(River of Dreams, Our new resolution)


“Anyone, help me….. wake me up!!!! I can’t do it! I can’t fight Oblivion….. He’s too strong!!”

“HAHAHAHAHA….. look at her! She’s a failure! So this is what they called Yuuko-san’s replacement as Rappapa’s leader?! *spits* She’s weak and pathetic!!” MajiJo no Teppen….. owari da (MajiJo’s top…. Has fallen)!!!”

As I lay there motionless, along with the screaming naysayers, I hear a disturbing voice...

Oblivion: That's right, Mariko, just lay there. Show everyone how truly pathetic you truly are!! You're nothing but a spineless little girl!! YOU ARE WORTHLESS AND WEAK!! IT should end you now and save your pathetic ego the humiliation of defeat!!

Sado: “Who’s that? No, I’m not a weakling!”

Oblivion: You are worse than a weakling!! You are a disease ridden insect, that needs to stepped on and squished!!

Johnny Reb: “Wake up, Sado! Don’t listen to them! Open your eyes!”

I slowly open my eyes. But, I look around, with a wild look in my eyes, expecting something bad to happen. I am in a wide room. All I can see is white as far as I can see and then there’s so many people in this place. It’s Yankee students in Majisuka High School, mocking me! Everyone is pointing and laughing. But, I see someone reaching out his hand. And I finally see who it is and it is the figure of Johnny Reb!

Reb: Wake up, Sado! Wake up, Sado!! You must wake up!! This is not the time for being lazy!

Sado: J-J-Johnny…. Reb!!!

Reb: This is your future, not mine! So the only one who can change it is only you!

Sado: Huh... w-what?!

I slowly give my hand to Reb and I slowly raise my body. But something seems to be wrong. I cannot move.

Sado: B-b-b-ut….. I cant…. Move my body….

I start to fall back and slowly give up, but something inside me makes me fight on. But, I hear this voice that makes want to fight on...

Reb: Listen, Sado! Next Sunday, your future is on the line!! Do you understand me?! YOUR FUTURE IS ON THE LINE!! How this will end is up to you. Will it be a bad outcome or good experience? It’s your call, Sado! If you want a good ending to this match, you will HAVE to struggle until the end of the match!! YOU MUST FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE!! But, I’m sure, this will not be the end for you!

Sado: Y-yes…. But, why?

Reb: Don’t ask why, Sado! You can answer all of your questions if you just follow your heart. Now, go get ‘em, babe!

I start to walk, with the mockery coming from the enemy Yankee gang. Just like Johnny Reb said, I have to keep walking. Then, at the end of the path, I see four girls, wearing the same jacket. YES!!! That’s The Four Heavenly Queens. Rappapa’s elite and they’re the strongest team below me. I look at first Shitennou, and then at Shibuya.

Shibuya: Oy, Sado! I’ll never liked you because you took my place as Rappapa leader....

Oblivion: HOLY CRAP!! If you are the leader of this pathetic group of girls, defeating you... WILL BE THAT MUCH EASIER!!

Sado twitches with disgust on her face. Not like what she just heard from The Monster. Shibuya looks at Sado with a confused look.

Shibuya: But I depend one thing to you now….. Torigoya is my friend, she’s one of us, right? So, it’s responsible for our leader to help one of us who needs help, right? Now, go beat that fat guy!

I move my sight to the most mysterious Shitennou, Black.

Black: ….our honor as a Yankee is on your shoulder, Sado! I depend on you, please don’t disappoint us!

Then I move to Gekikara, the psychotic Shitennou member. She laughs at me. and then….

Gekikara: Sado-san…… GAN-BA-TTE (Good Luck)!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

I smile at Gekikara, and lastly I moved to the last Shitennou. Yes, it’s Torigoya! Torigoya look at me sadistically but not long after that, She smiles!

Torigoya: Sado-san saikyou (Sado is the best)!! Please make my other self disappeared from my body, okay ?!

Sado: Yes, Torigoya! I’ll try to do my best…. For you guys!

I continue walking and suddenly I hear someone singing.

“yume no kawa wo (The river of dreams)
watatta fune ga (When the boat crossed)
shizuka ni kishi ni tsuku (Quietly reaches the shore)
yoake mae (Before dawn)
watashi kara saisho ni ippo (From my first step)
saki wo arukou (I will walk forward)”

I see a man walking towards me. yes, I know him.

Sado: Nezumi?

Kira: Sado!

I run at Kira and quickly hug him with my deepest love to him.

Kira: Sado, Sado! Stop it!! I can’t…. breathe!!

Sado: Ooh, sorry!

Kira: Can you hear it? I want to pass that “river of dreams” with you. Let’s keep moving to the future! Our better future! So, next Sunday will be our new step. Help me and Haruna! So, we can move forward and forget about all this!

