I finally have a day off from work. Something that I have deserved for a very long time. What am I gonna do with myself? I'm not staying at home to sit on my couch and watch re runs of I Love Lucy or The Brady Bunch. I want to go out and do something. I'm not staying in the boring lifeless place known as Pasco, Washington. Living there was dreadful. When you're driving along the ride at 10 PM at night, all you see are putrid drunks that are trying to hitch a ride for a mere blowjob. Is that what this country has become? I can put my thumb out in the middle of the street and a truck driver is going to pull over so I can drop to my knees and satisfy the poor excuse for a human being?
That's out of the question...
So what to do? What to do?
Should I be training for my People's Championship match for this Sunday at Payback? Would that be the smart thing to do? Maybe if I would have prepared just a little bit harder, I would be standing here as the brand new Television champion of the world but that just wasn't in the cards now, was it? The first time I had stepped in the ring in a few years and I almost toppled the hottest young performer this company has seen. I came within an eyelash of bringing an end to his winning streak and crushed any resemblence of a dream that he has. Though, a loss is a loss, now isn't? He's still champion and I'm not. He's going to defend his championship against another individual in a one-on-one competition. I'm heading in a different direction. Myself and four hungry craved monsters want to be crowned the People's Champion. Only one of us is going to bring home that championship. Only one is going to stand tall when all the smoke is cleared. Is it going to be yours truly Alex Bankmanship? Only time will tell.
So do the people want to see Alex Bankmanship spend some time in the gym training for his epic championship match? Do the people really concern me? Are they going to be the ones to help me walk out champion? Are they going to take my side? I could care less. If I want to head to the gym, I'm going to do it on my own accord. Lucky for you, I'm not going to waste my time lifting weights or running on the treadmill. Really, really, really, it's just a waste of my time.
THE PEOPLE CAN KISS MY ASS!!!
Oh, it's a lovely day. No longer inside my stuffy office all day, I can admire just how beautiful the day is. The sky is clear and that's not an ordinary day here in Seattle, Washington. Usually, the rain is pouring down and everybody will walk around with umbrellas looking like nutcases. You should enjoy the rain washing onto your body. It's the first time you've taken a shower since mankind was born. As I walk along the sidewalk, I see hundreds of people in the park. Some are playing basketball, some are skateboarding and others are crushing each other with hard hits playing football. For how long I've been a talent scout and agent for the Seattle Seahawks, I've never realized how violent the sport can be. I've heard of all the concussions and broken bones but I always thought that was due to unfortunate circumstances. I didn't think that certain individuals played the sport to maim the opposition. What a horrible way to play the game.
As I continued to watch the violence unfold, I noticed one of the younger children play the game. He seemed to be about three years younger than anybody else playing. He was on defense at the moment. The other team's Quarterback hiked the ball and dropped back into the pocket. He moved to his left, then to his right and then launched the ball about thirty yards down the field. There was a receiver wide open and he leaped in the air and made the reception. As soon as he did, the young child ran straight towards and almost made head to head contact with the tackle and planted him into the ground as hard as he could. The young child stood up and did the Clay Matthews pose and most of his teammates congratulated him on the huge hit. The other player laid on the ground holding his stomach and might be injured but the young children doesn't even notice, nor care.
Alex Bankmanship: WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT???
My temper flared up that almost the entire park heard my explosion. I walked into the room on a mission stomping my feet as I go. I slightly pushed one of the more elder kids out of the way and walked right up to the young child, who still has a huge smile on his face very proud of what he had just done.
Alex Bankmanship: Are you proud of yourself?
The young child didn't respond. Maybe he didn't hear me?
Alex Bankmanship: I said, are you proud of yourself?
Again, no response.
Alex Bankmanship: What if that happened to you?
The kid then looked up and had a huge smile.
Young Kid: Ha, would that ever be me? Not a chance.
Alex Bankmanship: Somewhere, you'll find someone just as dangerous as you are.
Young Kid: What? Do you want to play?
Alex Bankmanship: No, I couldn't. I don't like the violence. I don't like the blood. Just, what's the point?
Young Kid: The adredaline rush old man. The feel of knowing that you are dominant over somebody else. To know that they're scared of you and whatever you do, they're aiming to stay away from you.
Alex Bankmanship: What do you think just about the competition?
Young Kid: Competition is boring. To just compete, why bother? To just win, why care? To lay someone out and lay your claim as being the one that terrifies everybody else, that's the true nature of every single man walking this Earth.
