All men dream but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible.

September 30, 2012
War
The boys of Pantheon are located at Jeff Purses farm, out in the barn. Picking this location for the meeting because it was the closest to where they were all heading, and that was War. Each of them was to be in the War match, minus Jonny Fly. Of course, Fly did have the CHANCE to be in the War match if he were to lose the WCF World title, taking either Waylon Cash or FPV’s spot. So it was wise that they got together to meet up and talk about the night before heading out to War. Jonny Fly stood in front of the group, who are seated around the table, and bangs a gavel on the table to gain order of the meeting.
Johnny Reb: Where did you get a gavel?
Jonny Fly: I am a professional lawyer, Reb; of course I would have a gavel.
Johnny Reb: That...you aren’t a judge.
Jonny Fly: Don’t question me. Ok, it’s time for attendance. When I say your name, you say here. Jeff Purse.
Jeff Purse: Here
Jonny Fly: Jonny Fly…er…Here Corey Black.
Corey Black: Here
Jonny Fly: Polar Phantasm and Mrs. Polar Phantasm.
Polar Phantasm: Both of us are accounted for. Man, being married is awesome. We have so much sex now.
Jonny Fly: Don’t talk about how cool It is around Shannan, ok? Ok, let’s let this meeting come to a…hey wait a minute. Damn it Purse!
Jeff Purse:…what?
Jonny Fly: Where the hell is the coffee cake? You know it is mandatory that we have coffee cake.
Jeff Purse: Shit. I knew I forgot something. I will have Kari run out and get some…

From www.TheFutureBlog.com. My Journey Part 1 ‘First Professional Wrestling Match.’
Many of you know, because I talk about it and have mentioned it, that I got my professional wrestling start in an organization called American Championship Wrestling. When I signed with them, I was…well I was just so stoked, you know? It was the ACW, a big deal in its time, and I didn’t realize it was on the verge of disappearance. I had just started there, I thought everything was perfect. Of course I was wrong. But the first match I ever had there was actually quite a big match, it was at a pay per view, Mercury Rising.
It was one of their biggest pay per views of the year. I made my debut during that show, losing my first match. It was me verse a few other new guys, uh…Derryk Aires, Drew Stevenson, and David Caid. Three vet’s to wrestling, but three rookies to ACW. I of course was amongst the Rookie to ACW crowd, as well as the rookie to professional wrestling group. I was the underdog in the match…and I came THIS close to winning that match. Stevenson’s manager decided to poke his fat face into the match, ruining it for me.
But it was the first time I had ever been in the squared circle. There were emotions running around my mind. I didn’t know what I was going to do. I didn’t know if I would be able to last. I didn’t know if I would be able to keep up with everyone. I was very, very scared. Really. Of course I went out there and performed, and really fought, and really, really tried. I gave it my all. I came close, and I lost. What can I say? But the butterflies that I felt that night…they will never go away. I get them every time before a match…and the War match? Well it’s no different.

Pantheon Board Meeting.
There are plates out in front of all the guys. Crumbs laying around them, crumbs on their faces. It would seem that they got their coffee cakes. Now, full from the deliciousness that is coffee cake. Polar Phantasm and Nightmare have disappeared, Jonny Fly holds his gavel, Corey Black is sleeping, and Reb is working on a motherboard of sorts. Jeff has a small dustpan and broom, he is sweeping up all the left over crumbs. Jonny looks around, almost with disbelief…nobody seems to care about the meeting. He takes his gavel and bangs it on the table again…and again…and again. Corey Black wakes up, looking at Fly angrily.
Corey Black: Listen Fly, I love you, but if you bang that gavel one more time, I am going to give you a burning hammer.
Jonny Fly: Sorry Corey, I just want a little bit of order here. We have a huge night ahead of us, and there is no concentration, there is NOBODY paying attention.
Corey Black: Stop being a bitch.
Jeff Purse: Fly, we all know that the match is a big deal. But this is…well this is who we are. I clean, Corey is mean, Polar and Nightmare fuck. You are the leader, you do all of these things.
Jonny Fly: That doesn’t make sense.
?: Hello, friends, how are all of you doing?
In walks the wrong person, Wayne Newton. He comes in and walks right up to Jonny Fly, putting his hand on Fly’s back. Jonny cringes, but Wayne keeps his hand there anyway.
Wayne Newton: You know, I am a man of deep thought, Jonny. I know what it’s like to have a group of my friends ignore me purposely just like your friends are doing to you now. It’s like in my song, Daddy Don’t You Walk So Fast. The love between the two of us was dying
And it got so bad I knew I had to leave
But halfway down that highway when I turned around I saw
My little daughter running after me
Crying
Daddy, don't you walk so fast
Daddy, don't you walk so fast
Daddy, slow down some 'cause you're makin' me run
Daddy, don't you walk so fast
Do you understand what I am trying to say?
Jonny Fly looks Wayne up and down. He grabs his gavel, but before he can do anything, Corey Black gets up and grabs Wayne, giving him a Burning Hammer right on the board meeting table.
Jeff Purse: Jesus Corey, why did you do that?
Corey Black: He was annoying me.
Jonny Fly:…yeah I was going to smash him with the gavel…but…
Jeff Purse:…I was going to kick him.

