Bearly twenty four hours removed from WCF's Helloween Pay Per View, WCF internet collumists caught up with the new WCF champion, Odn Balfore to get his thoughts and comments on the Pay Per View in this shoot interview.
WCF: Odin, what did you think about the show?
Odin: I thought it was a really good show. One of the best we've had in a long time. There was alot of solid matches an I think the fans really got their moneys worth.
WCF: Did you watch the show in the back or were you busy handling things for your match?
Odin: Yea, I watched the show. There was alot to go over too for the main event but I watched as much as I could.
WCF: Favorite match?
Odin: Uh, that would have to be D-Day and Blake. They can really put on a good entertaining match. They had a great finish too. I mean, it was too bad for Blake but what ya' gonna do ?
WCF: Right, Rght. What about the end of the show when we found out who " HE" was; did you know before hand?
Odin: No an I don't think anyone really knew. You saw my face, you can go back on the tape and look. I was not expecting who " HE " was. It was very surprizing on my end but it made for great TV. The fans got their monies worth if only for the end of the night.
WCF: Well, folks if you don't know then he is we suggest you stop reading this interview now because there are spoilers a foot. So we'll give you a minute to scroll up because here it comes. Odin, what do you think about Corey Black returning?
Odin: I think its great. Last I talked about him, I told him I'd be waiting with the title. Honestly, I just didnt expect him to come back so soon.
WCF: Thats odd too because when WCF started back up under Seths hand a few months back, Corey was shown pretty much leaving WCF- Saying that he wouldnt be back under Seths rule.
Odin: I don't know how much of that was " Creeping Death " or Corey Black or any of his other persona's but he obviously changed his mind.
WCF: Do you think its good or bad for business?
Odin: How can it be bad? Theres another nut in WCF, the fans either get to see me get my ass whooped by CD after I nearly powerbombed him out of exsistence or I do what I did to him again from a few months ago. Either way it'll be very exceiting an I'm glad to be apart of it.
WCF: Any hatred towards him?
Odin: Now thats hard to say. I can't knock the guy for trying to keep the promotion going when it was essentially dumped on his lap an he did put the belt on me in the first place but theres something about how he does things that gets under my skin. I guess maybe from all the years that i've been screwed over by various promotions I feel the need to look out for myself and protect what happens to me as a proformer. So I can't hate him for that but in that ring was something very real. I think that we saw each other as a challenge an that challenge had to be dealt with. Its more of our styles clashing on how we precieve things then anything else an thats going to make for some really good TV. So do I hate the guy, no but in that ring don't think i'm going to let a challenge slip by.
WCF: What about Reb?
Odin: I ain't got nothin against him. I think he was right guy in the wrong place at the right time. He's done alot an I'm not going to take away from him but the fans want something new. There will be a time when I'm not that something but at the moment I am. I guess Reb, like D-Day, had to be that transition. Theres nothing wrong with it- it sucks, I know that much; no one wants to be that guy but someone has to be. Am I sorry it was him, no. If he can't face that by now after all this time then he needs to grow a pair of balls an some tougher skin because thats business.
WCF: Seth?
Odin: My thoughts havent changed. He an CD can twist the stories all they want but I know for a fact that Seth will put CD in my way because he doesnt want me where I am but he knows theres money to be made from me an you ain't gonna draw more money then a Balfore, Black fued.
WCF: Thoughts on your time here?
Odin: Greatful, fortunate. I could not be the main guy right now but I am. I think they see my marketability an the carious things that I can do. Being established certainly helps, I know that much. I've had one be rocket trip to the top an i'm hopin not to crash down to earth haha.
WCF: What are you looking forward to?
Odin: The end of the year. I'm curious to see if I'll still have the gold an what I'll be doing an how tha plays out into two thousand twelve. I know that " one " is comming up, forgive me if I don't know how soon. It'll be my first an I'm not sure what it entails but to what I've heard its a tournament. Maybe I'll be in it, maybe I'll be defending the belt.. who knows but thats what I'm looking forward too.
WCF: Well thanks Odin for this interview. Anything else you wana tell your fans before we go?
Odin: Just keep watchin- keep cheerin, keep boo'ing.. keep supporting the WCF. To all Maverick's out there, my BMF'ers out there- we know what we are, why we've come- don't be afraaid to show up to the events and show that. Right now we may be few and my hardcore fans know that but you arn't afraid to mix it up for me- so I ask everyone to do the same because if yuo arn't a fan yet. you soon will be.
WCF: Thanks Odin, thats all we have time fore- thank you WCF for reading.