Sado: But, Nezumi…. I can’t!

Kira: No, Mariko! you are just freaked out about Oblivion!! Don’t be scared! Just look around yourself!

I look around as Kira told me. And yes, everyone around me are smiling at me.

Kira: See, everyone that you know are smiling and keep supporting you. I will! I will always here….

Oblivion: But, will Kira be with you inside the ring, where it matters?! No... OF COURSE NOT!! You can have all of the support you want Mariko, but it's inside the ring where it all matters!! It will be just you and The God of Insanity!!

Kira point his finger at my chest.

Kira: …in your heart! Be a strong girl, Sado! I’ll always support you! I wait for you in our “River of Dream”!

Sado: Yes, Kira! I won’t lose that match! I won’t fear Oblivion!

Oblivion: Oh yes you do. IT knows you can hear it in your voice. If Oblivion can hear it and you can hear it... KIRA AND EVERYONE ELSE KNOWS THAT YOU ARE IN COMPLETE FEAR!! You are weak and afraid. No one can help you!! You are in way over your head, little girl!! Like the old American expression goes.... THERE IS NO WAY TO RUN AND NO WAY TO HIDE!! But, Oblivion DOES have one request for you Mariko... Just run!! Run away and save yourself! Prevent all of this!! Is this really worth the pain and suffering that is waiting for you?!

My eyes begin to swell up with tears, as I can see my hands trembling. Kira sees all of this. I repeat my last sentence...

Sado: Yes, Kira! I WON'T LOSE THAT MATCH! I DO NOT FEAR OBLIVION!

Kira: Good! That’s what I like to hear, Sado! I love you!

Kira hugs my body again. I feel eternal warmness in Kira’s hug. It feels like I’m getting stronger than before with powers from everyone supports me.

Oblivion: Isn't this really pathetic?! This makes Oblivion wanna puke...

Inside my mind, I see an image of Oblivion retching and puking up.

Oblivion: Live it up now, little girl. Embrace your loved ones now
and take in all of the love from all of your supporters. This will mean absolutely nothing... NOTHING!! NO-O-OTHI-I-I-ING!!

I can see on Kira’s back, Yuuko-san smiles and nods, showing that she proud of me. Yes, I’m sure, the hope is still on my side. I CAN DEFEAT OBLIVION!!! Then someone calling my name…

“Sado-san….. Sado-san?”

I wake up from my nightmare. I am still embracing Yuuko-san’s tombstone. And Showa wakes me up.

Showa: Sado-san? Are you alright?

Sado: Sh-Showa? Where am I?

Showa: You were sleeping…. In Yuuko-san’s tomb?

Sado: Huh? Showa? I had a nightmare….. I feel Oblivion’s dark power has been following me.

Showa: Sado-san…. I don’t know what you feel right now, but you have to be strong and always prepared for your next match. Don’t let any dark forces disturb your mind. Keep thinking positive, Sado-san!

Sado: Yes, Showa! Thank you…. Now, I have to see Kira.

Showa: No, Sado-san! I’m here to tell something. Minegishi-senpai said, they are going to prepare their flight to Philadelphia. They have a plan to take Haruna down. So, let’s go to America and prepare for your match.

Sado: yes, Showa!

Showa: Okay, let me drive your car. You’re not 100% fit today.

Oblivion: And you will be not 100% for our match either!! IT will go through you like a saw blade going through lumber. You will be shamed by your friends and your family for going down in defeat by not only a Yankee, but by an Insane Monster!! Oblivion will expose you for what you are Mariko... JUST A SCARED LITTLE GIRL ABOUT TO BE ANNIHILATED IN FRONT OF THOUSANDS!! And while you are healing and being bandaged up, YOUR ONE TRUE GOD will go into WAR and go forth by tossing out one Meatsack after another Meatsack!! While, your vision only concludes at our match. IT has bigger fish to fry and that is to win WAR!! Maybe, if you are lucky Sado, if you stay being a good little girl, maybe Oblivion will come by and visit and kiss your boo-boos.

I prepared my flight to Philly with Showa.

~._-*Meanwhile, in a dark and quiet room, Oblivion is sitting on the ground, with IT's legs crossed and IT's arms held outward. The God of Insanity has IT's ceremonial robe on. Two Gathering members are swinging a thurible. Incense is seeping out and surrounds around a sitting Oblivion. The rest of The Gathering and The Vixens are several feet away. Some are kneeling as some are sitting, chanting. The rest of the Church of the Dark Saints are off on their own adventures. Oblivion can still feel their auras surrounding The Monster.

There is a slight smirk across the face of Oblivion. the mouth of The Monster is slightly moving....

