A WCF.com exclusive:
WCF.com managed to catch up with Spanish wrestler Morientes after the 14th April edition of Slam. Along with his Rebellion teammate John Gable, Morientes was involved earlier in the night in the top-rated WCF Tag Team Championships bout against Steve 'The Mack' Orbit and Waylon Cash. After a highly contested bout, a controversial twist occurred around the twentieth minute when Pantheon member Corey Black broke up Morientes's pin on Steve Orbit and arguably cost them the match. Understandably furious, Gable and Morientes were then ambushed by WCF Hall-Of-Famer Gravedigger and the former GM of Slam Davey Ortega.
Q: Morientes, what do you have to say about the match that occurred just now?
M: It was a great match, make no mistake about it. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The team formerly known as the Homegrown Players definitely showed why they deserve the belts. However Hank, you know just as well as anyone in the audience that Gable and I were robbed, no thanks to that culo Corey Black. We'll be back for the titles soon boys, make no mistake about it.
Q: What do you have to say about Corey Black?
M: I have nothing to say to him. Gable and I had no feudo and no enmity with the man, and all of a sudden, he decided to interfere in the match and cost us the titles. I have no idea what he was up to, but you can bet your arse that we are about to find out.
Q: Okay... and what about the attack by Gravedigger and Ortega?
M: Of everything, that pissed me off the most. A legend most certainly does not act like that and attack people out of nowhere. Just you wait Hank, we are out for venganza. Davey Ortega might just want to watch his back. Just saying.
An incensed Morientes refused to answer any further questions, and promised that the WCF Galaxy will hear more about the event next week on Slam.
