Hours after reporting Fly's intentions regarding Eric Price and the WCF World Title, Fly reached out to us for a small Q & A session. The transcript is below.
Q: How do you feel today?
A: Beat up. Everything hurts in my body, except my pride. I'm proud of my performance last night. I accomplished what I intended to.
Q: Do you have an update on the condition of Seth Lerch following your match?
A: Seth is not a contract wrestler nor part of the WCF administrative staff. Therefore, legally, it would be a violation of HIPPA laws for us to know his medical status. I don't really care anyway.
Q: We reported earlier today that your only business with Eric Price is retrieval of his WCF World Championship belt should he leave the company. Can you confirm that?
A: Price has a decision to make. He can do what he said he would, and leave, or he can stay and defend his title. He has a valid contract and its his prerogative if he wishes to continue with the WCF. He'll need to own up to his guarantee of leaving, but it's not like he has an 'honest' reputation to uphold. If he decides to leave, so be it. You're not going to see me shed any tears. I'll get our title back though, you can be sure of that.
Q: Price has come out and said he's going to be at Slam this week, and will have comments regarding you and others. Your response?
A: I honestly don't know if we should allow this. I suppose until he leaves I don't have any recourse. We may have to hear him out, and even witness live on Slam our World Champion walking out on us.
Q: How is Jeff Purse doing today?
A: Jeff is proud of his performance. He's disappointed, as we all would be, that he lost, but he knows he has a long career ahead of him. This won't be his last run as WCF World Champion.
Q: ...and Jay Price?
A: When Jay Price is ready he'll tell you how he feels himself.
Q: Is there any statement you want to make on upcoming changes or policies that you are going to initiate?
A: Not yet. All in due time. I'll keep everyone posted.
