The scene comes on and it's Gravedigger sitting at a desk, the camera is apparently coming from a laptop sitting in front of Gravedigger since he's typing away at something just below your view. Apparently he is surfing the web as he records what he is saying.

I've come to understand that being in the hardcore division means one thing: dealing with crazy and psychotic people. One would say that to be in the hardcore division and to willingly want to be hit with weapons in every match and be bloodied requires you to be psychotic in the first place.
However, the people in WCF's hardcore division as of late have gone beyond the minimum requirements of what it takes to be in this division. Deranged lunatics like former champions Greenfever and Oblivion. People like the man I'm fighting tonight. Chris Avery, who is heavily believed to be Logan. However, I won't argue that as I said I would respect him and not accuse him of being someone else like everyone else is doing. I'm just simply pointing out the popular belief.
To be in the hardcore division long-term and to be good at it, you have to be off. You have to be crazy. I'm a little off and I'm a little crazy, but I just meet the minimum requirements. I am still quick witted. I am still quick on my feet. I can still process rational thought.
I don't eat my feces like Oblivion and Greenfever. I've heard the voices they've heard. I've embraced those voices. I have become one with them. I have embraced the darkness and come out the other end a better and more powerful person than I previously was.
People want to talk about how WCF has all these paper champions who don't defend their titles as much as they can. They want to talk about how these people are afraid to get their hands dirty. So this is one of the reasons why I talked to Seth about the Epitome of Hardcore series this month.
I have nothing to prove to anyone, but I"m going to do that anyway. I'm going to prove that I'm hardcore. I'm going to prove that I deserve to be in this division. And I'm going to prove once more like I did at One, that I deserve the hardcore title.
I'm going to prove these things, because of one reason: they allow me to inflict punishment and pain upon the people that get in the ring with me.
Some would think I'm going about this the wrong way and the correct way would be to put up the hardcore title against all challengers, but see the thing is I'm not going to do that. I have reasons for not doing so.
I will not sit here and defend the title against just anyone. The people who will get the shot will have to prove themselves worthy. Not just anyone will get a shot at the hardcore title. The ones that show they deserve it will be the ones that get that shot.
Chris Avery is the first opponent of mine in this series. Tonight at Slam, I will prove to everyone watching that he does not deserve a shot at the hardcore title. When I beat him mercilessly in the middle of the ring, it will be made clear that at Timebomb, I won't be defending my hardcore title against him.
Chris Avery, from the moment you first stepped foot here in WCF, you were never good enough to be in the ring with me. You have weaseled your way in to getting a match with me. You got lucky that you were allowed to even be in the same ring as me. Like I said before you are not on my level.
Avery, you will be in this hardcore match tonight, but you will not be getting near my hardcore title. Those of you in the lockerroom need to take notice because any one of you could be next. You could be my next victim.
Avery, while I have to admit that watching you talk to a serpent and fight zombies in preparation for our match is some of the most bizarre things I've seen on WCF television, none of those things will prepare you for what awaits you in the ring tonight.
I am on a quest to prove how hardcore I am. Tonight at Slam I will not be beaten by you, Chris Avery. You simply do not have what it takes to beat me in the ring, out of the ring, or anywhere in the general vicinity of a ring. I will have steel chairs, tables, kendo sticks, stop signs, trash cans, and all assortment of goodies to prove my point here tonight.
Tonight, I will bring pain and destruction upon your wearied psyche. You were told I will be fighting as if for my life and actually that's how I will be approaching every fight in this hardcore series. Each week up until the PPV, people will see me rise above every challenger and conquer them all, standing victorious each week so that at Timebomb I will ride that wave of momentum into my title defense.
Pride yourself in knowing that you will be the first victim. You said earlier in the week that I should feel the same towards being one of your victims on your rise to becoming the first black champion in WCF. However, you have it wrong and your lack of coherent thought becomes more apparent when you think I will be one who will help you with your quest.
What's actually going to happen, Mr. Avery, is that I will either temporarily hinder your quest or I will derail it altogether. Which one I do is completely up to how you handle your loss in the ring tonight.
Gravedigger reaches up and closes the laptop, cutting off the signal, causing the scene to fade to black.
