"Multiple sources that were backstage at Slam have sent in word that, following the cancellation of his Hardcore Title Match versus Roy Speede, Jay Price was in the backstage area when he received a phone call that caused him to run out of the arena and to his car. With much sadness we can now confirm that the call was from a family member and while we cannot say with certainty, it would appear as though someone close to Price has passed away.
We here at WCF.com would like to offer our sincerest of apologies to Mr. Price for his loss and hope that he can make it through the coming tough times.
