WCF reports say that John Thomas was suppose to make an appearance at the last Slam with an announcement about his career. Wenreports caught up with John he had this to say
So even though the Hardcore Redneck hasn't had much success here in WCF, he is leaving behind a career filled with multi title runs.
. "Due to the years of wear and tear on my body during my career, I feel that it's time for me to retire. Now this choice doesn't come easy. But early into my return,I re-injured my knee. Now a few weeks ago, I finally went to my doctor to get my knee checked out. And doctors said that if the damage to my knees are almost to the point of being unrepairable. So following my doctors orders, and for the sake of my kid, I am hanging up my boots. Now there is a chance that I will stick around to assist Justin. but as far as wrestling, that part of my career is over."
