Your Name: Marian (Before anyone asks, I'm a girl. My character is not.)
Your email: lithiniel@yahoo.com
Wrestler's name: Johnny Reb, "The Inveterate Confederate"
Gimmick: A true Son of the South. In other words, not a redneck; highly educated.
Backstory: Following the collapse of GWC, and forced to leave his escalating feud with former friend Doc Henry unresolved, Reb’s world has taken a turn for the worse. Attempts to reconcile with his estranged family have failed, and with his source of income gone, Johnny has become increasingly desperate. Against his agent’s advice, Johnny turned down invitations from a number of feds, finally entering into negotiations with WCF execs. In a later press statement, Reb is quoted as saying that he was looking for the “right showcase” for his “enormous (significant pause) …talent.”
Height/weight: 5'11" / 205 lbs
Hometown: Sweet Water, Alabama
Alignment (Face/heel/neutral): Face
Appearance/attire: Black tights with gold lettering down the outside of either leg. Right leg reads “Inveterate”, left leg reads “Confederate.” He wears a grey Confederate frock coat and officer’s low-crown slouch hat pulled low over his eyes. Outside of the ring, he tends to wear whatever’s comfortable, usually jeans and a t-shirt. If casual dress is inappropriate, he’ll wear a suit and a Southern-style string tie (like Colonel Sanders.)
Entrance and music (be descriptive):
The house lights dim, and the intro to Lynnyrd Skynnyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama" hits the speakers. Hushed anticipation falls over the crowd as a spotlight illuminates the stage. Johnny Reb steps out from behind the curtain. A cheer goes up from the audience at his appearance. As the he walks down the ramp, a cascade of sparks rains down on the stage. The Inveterate Confederate circles the ring, slapping hands with the fans at ringside. Johnny eschews the steps completely; he leaps onto the ring apron and climbs the turnbuckles, posing for the cheering crowd for a moment before he jumps down, ready for the match to begin.
Style (Technical, hardcore, brawler, powerhouse, etc.): High-flier/brawler -- aggressive
Favorite Moves (At least 5):
Confederate Cannonball (Frogsplash)
Double Axehandle
Diving Crossbody
Springboard Bulldog
Diving Fist Drop
Moonsault
Moonsault Leg Drop
Flying Neckbreaker
Diving Hurricanrana
Flying Clothesline
Corkscrew shooting star legdrop
Inverted Frankensteiner
Sunset flip
Corkscrew splash
Double knee lift
springboard arm drag
Catapult
Facebreaker DDT
Trademark move and description:
Saturday Night Special (Corkscrew shooting star DDT -- can be substituted as a finisher)
Southern Star (Shooting Star Senton)
Southern Cross (Cross Kneelock)
Sweet Water Sleeper (Snapmare into a Dragon Sleeper)
Southern Hospitality (Drop toe hold, followed by a Boston crab)
Finisher and description:
Southern Discomfort (Shooting star elbow drop)
Stars & Bars (submission) -- It starts out as an arm twist ropewalk chop. Instead of releasing the opponent after he drops from the top rope, he maintains his hold and turns it into a modified abdominal stretch.
