Known Symptoms:
Substance abuse, Nymphomania, Sociopathic tendencies, Violent outbursts, Self mutilation, Co-dependency & Obsessive Compulsive tendencies.
Mental Health History:
Known alcoholic, confirmed to have minor nymphomaniac and sociopathic tendencies. However, Miss Valentine has been very astute in avoiding all therapies both personal and group.
Drugs currently being taken by the patient: Xanax.
Substance abuse history:
Miss Valentine is a known alcoholic and has had abuse issues with Cocaine and Heroine alongside her, now deceased, sister one Amelia Emelita Valentine. She was admitted to rehab in 1998 and again in 2000 and 2008. She has been a member of Alcoholics Anonymous since 2001, however her substance abuse in regard to alcohol is apparent. Miss Valentine does not seem to be taking any other substances and her drug screen was returned clear.
Medical History:
Miss Valentine was involved in a car accident as a small child, she had pins placed in both knees which were removed after 4 years of treatment. She has a remaining steel plate across her rib cage, which since admission we have learned was omitted from her application to her employers (Wrestling Championship Federation).
Socio-economic History:
Miss Valentine is currently in full employment as a "Wrestler" in the "Sports entertainment" industry under the company "Wrestling Championship Federation". During her time there has incurred no infractions and has had no issues with management or authority.
Miss Valentine's economic status is one to be envied by most. She is a silent partner within the Valentine Industries group and lives comfortably on funds provided by her family name.
Miss Valentine's only surviving immediate family is her father, Mr George Christopher Valentine and her "Brother" (Named as such as he was taken in as an unofficial foster child of the home during teenage years) Christopher Valentine.
When questioned on her family, Miss Valentine proves to be guarded and defensive, not willing to discuss relationships with any family members, nor her cultural background, which is in fact of a Hispanic nature, despite her insistence otherwise. - Proof of this would be the way she presents herself and her name.
Miss Valentines entire familial background is one of mental illness and substance abuse. Official reports state that Mrs Valentine (mother) was killed in said car accident, further investigation shows that Mrs Valentine (mother) was in fact under the influence of a substance during the accident and was not driving the vehicle. - Full information regarding this event is not available and, further to the fact, not something Miss Valentine is willing to discuss.
Mental Status Examination:
After observing Miss Valentine during her time here, it is apparent she has withdrawal from alcohol which is causing a heightened amount of violent outbursts. However, this seems to be detained by her own self control, which is in fact more powerful than her sense of manipulation.
She seems to be self aware and proud of the nymphatic tendencies, I would even put it to the case that Miss Valentine uses her sexual prowess as a show of power and pride, I do not believe this is a point of mental instability, and more a way to exert control.
The sociopathic tendencies originally mentioned appear to be a direct relation to the obsessive behavior. These are controlled and can be harnessed and pulled in with the right amount of therapy. I do not believe that either tendencies would result in Miss Valentine being a danger to others, or herself.
I have seen no evidence of self mutilation and do not believe this is a factor in Miss Valentine's case.
Whilst I do believe there are some instabilities in her mindset, I do not believe, at this time, detainment will be necessary.
Miss Valentine's biggest weakness appears to be her need to please. This is bought into play with the nymphatic tendencies but in fact goes much further. Her desire to please is so strong she appears incapable of processing any other actions. This has an affect on her of allowing her to obsess over the smallest detail, but ignore the bigger picture at hand.
Her need to please further proves that, at this time, she is a danger to no one.
Further Narrative:
Miss Valentine seems to be a high functioning sufferer of Obsessive Compulsive disorder and possible Nymphomania. She seems to be self-aware of her actions, her manipulation skills, whilst above the level of a normal person, are not something I feel she is using to cause harm to any others.
Miss Valentine is highly intelligent and is able to comprehend situations and manipulate them to her needs, but I do not believe this is an issue of mental stability, more one of upbringing that can be amended over time.
Going forward, I would suggest Miss Valentine be cleared for action at this time, however; I would request that Miss Valentine continue to see me for 3 hours a week every week for the foreseeable future.
Summary:
I present these findings to the court, as per their request for a full psychiatric evaluation.
