Next week on Slam, 1/13, we are going to kick off the first edition of Slam in 2013 with yours truly, the new WCF World Champion in the ring for a victory celebration after a great match at One. It will be the beginning of a long title reign and I have some things I need to clarify now that One is over and the dust has settled! Sources have told WCF.com early Monday morning that Jonny Fly is prepared for Eric Price's eventual departure from the company, even in wake of his World Title victory over Jeff Purse last night. The source said they had spoke to someone close to Pantheon and that Fly is prepared to use all legal action and every dime to his name and in the WCF coffers to retrieve the World Title from Price upon departure.
"Fly could truly care less about Eric Price. He's not going to go after him for repayment of his signing bonus or breach of contract, he's simply going to get the WCF World Championship belt from him and wash his hands of the entire situation." The source also told us that he's not sure Fly is going to allow Price time on Slam, after all, he's only promised to leave at this point. Fly isn't keen on giving television time to someone who is about to walk out of his company, essentially kidnapping the World Title.
