Reports are coming in that a contract signing will be held in Reading, Pennsylvania today on July 12th, 2013 for the signing of EPPW’s newest acquisition and the first wrestler to be moved up from EPPW’s development federation, Penn State Wrestling Federation. EPPW.com caught up with EPPW owner, Eric Price, and he had this to say:
“EPPW is proud to have signed the first PSWF wrestler to the main EPPW roster. PSWF, headed by the legendary Hall of Famer, Gravedigger, has been putting on phenomenal shows for months now and we recently sat down and decided it was time to bring someone up from PSWF to see how the developmental federation was doing for our company. As the owner of EPPW, I would like to welcome John Barber to Eric Price Professional Wrestling and I wish him well as our newest star in our illustrious company.”
EPPW.com also caught up with the man responsible for running PSWF and EPPW’s current Chief Marketing Officer, Gravedigger. When asked what he thought of John Barber being signed, he had this to say:
“I know there had been rumors for months that current PSWF champion, Keynan Isara, was going to be the first PSWF wrestler to be moved up to the main roster, but after careful consideration and talks with Mr. Price, Mr. Isara, and Mr. Barber, we felt that it was the best decision to delay Keynan’s promotion. We felt that while Mr. Barber was a valuable member of the PSWF roster, he would be more beneficial to the overall EPPW company on the main roster.
I am proud to say that I have worked closely with John Barber these last few months and that he is more than ready to get a shot at the big leagues in our wonderful sport.”
When asked if John Barber would debut as a member of Bravado, Gravedigger had this to say:
“No, he will not. Mr. Barber will join EPPW just like the rest of the roster, at the bottom of the company and on his own. If Mr. Barber proves himself to be as valuable an asset to EPPW as myself and Mr. Price believe him to be, then he will be considered as a possible member of Bravado down the line.”