A typical teenage boy who wants to show that he's a badass. He doesn't care about the win or loss. And yes, I know that it's only a pickup game here in the park but you should always care whether your team wins in the end. You can load up and lay the competition out but in the end if you're on the losing end of the stick, you're known as a loser. You walk down the street and they point at you, then have the L shape on your forehead laughing at you. That's the feeling I had when Jonny Fly did something I didn't think he could do that and that was defeat yours truly. I'm not well known but that didn't matter to me. I was going to make an impact and defeat Jonny Fly in the middle of the ring.
Sometimes plans don't work out that way. I'm not used to failed expectations and I'm going to show this kid what the true competition is all about. He's not gonna be worried about hurting his opponent. He's only going to drive a stake through their heart by hurting them where it hurts the most and that's the scoreboard. I talked to the young kid for a few minutes and he finally told me his name was Max. He was a mere thirteen years old. He was a tiny kid, about 4'8 and weighs 105 pounds. If you saw him in the middle of a pack, you would never be able to recognize him. You wouldn't even be able to see him. He's like mighty mouse though. Like they say, good things come in small packages and that was the case with this fireball.
As he walked through the door, he told me about his desire to join the football team. I told them that was a great idea and what he thought of winning a state championship? He simply laughed at me. He continued to tell me that he has never cared about winning or losing. He told me that it is better to look like you have won in the end than to have looked like you just got your ass kicked eventhough you had won on the scoreboard. I pondered that thought.
Alex Bankmanship: So you're telling me that if you were playing in the state championship game, your team just lost 23-20 but you laid out the star Quarterback, you would be proud of yourself?
Max: Hell yeah! And after I crushed him and put his ass on the ground, I would stand over him and tell him to never mess with me again.
Alex Bankmanship: You know he would be the one walking around with a state championship ring, something you would have never won.
Max: I would steal that ring from him when I got the chance.
Alex Bankmanship: You've got a lot to learn.
He wants to steal, he wants to hurt others, he doesn't care if either of those happened to him. I'm sure if somebody tried to steal from him, he would care. If somebody tried to hurt him, he would care also. Granted, he is still a young kid but if he keeps this path of life, I don't see a bright future.
Alex Bankmanship: I'll help you.
Is that the right move? To help a kid who really doesn't care if he rights his way? Maybe that is what the people want me to do? Is that enough to become the brand new People's champion? By helping this young kid to a righteous path, I would pull the victory out of my ass? I'd like to think so because then, I would help so many other unfortunate individuals that I see along the way. I would stop and give a cheeseburger to help a homeless man. I could even do better than that. Helping him find a job would even be better. Helping him find a place to take a shower would also be added to my list of helping a homeless man. Make new friends. Get a girlfriend and maybe one day, he'll get married and have the rest of his life to look forward. If I did, would I be the People's Champion for all eternity?
If that was the case and I would be people's champion until I decided to relinquish the championship belt, I still wouldn't help his cause. To tell you the truth, I don't care if I'm crowned the People's champion this Sunday at Slam. Switches the Clown, if you really want the belt, you can have it. The only reason I'm not going to lie down flat on my back on the canvas is because I'm not that kind of person. That would show poor sportsmanship. That would not show my competitiveness nature if I allowed that to happen. The championship belt means nothing to me. I'll take a dump on it once I win it.
Max: HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!
Max thinks that's kind of funny. I'm sure he would love that moment where I dropped my jeans and took a massive dump on something that I never wanted in the first place. I was granted this match because I had a great showing against the current Television champion Jonny Fly. I should have beat him and next time, I will. That's why instead of challenging for this piece of crap title, I SHOULD GET A REMATCH AGAINST JONNY FLY!!!!
No disrespect to Mr. FPV, Gage the Gannon, Switches the Clown or even that lunatic Chris Avery but this is not the competition that I want. You four are sure fine athletes that could become great in the future but you're just not on my level. When I came to this company, I knew there would be lesser athletes that couldn't dream of being near me. Did I think I would be down there with them? Hell no!!!
Alex Bankmanship: What shall we do?
Max: Let's burn the park down? Just kidding Mr. Bankmanship.
This kid worries me. We should settle him down before he actually decides to burn the park down. We'll head to my house and not in that pedophile way, you stupid bastards. No, he'll come to my house and we'll evaluate him. We'l see that really ticks him and what gets his blood boiling in his system. He's one of these people who might want to see yours truly as the People's champion.
Kids matter to me!
Because they are the future of this country!
And if one wants me to become People's champion, maybe the rest will too!
Then we can burn that son of a bitch right into the damn ground!
The kid and I are a lot a like in a way!
And that's a good thing!
Payback, payback, payback!
I don't want payback on my opponents this Sunday. I have no beef in them but they are in my way and they will be dealt with in a certain way!
The way I see fit to handle them!
No blood, no weapons, no pure violence!
Just by showing them WHO THE BETTER ATHLETE IS!
The scene then fades to black!
That's out of the question...
So what to do? What to do?
