Robinson: Dude, I had no idea you were here…when I saw Brandon thrown out onto the stage, the first thing that came to my head was that Stace had gotten free and beaten the bastard up!
Stacy: I wish I had done…
The four laugh a little as Robinson notices WCF Interviewer, Hank Brown waiting with a cameraman, Robinson nods at him before turning back to his wife and friends.
Robinson: Hey guys, I’ve got an interview to do, you go on ahead and I’ll catch up in a bit…
The three of them nod and begin heading in the opposite direction continuing the conversation as Robinson approaches Brown who checks to see if the camera is rolling.
Brown: Ladies and gentlemen, we have just come off the air of the Revenge Pay-Per-View and I am here with Matthew Robinson…tough loss out there for you Matthew, did you have much of a choice?
Robinson: Not really no…whenever I seemed to get the upper hand in the match, Brandon was threatening me, saying if I continued I’d never see my wife again…but the good news is I got Stacy back and that’s what matters…
Brown: You seemed to be in as much shock as the entire sold out Madison Square Garden was when your old friend, Seifer Black Armstrong came out to not only reveal he had freed Stacy but to also help you out in a beat down from Lionheart…
Robinson: Yeah I was because I never expected it, I mean he’d been in contact with me over the past few weeks saying he’d changed and wanted to get our friendship back on track after we had fallen out earlier this year but I never expected him to do what he did…but damn was I glad he did it…
Brown: The loss you suffered earlier was your fifth loss in a row meaning your current record is two wins to five losses…does this affect you mentally at all…going into matches?
Robinson: Things like that always have a psychological effect on people…many people hide the fact so they don’t look weak against their opponent…but at the same time…just because I’m on a five match losing streak…doesn’t mean it’ll continue and it certainly doesn’t mean I’m not cut out for this place and I’ll prove that in my next match…
Brown: Well speaking of your next match, you’ll have to wait an extra week before your next match as you haven’t been booked for the upcoming Slam, however your friend, Seifer is booked against Lionheart…
Robinson: Is that so…well I guess that even though I’m not booked…I can assure you that I will be at Slam this week…in Seifer’s corner…because trust me when I say this…my business with Lionheart is far from over!
Brown: Well, final question before you go…the next Pay-Per-View coming up is a huge WCF event entitled War…I’m sure you’ve read up about it and with this being your first War, I was hoping to get your thoughts on participating in it?
Robinson: Well for now, all I have to say is I’m feeling excited about it, it’ll be tough, I mean, all of the WCF Roster competes in the match so it’ll be interesting to say the least…but I’ll have more to say in regards to it when the time comes for the match to take place…
Brown: Well Matthew, thanks for your time…
Robinson: No problem…catch you later…
Robinson then pats Brown on the shoulder before turning around and walking away as the scene fades.
