Rumors are going around that the 15% payroll increase has spurred the attention of Odin Balfore, who has been out on injury. WCF.com had caught up with WCF officials on the matter, to which they were unaware of Odins comments. WCF.com made an effort to contact Odin Balfore about a statement he made on his official Twitter " @thenordictank " and Odin had this to say:
" yah, that was just sumthin to get this trolls jumpin. I'm too much of a commodity, a necessary piece to the WCF to just up and give them my precious time for a bullshit 15% increase."
Sources close to Odin, AKA his manager Conrad managed to give a word to clarify Odins statements.
" Giving a man like Odin Balfore a measly 15% is like giving a homeless man a Canadian hay-penny."
It is also rumored that Odin Balfore is one of the top 3 highest paid WCF stars, excluding members of Pantheon who are in fact WCF officials and make their pay grade from WCF corporate and NOT under the same contractual guidelines as the ON AIR talent so it can only be speculated as to how much money Odin Balfore is scoffing at but some believe it to be in the tens to even hundreds of thousands of dollar range. Not to mention any bonuses or incentives he may receive that we currently do not have the specifications for.
At this point it is only known that he is enjoying his time off and will take his time resting up from his injury back in February. One thing is clear is that Odin isnt interested in returning to the ring any time soon for any reason, healthy or not and may be off WCF programing and travel dates for the foreseeable future.
