The scene opens up backstage with Hank Brown standing in front of the camera with a mic.
Hank Brown: Tonight's War XI had many surprises in store for those in the stands as well as those watching on TV and one of the biggest surprises of the night was the surprise War entry by the owner of WCF's development federation, Penn State Wrestling Federation...the Epitome of Hardcore himself, Gravedigger.
Gravedigger's music hit, the fans flipped out, and he walked down, climbed into the ring and immediately took out Corey Black with a massive clothesline form hell from behind. After hitting him with a Death Driver, he paused before grabbing Adam Young and placing him on top of Black for the 3 count.
Gravedigger was eliminated moments later when Bishop and Priest walked out together and delivered the infamous FingerPoke of Doom making it obvious that Gravedigger wasn't a serious contender for claiming his second War win.
Gravedigger was met at the gorilla position by several members of MS-13 who escorted him to the parking lot where his limo awaited them. I, Hank Brown, was able to get a quick moment with him on the cell phone about his involvement in War XI.
Hank Brown: So that was quite unexpected to see you out there tonight, Gravedigger. I understand that right before you were to come out, you were quickly seen backstage walking towards the gorilla position. Most thought you were just here to check things out as the owner of PSWF. Why exactly were you here tonight and was Zach Davis correct when he said you were here only to get revenge on Corey Black?
Gravedigger: It was that simple. Revenge on Corey Black. For the past few months, everyone has been familiar with Corey's constant surprise Burning Hammers on Doc Henry and the fact that Corey usually did this without being an active member of the WCF roster. A few months ago, I was the victim of one of these random Burning Hammers and I bode my time. Doing it at War XI was perfect. The icing on the cake was when the world title match didn't end the way everyone expected and the match turned into a world title match.
Not only did I make sure that Corey doesn't have a War win on his record, he was also denied the world title and the best part? Adam Young was nearby and I made the humiliation that much sweeter.
Hank Brown: Interesting. Will we see any more Gravedigger surprises in the future?
Gravedigger: There's no telling.
The scene fades.
