Oscars? Thats just a show where money gets you where you need to be. Just a pat on the back between friends. If you're not In, you're not In.

This is what I mean. Differing ideas. SAW as a standalone film works for me (although 'Adam' got on my nerves a bit.) It's not perfect film making but it's intention and point is noble. Extending it works for you, not for me.
Either way it seems to have had an obvious impact on your life. I'm not going to ask why as I don't want to delve into personals but it seems to have mirrored the effect 'American Beauty' had on me. It's powerful nothingness of existence made me respect the nuances of life. Like I said, for me it took a doped up Kevin Spacey for you it took a sledgehammer blow.

I'm not debating the merits of Oscars with you.

That, and in the second movie, you figure out what is really going on with the whole thing. I had my doubts about how he could do all this stuff while being all fucked up with cancer. I now understand, and it makes everything fifty times better.

Well, I'll hold my reservations then. Either way, it is as Ace says all subjective.

Every movie i've ever seen has gave me a lesson, not only in life, but something to pertaining life. SAW did to me, what it did to about 4 million people.

It wouldn't be if you would sit down and pay attention to every last detail. You'll be surprised.

Yeah, but why would he want to watch a movie and debate about it, if he knows whats really going on in the story. I'm sure Blades can see the future too.

It won't be subjective? How? Does it have some sort of mind control installed within?
And American Beauty did to me what it did to countless others. Because Ace thinks Garden State is better doesn't mean I'm going to go on a verbal tirade about how he does treasure his life and fate.

Garden State isn't about treasuring life and fate. It's more about love.

I'm refering to American Beauty.

You'd only refer to American Beauty, if Ace doesn't like that movie. I don't know his opinion on AB. So, we have no arguement there.

I'm not even attempting to argue with you. I just said that I'm not a big fan of SAW even though it's admirable. Meanwhile, you out of this shock revelation concluded that I have some form of anti-social personality disorder, that I am completely flippant to human life, that I am the sole being who thinks SAW is average and that I only observe films out of some sort of autonomous need for debate.

Sounding smart isn't exactly helping the situation any. Watch me do it.
My name is Christopher Jeeves, and I am the smartest person alive.
Anyways, my main point is that ... if you haven't seen the entire franchise, then there is no way to slam it by saying it's "average". We haven't seen Saw III yet. There's no way to tell it'll own. By all means, most likely, it will, but it's impossible to tell.

I'm sorry I'll lower my vernacular so I can now acknowledge you on your level.
What I've effectively done is asked a child whether he prefers his blue teddy or red teddy and he answered with the former and I said I preferred the red teddy. He has than proceeded to whine and cry about how 'I'm a big poopiehead' because we don't share the same opinion.

... give me a little more credit than that.
Either way, you need to have played with the red teddy before you say anything about it.
For example, it's like trying to talk to Seth about sex. He has no fucking clue.

Even when he tries to tell me he knows how to swallow, I know god damn well he doesn't. He ALWAYS fuckin' spits. I know he does.. sure the room is dark, but sometimes I hear him spit it out and then he tells me he swallowed it down. Motherfuck that shit. What a bitch.

Have you all had your little whine and got all that belligerence out of your system, good now we can all agree that Garden State owns and i once again say that life would be a big pile of boring shite if we all agreed on everything now kiddies if you would kindly all shut the fock up and play nicely.

Trust me Ace, when I'm through with Ellis and the rest, you're going on the list, 'Batman and Robin is a good piece of filmmaking' boy.