From www.TheFutureBlog.com My Journey Part 2. ‘My First Singles Win.’
My first singles win left me with just…such a great taste in my mouth. And I when I say that, I don’t mean anything by it, Eric Price. I know you will comment on this and say Pantheon came in my mouth or some dumb shit like that you stupid piece of garbage dog shit. Anyway, it was my third match at ACW. My second match was a six man tag match that my team won, but it wasn’t the singles win I was looking for. My first singles win came against a guy named Ernie K.
See there had just been a faction that formed in ACW. Resident bad boy Kyle Travis began to gather people, David Caid and Ernie K, to help enforce his way of thinking. I was against this team, obviously, and the first person I took down in that faction was Ernie K. Ernie had a manager, a little bitch of a woman whose name actually eludes me right now. But I know that he and her where perfect for each other, they both really sucked. Heh.
He was a big guy, actually, this Ernie K. One of those big, beefy, steroids looking dudes. He had a downfall though, he was very slow. I was very fast. Sure, he…he kept comparing the match to a war. Funny, how that came full circle. But Ernie was a test for me, because he was a lot bigger than me. I had to, and did, prove that it didn’t matter how big you were, I could still beat you, even though I am small. I will always remember this match, though, because like I said, first singles win…what I really wanted…honestly.

Jonny Fly: How cool would it be if Wayne Newton was actually dead?
Jeff Purse: I am sorry, but NEITHER of those things seem to be good. AT ALL.

From www.TheFutureBlog.com. My Journey Part 3. ‘Nathan von Liebert’.
Nathan has actually been a driving force in my career, and upon first facing him in the ring, I never would have guessed that he was someone who would be so…prevalent in my career. From both of our roots at ACW to our starts here at WCF to where we are now in our careers, I never thought he would have such an impact on where I am now. And I hate to do this, I really do, but there is a bit of me that has to thank Nathan for what he has done for my career.
My first match with him was terrible. I wasn’t ready, I didn’t know what to expect. I was high off of a winning streak and thought that I could defeat anyone who came my way. Nathan though, he knocked me right off of my pedestal, making sure that I knew I wasn’t invincible. Nathan did that for me. In mine and Nathan’s second and final match in ACW, I learned that when Kari is in trouble, I could do anything.
Then the ACW closed, and Nathan and I came here, with Night Rider, and instantly started our careers here in WCF, my first few matches being against Nathan. He ended up beating me again. And I just couldn’t, no matter what I did I couldn’t get the best of Nathan. I really drove me though, because what I wanted to do was beat him.
Finally I had my chance. Defending the US title against him, and winning back my friends fiancée, Nightmare. After she was kidnapped by him, I had to get her back. Nathan took a hit that night, and didn’t recover I think. Because Kid, well, Polar and I made sure he couldn’t. We sent him right back to the asylum from which he came. It was quite special, really, because, I can honestly say I hate Nathan von Liebert. I hate him. But he is one of the forces that really drive my career. I have to give him the credit that he is due…he has been a force in the WCF…but at War, I will not let him get the win. I will be winning the War match, sorry Nathan.
See, I am not too worried about Nathan in the War match because I know that he has other things to worry about and watch out for then me. He got himself mixed up with Oblivion, which was stupid of him. For how evil Nathan may be, Oblivion is way, way worse. So yeah, I worry for Nathan’s psyche even more, but…hey birds of a feather, right? I will tell you this about War, I want to get the pin on Nathan…just for old times’ sake. Just for payback for him winning the One tournament last year.

