Following Slam, it has been reported that long time commentator Shannan Lerch is in serious condition following a horrific assault at the hands of the World Champion, Sarah Twilight. It has been reported that Shannan is scheduled to undergo a series of CT scans as well as an MRI to determine how serious her head injuries may be. Currently, it is confirmed that she does have a serious concussion as well as two fractured ribs. Shannan Lerch is not expected to return to her position anytime in the near future. This leaves EPPW without a color commentator for the foreseeable future.
When approached for comment, EPPW Chairman, Eric Price said that he would fill in for Shannan at the July 14th edition of Slam while the management team searches for a replacement commentator. Mr. Price was also very adamant that what occurred at Slam was completely unexpected by him, or anyone else in the management team. However, he continues to fully support the EPPW World Champion, regardless of her actions. More on this story as it develops.

Earlier today we received confirmation from EPPW Corporate offices that a replacement commentator has been hired to the company over the weekend. Erin Robbins (24) of Kentwood, Michigan was signed to a six month term with EPPW by CEO and Executive Vice President of Human Resources, Sarah Twilight. Robbins will replace Shannan Lerch as a color commentator on Slam throughout the term of her contract, which may or may not lead to further opportunities with the company. Robbins is a graduate of Michigan University with a major in Journalism. Previous employment records were not readily available. Robbins will begin providing commentary alongside Zach Davis starting on the July 21st edition of Slam. Her employment extends to late January 2014 at this time.
It is unclear if she (Robbins) will remain on commentary once Shannan Lerch returns. Also, at this point, we don't know if she (Lerch) will return after the horrific assault. Shannan Lerch is in stable condition at this time, but sources have informed us she still has a very long road ahead of her. Comments issued by those close to her indicate she does not have a desire to return to the commentary booth ... at least at this time. That may change in the future. For now, we welcome the newest addition to our live Slam team.
OOC Note: I will be putting up information for Erin Robbins sometime after tonight's Slam. This way you can get a feel for the personality etc. Right now, just know that Erin will be the heel leaning commentator, while Zach remains the face leaning commentator.
