My career is validated on the simple fact that I am consistently in the main event and consistently relevant ... you however, you need those titles don't you? I understand you're a bit challenged and slow but the fact is a fluke win means nothing and for the record, I never asked Bobby Cairo to join me, he asked to come and work with me and I felt it a good alliance because he is a respected legend and still is, despite your opinion. As some of you know, I am engaged in a nasty war of words on Twitter with some of EPPW’s higher-uppers over the booking of next month’s XIII. It is my belief that this unsanctioned Pay Per View does nothing more than dilute the product this company produces at the expense of assuaging the egos of a select group of EPPW superstars. Fourteen wrestlers, most of whom are title holders in the company, have decided to go traipsing off to some hole in the hall bar in Minnesota to appease a crowd of less than 500 (and of course, those dupes willing to fork over the money to watch the PPV). Why is this a bad thing? Well, dear reader, because of the timing of XIII (Friday, September 13) many, if not all of these superstars will be excused from fulfilling their contractual obligations at Sunday Night Slam, which, of course, occurs two days following.
This is shameful. Imagine you are a fan of EPPW, who bought his tickets to the event on 9/15 months in advance, waiting for the chance to see the best talent the company has to offer. Now imagine you get to the show and learn that you won’t be seeing Steve Orbit, or Polar Phantasm, or Sarah Twilight, because they’re too worn out from their appearance at XIII to compete!
It would break your heart, wouldn’t it?
That is why, with the blessing of EPPW Management, I am announcing that the September 15 Sunday Night Slam will have on its card not ONE, not TWO, but THREE matches where I will be a participant. Yes, you read that right: you will be getting a TRIPLE dose of the Lustrous One on that date. Who will I be facing? Well, I don’t make the card, but I assure you, with me involved, each of those matches will be more exciting, more action packed, more FLAWLESS than anything you’ll see at XIII.
This is my gift to you, EPPW Universe. For having to do without the “usual” maineventers on that night, I am giving you three times the normal dosage of Aaron Pearle. It is a noble thing I’m doing; especially since it will happen just two weeks before the grueling contest known as WAR. But with the circumstances as they are I really have no choice. EPPW needs me. You need me. And, as blessed as I am with talent, much is expected of me. Pearle 12:48.
So, in summary: hold off on tearing up those tickets or editing those DVRs. Aaron Pearle is coming to save the September 15 edition of Slam.
