The scene opens up in the airport…the Philadelphia International Airport to be more exact. Gravedigger and Adrian are walking through the airport, carry-on bags on their shoulders with one of Gravedigger’s women, JJ, following closely behind. She is carrying her own bag.
Gravedigger glances down at his phone for a few seconds, grinning and then slides it back into his pocket. Adrian looks over.
Adrian: Who was it?
Gravedigger glances at Adrian, smirking.
Gravedigger: Who do you think it was?
JJ: Why are you dodging his calls? Just answer and see what he wants or at least call him back.
Gravedigger rolls his eyes.
Gravedigger: We have One, the biggest WCF PPV coming up, I do not have time to talk to him or anyone else right now. I have too much to focus on. He can wait until Monday morning and I’ll call him then.
JJ sighs and rolls her eyes.
Gravedigger laughs softly as he rounds the corner and sees all the limo drivers for some of the bigger WCF stars. He walks up to the man holding the sign that says Odin Balfore and grabs the sign, tossing it to the ground. The limo driver starts to protest, but Adrian jumps at him and the guy backs off. The man holding the ‘Gravedigger’ sign waves towards Gravedigger. He walks up and just as he reaches to ask for the bags, Gravedigger and Adrian are already tossing them at him. JJ puts her bag on the top and the three MS-13 members follow the driver out to their awaiting limo.
The driver opens the trunk to his limo and places the carry-on bags in it before closing it. He walks around and opens the door as Gravedigger, Adrian, and JJ all three climb inside. The driver walks around to the driver’s side door, gets in, starts up and the car and pulls away into the airport terminal traffic.
Inside the limo, Adrian starts messing around in the mini bar. Gravedigger sighs as he looks at the camera.
Gravedigger
One, the biggest WCF pay-per-view of the year. Where it all comes down, as was pointed out in Corey Black’s latest promo, to that moment at One. Although the true ‘One moment’ is reserved for those in the main event, each person technically still has their own ‘One moment’ to have as well. For all the years I’ve been in WCF, this is only my third One appearance. Two years ago, as Hector Rodriguez, I lost to Greenfever during his long reign as Hardcore champion. Last year’s One…or rather the last time WCF hosted One at the end of 2010, I faced Jay Price for the first time as Gravedigger. I defeated him. So as of now, at the biggest pay-per-view in WCF, I am 1-1. After tonight’s match with Ryan Blake, I will become 2-1. I will redeem my hardcore title match from two years ago. It won’t be the same kind of redemption since I’m not facing Greenfever himself, but all the same, I will prove that I am the hardcore champion and that I deserve the belt.
My nickname for many years has been the Epitome of Hardcore, but it was given to me due to my hardcore escapades in other companies, not here in WCF. The nickname just traveled with me and as long as I have this title and want to hold onto it, I will live up to that name every time Seth puts me in a hardcore match. At One, I truly begin my reign as WCF Hardcore champion. At One, MS-13 will begin our dominance of WCF. Tonight will be a night to remember for WCF as MS-13’s stranglehold begins on WCF. Right now, it’s just a one-handed stranglehold, soon the other hand will clamp around the neck of WCF and we will start to squeeze the life out of it.
I am not one to make empty threats. I am not one to make threats that I will not live up to. Anyone that doubts me can look at my record. Anyone who doubts me can watch as I stand victorious in the ring tonight against Ryan Blake. Like I said the other day, Ryan Blake, you’re going to be just another victim in MS-13’s takeover of WCF. You are known as “The Hero”, “The Perfectionist”. How can you call yourself “The Perfectionist” when you have losses on your record? Are you known as “The Perfectionist” because no matter if you win or if you lose, you do it perfectly? Also, what are you the Hero of? Sandwiches? Getting high? What is it? Ryan Blake, you are not even on MY LEVEL. I said the other day that you should just not even bother showing up to the arena. It’ll be like that time two years ago when in my first match as Hector Rodriguez, I walked out to the ring awaiting my opponent, former World Champion JJ Biggs, to come out to the ring. What did he do? He was a coward and he no-showed. He didn’t even show up to the building.
That’s what you should do Ryan Blake. You should pull what will now be known as a “JJ Biggs” and not even show up. You should be a coward and not even show up to the arena tonight. I know what some people may be thinking. “Gravedigger, how can you have your One moment you were talking about earlier if your opponent doesn’t show up? You’re standing out there in the ring with your hardcore title around your waist and you don’t even get to have a match!” Well you know what? Standing out there in the ring and seeing the announcer get on the microphone and announcing to not only me, but the crowd in attendance and those of you watching at home that my opponent was too much of a coward to show up is a real One moment for me.
I’m starting to think it may even happen because no one has even heard from you, Ryan Blake. You haven’t even cut a single promo all week. You’ve not made a single appearance on WCF TV. Look, you can pull a “JJ Biggs” and no-show or you can come to the arena, walk down the ramp and climb into the ring like a man. You can come down there for a few minutes and just chill and think about how epic it is being part of One while I whoop your ass from ringpost to ringpost. While I break kendo sticks over your back, dent chairs over your skull, dent up trashcans as I toss you on top of them.
Then when there’s so more garbage and carnage than a Bobby Cairo and Logan circle-jerk, I will put you out of your misery. I will walk up to you, put my arm around you and take you South of the Border for the three count. WCF, MS-13 grows stronger tonight.
The scene fades to black.
