A WCF camera crew recently caught up with Steve Orbit leaving a Church's Chicken in his hometown of Oakland, CA.
When asked about the Ultimate Showdown PPV as a whole...
"It was insane, yo. The energy and electricity inside of that arena, it was somethin' I never felt before. I think the industry, and the fans will remember Ultimate Showdown 2012 as one of the classics, one of the great shows in wrestling history."
When asked about the Ultimate Showdown match itself...
"It was the biggest match of my career at this point. I busted my ass to prepare for it, and it paid off. I think I had a great showing and it elevated me to the top tier of the WCF roster, I think all the doubt about Steve Orbit being for real is over with. I have arrived, y'all."
When asked if he was disappointed that he didn't win...
"I said it before, and I'll say it again-- just by being in the match, I already won. I'm a few months into my career and I'm part of the biggest match of the year? Sure, I wanted that World Title like everyone else did, but I'm happy with how I placed, yo. The United States title is prestigious, it's glorious, and I'ma bring it to a whole new level of greatness. So to answer the question, nah, I ain't disappointed. I'm happy with my performance."
Orbit then received a call on his cellphone and went on his way.
