News has broken tonight that WCF CEO Jonny Fly will be held off television indefinitely as the FBI conducts an investigation into allegations made by “Scoutmaster” Stuart Slane. The details on the allegations are cloudy at this point, but they earned immediate interest from the agency and have been categorized as ‘career burying’ by people close to “Scoutmaster” Slane. At this point all that is confirmed is that Fly was questioned thoroughly on Monday in Philadelphia before being allowed to return to his home in New York City this morning.
Forced to take action with their CEO under criminal investigation, the WCF Board of Directors held an emergency meeting today to discuss Fly’s status at company headquarters in Reading, Pennsylvania. Sources say a contingent of the board sought to remove Fly from his post as CEO for “conduct unbecoming of a representative of the company” less than two weeks after the position was created. However, for such an action to take place WCF bylaws require a majority vote of the Board of Directors, which wasn’t achieved.
In the meantime, the company announced this evening that Jonny Fly will not be appearing on television any time soon. With a federal investigation hanging over his head, Fly’s absence is being characterized as in the best interest of the entire company. If official charges are pressed his status would be reviewed again by the WCF Board of Directors at that time. For the foreseeable future it’s expected that Pantheon members Jay Price, Corey Black, and Skyler Striker will have larger roles in the day-to-day operations of the company.
