Hank: Odin, was it your plan from the start to get the number one seed?
Odin: I had to think of a way I could get the earliest entry as possible. With my name value and success from last year, I knew that I HAD to be in the last five, I'm not about that. That isnt WINNING WAR, thats just picking the scraps. To win WAR, you have to BE WAR. This year it's WAR BALFORE and thats not just a slogan to rally behind. It's a promise. I want the fear in everyone's mind that I'm going to be in the match every step of the way, hunting them, stalking them and crushing their dreams.
Hank: There is a lot of sturdy competition in this match, much more so then last year, how do you feel about that?
Odin: My toughest competition hank, is the man inside me. Last year wasn't difficult and this year is no different. It's a bunch of jobbers, weekend warriors and guys that spend more time toting someone else's flag or just arnt here half the time. Everyone wants to win war, EVERYBODY an only one person can do that. I can tell you right now it's not going to guy that only wants to try every once in a blue moon. They may think they have the shot and they easily dismiss my impact on the match but I'm dictating the pace of the match. I'm in complete control of this event and if someone wants to come out and put on their big boy pants and try really hard in this match and you can't blame him but - you can't just show up one week, do really well then go back to low carding for the rest of the year and still expect the respect earned by being that top level performer week in and week out. That just doesn't happen. It won't happen. Guys like Price, Purse, Tek, Speede.. great,wonderful. Fantastic for those guys but they arnt guys that have an impact on the WCF landscape. If that was in their power, they would have done it by now.
Guys that have been here a year, two years, six months, whenever- if they haven't made an impact yet on their own. The WAR match, this multi-man elimination match will not lend its self in a helpful way.
Hank: You have to agree though, that it would be a great thing.
Odin: It would be but it's a pipe dream. These matches are my specialty. I've won more battle royals in my career then anything else. My size may make me a target but thats the way I want it. When I can bench two, or three of guys at once when have of them can't even bench the weight of one of my legs- yah I call that an extreme advantage. When there are guys that have NEVER steped in the ring with me, thats another plus one for me. There are guys that hate me, hell practically everyone hates me for one legitimate reason or the other but when there are guys that hate me and they get blinded by it- thats another advantage for me.
Hank: But there is alot of sick guys in here that thrive off of that rage and it fuels them.
Odin: Really Hank? If you ask the roster that same question I guarantee that every hand will shoot up and they'll all convince you of that. They're all hardcore, they're sick, they like the fight. If that's the case then why is Roy Speede the hardcore champion? Sure, the Ultimate Showdown but no one can knock Speede off it? Is that the level of hardcore icons we got here in WCF? So hardcore that they can't even remove Speede from the title? It's a fuckin joke an it's an even bigger joke when guys with no claim to it or skill enough to back it up try and convince the world that they are something they obviously arn't. So lets talk about hardcore, lets talk about wen I was crushed by a soda machine and I pressed it off of me. Let's talk about how I can toss full kegs over a twenty foot wall. thats talk about that. Let's talk about something that matters because the low card tellin me to watch out isn't even on the list of relevant, let alone important.
Hank: What are you going to do when you win WAR XI ?
Odin: Thats a stupid question. I'm going to ONE with a garenteed title shot. hell Hank, I'm going to ONE for a world title shot reguardless. I don't need WAR XI to get it. WAR XI is just accolaids. You tack it up on the wall and it sits there, same with breaking out of this five or six man tie for most eliminations. When I WAR XI Hank, to answer you're question:
When I win WAR XI, I'm not stopping. I'm going to continue to drive forward like the Nordic Tank that I am and I'm going to round up every other belt in this company. War Winner, most war eliminations, grand slam champion, first ever Ultimate Showdown winner. Thats what comes out of this Hank. History but not just history by THEE history of WCF. The definitive top guy in WCF, period, end of story, don't even bother to try to top it because you can't.
There are alot of guys who think that they are hall of fame bound in their own mind but mine is as sure as the sun rise. I don't need a win - lose every other month to regain the world title to stay relivant because I've gone beyond that. I'm a living legend and people fear that. They're envious of that. They hate me for that. Everyone knows that it's as simple as "want" with me. It's going to happen, I'm going to get it because I'm the only indespencable guy on the roster. If I leave, there is no more WCF and the world knows it. If I left last year, you wouldnt have a job. If I didn't come back from injury in Febuary, this place would have melted away because there was no veteran star power. All the vets were just doing their thing and really didn't care about the world title picture.
Hank: But you didn't immediately go after the World title when you came back though uyou were offerd it.
Odin: You're right, because I'm smarter then that. I've been out playing everybody since I've came back. It's been culminating with this right here. for instence, what did I have to gain from Ultimate Shwdown? A third title, yah. we can all use another one of those or just one of those but I had no real gain. Yah, I could have won it twice and we all wanted to win but I'm still the first. I could walk out with a title I already had- great or a I could walk out with the hardcore and Hank ...
No one wants to walk out of The Ultimate Showdown with the hardcore title. So I started my little losing streak, everybody questioned me,I took my draw to FPV and now I'm starting the match. Wow Hank.. what a terrible turn of events. HA.HA. Then I whooped Steve Orbits ass for the fifth time, honestly i've lost count of how many times I've kicked that guy I the mush. Then I showed Hall how much of a stone cold loser he really is. I really don't care if he was gloating about his win over me or not. Hall I a nothing, a nobody and he will remain so so the rest of his life.
All I have to do if I ever really wanted a world title that bad his walk out to the ring, Smash Fly or whoever over my knee like a rag doll and rake the damn thing. I'm not in this for sloppy seconds though, I'm in it for history, for WAR BALFORE, for..

It's not just an event for the roster, its a guantlett for the roster. This IS war but not a cival war. I had already did that a year ago now it's just like when the spanish whiped out the aztecs or the miyas or mole people. What the fuck do I care, right? This is Me against them an I might be the only one on my side but WCF.. WCF is gravely out numbered and out matched in skill, experience in grit and drive.
Seth or who ever should hand one guy a gun and the next guy a clip, save money and time and who evers unfortunatly enough to shoot me with their little ball and cap round that they call an offensive manuveur- well, it'll be like japan meeting the nukes all over again. Each hand I throw will be like an atomic bomb going off in that ring. Each bott I lay down, stuffing into their face will be like an astroid smashing into the earth. Ragnarok will be the equivilant of the sun super nova'ing as it rattles the arena to its foundation.. and my shadow Hank.. my shadow is the black hole at the esge of the universe, slowly creeping closer until it comsumes all in its path with no hope of esacpe.