Oblivion: Yes... yes!! Cry Mariko... CRY!! Cry for Oblivion!! All that support will do you no good!! You can save those tears for after the match!! You will have plenty of reasons to cry about... AFTER THE MATCH!! Your body and your spirit will be broken!!

~._-*The aura, in the room changes, now that eternal connection breaks between Mariko Shinoda. The "Children" of Oblivion to pray and meditate, as Oblivion lifts up IT's head. The eyes of Oblivion glows a bright white. The Pet stands all kinds of nervous, as he continues to point the camera right in front of the entranced face of his Master. Oblivion slowly stands up as a small gust of wind passes through. IT's ceremonial robe waves in the air. The Dark One holds out IT's arms and with the head of Oblivion tilted back, The God of Insanity starts to convulse violently, while standing. With every muscle tensing up, Oblivion strains to move IT's head and look at the camera. The eyes glowing bright white, Oblivion thrusts out IT's tongue and sneers. IT's eyes flickers, as the some-what "normality" comes back to The Dark One, Oblivion looks into the camera...

Oblivion: WCF!! Brace yourselves!! You Meatsacks think you have solved the riddle that is Oblivion?! You are all wrong!! DEAD WRONG!! WAR was made for Oblivion. Despite what people will say or HA even think... THIS IS THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY... THE RIGHT TIME FOR THE GOD OF INSANITY TO TAKE IT'S RIGHTFUL SPOT AS THE HEAD OF WCF!! The momentum is right there. The chance is right there for Oblivion to pluck it out of the air!! The Church of the Dark Saints is up and running perfectly. We have a new church in Canada. We have plans to invade Mexico. We WILL have a stranglehold on North America!! But, for you pathetic worms and insects that is the WCF locker room.... OBLIVION IS COMING AFTER ALL OF YOU!! WCF is standing in IT's way of glorious wonder!! No one and IT means... NO ONE WILL BE STANDING IN IT'S WAY!! First destroy Mariko "Sado" Shinoda, then accomplish the hefty goal of winning WAR. Then finally, the crown jewel... THE WCF WORLD'S HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!!

But, until that day comes... before all that has to happen all you pathetic sacks of flesh can... just...

The Gathering: WCF... YOU ALL CAN JUST... CHOKE... ON... THAA-A-ATT-T-T!!

~._-*The Vixens stop their meditating and begin to embrace each other with furious intensity. as they scream out...

~._-*The Pet pans the camera back at Oblivion. The Monster looks down with intensity...

Oblivion: SADO!!! SA-A-ADO-O-O-O-O!! IT KNOWS YOU CAN HEAR OBLIVION!! Once you fly out to America, IT hopes you DO realize, once you step on American soil... YOU'RE NEVER GOING BACK HOME....!!

[Scene abruptly goes black...]

Sunday Afternoon, in a relaxing place, I try to meditate my mind, trying to clear my negative energy inside my head. Yes, I’m going to fight the most evil force in WCF so I have to stay focus and keep thinking positive. I can feel it, Oblivion try to destroy my mind again. But I can feel it either, everyone that supports me helps to fight Oblivion’s evil force inside my head. Thanks everyone! You make me feel stronger and feel ready to beat that so-called GOD!

Sado: This is it…. Tonight, I will make a history by destroying Church of the Dark Saints with my own hands! I don't care about that WAR match. i'll come to that ring tonight for one main objective. DEFEAT OBLIVION!!! Oblivion is causing too much trouble in WCF with that stupid cult. And one thing I can’t accept until now is making Haruna as a sacrifice for his power upgrade. No, Oblivion! You are doing it wrong! The powers come with everyone needs you.

I feel Oblivion talks in my mind.

Oblivion: What? No, Sado! You’re wrong! The power comes with IT’s own will and tonight you will witness IT’s great power.

But, I also hear Kira’s voice inside my head.

Kira: Don’t listen to him, Mariko! He just tries to make you scared. I’ll try to do my best to prevent his word inside your brains. All you have to do is stay focus. Think about our lovely memories, Sado! I’m sure you’ll be fine!

Sado: yes, Kira! I can hear you clearly. I try to think positively now. It’s not a hard thing to do. With this, Oblivion cannot enter my mind again. So, Oblivion! I’ve already prepared myself to face you one-on-one. Yes, just give me more of your stupid mind games to psyched me out because that won’t work starting now. I’ll fight your evil power with positive mind. That’s the only way to defeat you! And when this is over, all WCF fans can only see Church of the Dark Saints in the history book. And YOU CAN CHOKE ON THAT!!!

I swing my Kendama ball and it arranged right into the hole.

Sado: BITCH!!!

I slowly walks leaving the place. I’m sure I will have a good ending in this episode.

Sado: Nezumi, Yume no Kawa wa matteru yo! mukae ni kuru yo! (Wait for me in that river of dream, I’ll coming for you)
