* The scene opens to Odin Balfore dressed in a suit walking down WCF’s off shoot hall of fame wing in the WCF arena where all the records and hall of fame inductees are displayed for public viewing. At this time though, the hall is closed off to the public for remodeling. The areas down the hall of ahead of and behind Odin are draped off in drop cloths but those are just out of view as Odin strolls down the hall. *
Odin: Hall, I wanted to go peacefully after leading the new, more powerful roster against the established “ vets “ but due to scheduling conflicts and the fact that I owe WCF the match that I was contracted for, E.G. - you. That’s what brings me here today. I’m here at the WCF hall of fame public display because I want to show you and everyone here a point. I made new records in WCF. I have the most career ending matches in a single year: six to be exact. I have a two time undefeated streak in twenty eleven. I am arguably the most dominant wrestler in WCF history.
Now before I continue let me say that I respect you . You came out here, you’re doing your thing and Seth sticks his nose in your business. I respect you for standing up to yourself but there’s a few things that you said that struck me odd. You feel that you’re facing a main eventer because your awesome? No. Its because Seth wants to suppress you. Look at NVL for instance. The man hasn’t been up against a quality opponent yet. But you/ Gage Gannon is quality unseen in WCF in a long time. So that leads me to what you said about me, that you’ll be taking your frustrations out on me. What a better way, right? Well just look at the things I’ve accomplished in just over seven months of my career.
I get it though. Everyone wants to play the cool heel. Don’t pick a fight with the big dog in the yard because he’ll make you his bitch. Don’t pick a fight with me because I will most certainly make you my bitch. As for allies, well if I were to stick around, I might considerate it but I’m not. So all I can do right now Joel is tell you that you’ll get Odin Balfore, a very angry Odin Balfore. The Baddest Motha Fucka ever in WCF, Odin Balfore.
Why?
Because I owe it to you to go out there and break all the bones in your body. Its not a personal thing, its not a Seth thing.. Its just a: “ What I do. “ thing. Look left and look right, Hall. They’re making room for me over here. This is what dedication to the cause gets you. When I started, it was just me. Now there’s many, now there’s strength in numbers and not just strength in this one man. I held WCF at bay for along time on my own, now its up to you, Fly, Gannon, Night Rider. Yukon. Its all of you that have to continue where I left off. Sunday night though, it’ll be you and me- no Seth. There will be no Seth, Torture, Corey Black, nothing. I will have led the locker room to a into something more then a statement.
But us?
It’ll be as real as it can get. You’ll step into the ring with one of the greats that WCF has ever come across and will ever come across. Its you setting your sleights on Odin Balfore for the first and last time, both of which will end badly for you when I scoop you up and hit Ragnarok and leave you crumpled in that ring, clinging to life because that just how I roll.. My hall of fame induction, my walking out of WCF with my head held high.. Your defeat, its inevitable.
So I have spoken, so it shall come to pass.