Pantheon Board Meeting.
Jonny Fly, Jeff Purse, and Corey Black are now seen trying to drag Wayne Newton across the lawn, toward Jeff’s pit of foam. They had decided it was the best place to put him for now, since it was rather deep, and he was least likely to be found there. But the fact that he was a part of this murder got to Jeff, and he began acting differently.
Jeff Purse: Man, my first kill. I wonder how long I would get for this.
Jonny Fly: Nobody is going to jail, Jeff.
Jeff Purse: I will cut you brotha!
Corey Black: Oh boy. Here we go.
Jeff Purse: I am just saying that if I go in to the clink…I guess I would have to beat the shit out of the toughest guy there.
Jonny Fly: Have you ever been to jail, Jeff?
Jeff Purse: Of course I have, one time I tried to burn down my elementary school.
Corey Black: So they threw you in jail?
Jeff Purse: They had me VISIT a jail, to get scared straight. Seemed pretty doable to me though.
Jonny Fly: Well, I suppose if Seth can survive there, you could Jeff.
Corey Black: Do you know how dirty a jail is?
Jeff Purse:…yes…I could handle it.
Jonny Fly: Jeff, you couldn’t handle a dog sneezing in your general direction.
Jeff Purse: HE COULD GIVE ME A COLD!
Corey Black: Sure Jeff.

www.TheFutureBlog.com. My Journey Part 4, ‘The Tag Team Titles”
Nightrider and I really didn’t like each other at first. We had some fights in ACW, they carried over into the WCF, and Seth Lerch thought it was a good idea to bring back the Tag Team championships. We were in a match verse Adam Young and whoever he felt the need to team with then, and Roy Speede and Mr. FPV. Adam Young and random opponent were the ones pegged to lose, and they did. But Roy Speed and FPV were predicted to win this match. So Nightrider and I had a meeting.
We discussed our relationship, and our problems, and we signed a contract. Stating that we had to get along, or else we would be fined a heavy sum of money. This was ok, because I gained quite a good friend in Nightrider, and we won that match, becoming the new Tag Team Champions…the first Tag Team Champions of 2012. Roy Speede and FPV fell apart after that; I suppose losing to us really got to them. But anyway that’s when we won the titles.
We held them for a while, but the real big deal about it was that it really, really drove my career home. It showed me that I could be successful anywhere. I had originally always planned to be a singles competitor, but I wasn’t getting anywhere, and after winning the Tag Titles…well it taught me that I could do anything, and actually I think was the catalyst that really led me to the singles success I had in WCF.

Pantheon Meeting.
The guys now have Wayne Newton up on the bike ramp, his body laying on the edge of the foam pit, all three of them standing over him. Jeff looks up at the other two…
Jeff Purse: Well…does anyone want to say a few words?
Jonny Fly: Yeah…I can’t believe the day that Wayne Newton dies is here, and I was not the cause of it. I always wanted to kill this asshole, and it wasn’t me who did it…
Corey Black: He who hesitates is the moral of this story, Fly. I had to do what I had to do.
Jonny Fly: Yeah, I know. I am glad he is gone, I just…always thought it would be me who did it. That’s all.
Jeff Purse: You guys are crazy. Say something nice about the guy. He liked us.
Jonny Fly: No, he liked showing us up.
Corey Black: And being annoying. He really liked being annoying.
Jeff Purse: Whatever, let’s just push him in and get it over with, shall we.
Jonny Fly: You know, this reminds me of one time…well…never mind.
Corey Black wastes no time and rolls Wayne into the pit, jumping off the pit and walking toward the house.
Corey Black: I am tired, I am going to bed. Goodnight bitches.
Jonny and Jeff wave to Corey as he walks off, and look at each other. Not sure what to do about the fact they have a dead Wayne Newton in the foam pit…then begin to head back to the barn.

www.TheFutureBlog.com. My journey Part 5, ‘The United States Championship’.
Going into the United States Championship match, I was quite upset really. It was somewhat of a big match…myself, Hunter Valentyne and Ben…I don’t know how to spell his last name. He was the United States Champion at the time. But it didn’t get the hype I felt it deserved. It was fairly high on the card…but really it didnt have the umph that you would want a title match to have, you know? So honestly it felt too…too easy for me. There was no real build for it.
So that was disappointing. But after that was my first title defense. Against Nathan. I mentioned this before, but this one made me nervous. I was scared. I honestly didn’t think I had what it took to defeat Nathan and retain the title. But the hype for this match was placed on the fact that if I won, I got my buddies girl back. That is what the importance in this match was. There was no real emphasis put on the United States title itself. And it bugged me a little bit. I mean I was glad to help the Phantasm, I always will be, but the fact that THAT was what the focus was a little…a little much for me. Because it just…it seemed as though it wasn’t important that I held the title; until I had to defend it against Synn.
Defending the title against Synn was the first time the emphasis in the match was about the United States Title. Not only that, but the hype was there. Synn and I going back and forth on Twitter, just battling it out with words, really hyping up this match. Synn was a tough opponent too…I wouldn’t say the toughest, but he was no slouch. He brought it to the table, he brought everything he had. And though he says I am a coward, and that he ALMOST beat me, I can’t sit there and take that with a grain of salt. I destroyed him the US title, and just a note to him, I will again at War.
Gravedigger was by far the biggest challenge I have had since coming to the WCF up to that point. I requested the match, of course, and I wanted to make sure that without a shadow of a doubt, I was not to be taken lightly. That I was the real fucking deal. So I requested the match be Gravedigger’s specialty…a hardcore no DQ match. In fact, ever since starting in the WCF, I wanted that VERY match. So you can imagine getting the pin over him was just…awesome. It was. And shortly after that, Gravedigger took off. To stop wrestling, and decided to work behind the scenes. So good, I had a hand in retiring Gravedigger, I am sure. Heh.

