WCF.com is reporting that Wrestling Championship Federation has come to terms on a new contract with former World Champion Chad Evans. Known alternately as "Chad Dogg" and "The Anarchist Killing Machine", Evans electrified WCF audiences with his unique combination of martial arts striking and high flying maneuvers after debuting with the company in December of 2008. Evans quickly became one of WCF's most popular stars and his rise to the top of WCF culminated with his World Title victory in March of 2010 against future Hall of Famer and arch-nemesis "Slickie T" Allen Guiliano.
Evans would relinquish the belt one month later in a violent and grueling encounter with masked challenger Hector Rodriguez, who would unmask following the match to reveal his true identity as Gravedigger. For Evans that night would prove to be a fateful one, as during the course of the match he suffered his second concussion in as many months, forcing him into an abrupt retirement that shocked the WCF community.
After being sidelined for nearly two years with post-concussion syndrome, Evans is finally healthy and ready to return to the ring. In addition to the contract announcement, WCF.com is reporting that Chad Evans will sit down with Hank Brown for an exclusive one-on-one interview this Sunday night on Slam, Chad's first appearance on WCF television since his injury!