Pantheon Meeting.
Jeff and Jonny are back in the barn, now sitting on the edge of the full scale WCF ring. Tired, a long night, Jeff turns to Fly.
Jeff Purse: Look Fly, I know that in the WCF, you are just about as new as I am. But to wrestling, man, you have been doing it for a while, right?
Jonny Fly: That is correct.
Jeff Purse: So let me ask you this, Fly…do you think I have a chance here?
Jonny Fly: Jeff you wouldn’t be in Pantheon if you didn’t have a chance.
Jeff Purse: I am talking about the War match, Fly. Do you think I have a chance to win this?
Jonny Fly:…yes Purse. Yes. I really think you do. If you can really dig deep and really channel what you need to do and do it, yes, you have a great chance at winning.
Jeff Purse: Why me Fly? I have to know. I have been guessing and theorizing as to why, but I just don’t get it. Why did you guys pick me?
Polar Phantasm: (Just walking into the room) I will field this one Fly. Because Jeff, you got the moxie we were looking for. You have the drive. You have the heart. You have the potential to do so well in this company. When we were forming Pantheon, we weren’t looking for just anyone. We were looking for the RIGHT person.
Jonny Fly: Polar and I both had the common denomination of being a rookie still in WCF. We wanted to keep the new class involved. We could have gone to Night Rider, or Nathan, or anyone…but we decided on you, Jeff. We decided on you because of the very reason you were able to defend the US title as well as you did. We picked you because of the very reason you were in the top three at Ultimate Showdown. Jeff I am a star in this company. Polar is already a staple here. You Jeff, you are the rising star. You are going places, and we wanted to be there with you when you did.
Polar: Its true Jeff. Shit you are one of the best people I know. I want to see you succeed.
Jeff: Thanks…thanks guys. Polar I hope you are ready for War, because I am coming strong, hehe.
The door flies open, and there stands Wayne Newton.
Wayne: Thanks for the nap guys, I am so refreshed, I think I am going to go run a marathon for aides.
Jeff Purse and Jonny Fly: I hate Wayne Newton.

www.TheFutureBlog.com. My Journey Part 6 ‘Final Thoughts’.
I don’t think I am the best. Not by far. There are so many people who have treaded this water before me who have accomplished more than me, who have gone further than me and have done more than me. Jonny Fly. Corey Black. Johnny Reb. Gravedigger. Logan. Jay Price. All of those names and MORE. Slickie T. Bobby Cairo. So many more men have walked this road and have done great, great things. I have been looking for a way to cement myself in the history of WCF. I have won three championships in under a year. Pretty damn good if I do say so myself.
A win at War would do that for me. It would really cement my spot in WCF history. Think about it for just a moment the day that Jeff Purse steps up and is the third person in history to win the War match. The biggest match in WCF history…amazing. The thought just makes me…giddy, if anything. And I really think that I can do this. I have faith in myself that this is something that I can do. That I can walk into that match and walk out the number one contender. And then go to One and become a Triple Crown champion in a year. I believe I have the skills to do that.
I have come far in a short amount of time. I have faced seemingly impossible odds. I have beaten some of the best. I have beat Oblivion, Corey Black, Mr. FPV, Roy Speede, Gravedigger, Synn, Odin Balfore, I have beaten some of the best that this company has to offer and I am not done yet. I have just begun. Can you believe that? I am just starting my career, and I in the minds and talks of fans everywhere. I have risen to the top of this organization in such a small amount of time, and I don’t plan to stop there.
Calling myself The Future may seem cliché. Sure. A lot of people do it. Jay Price. Me. Eric Price now is saying it, that fuck. That guy I started my career here with who is no longer around. And in other feds, I am sure a ton of other people call themselves The Future. But that is a name that I live by. That is a mantra that I will forever live by. I am The Future of this company, and I truly believe that. Jay Price let down the company, but not becoming the true future. Well don’t worry WCF, because I am the Future. I am The One, The Only, The Future of the WCF. I am Jeff Purse. And I am going to win War. I promise you that WCF, I promise you that.
