Pregnant, oh my God. What the hell was I suppose to do? What the hell was Mike suppose to do if it was his? This information was too much and it couldn't have come at a worse time. But I tried to keep my cool. I wasn't upset that she was pregnant by no means, but I was upset that she didn't tell me when she first found out. I sighed to myself and leaned back onto the bench.}[\color]
Trent: "Why didn't you tell me this earlier?"
Torrie: "Because I wanted nothing to stand in your way of defeating Knox. I know how badly you want to win. I thought if I told you it would have thrown you off. God, I shouldn't of said anything but it was tearing me apart inside."
Trent: "Look, I am a little upset that you chose now when I am facing Knox but I'm glad you told me. We'll just have to deal with it."
Torrie: "I don't know what to do Trent. I really don't. I don't think the four of us are capable of raising a baby. And what if Mike and Marie decide to leave over this?"
Trent: "Look nothing like that is going to happen. We'll deal with it in the next serveral weeks. Until then let's be cool about it. You're right, I have to think about my match with Knox."
Torrie: "Please beat him Trent. After all the awful things he's done and all the awful things he's said he needs to be beaten. He needs to be beaten like a bad dog or something."
Trent: "Don't worry Torrie. I'm going to be successful. But you sit here for a little bit and let me take a walk to clear my head okay?"
Torrie: "Okay, I think I need to clear mine too."
{I leaned over and kissed her gently on the lips. I pulled myself off the bench and started walking away from her. As I walked my mind floated to and fro various topics. I thought about Torrie and the baby and I thought about the state of my life. But soon enough the thought of Knox crept in and I felt my stomach turn and I wanted to puke.}
Trent: "Knox, let's take a little history lesson since you are so interested in history. The first time I met you I beat you like you were nothing. I was the better man that night. Hell, I still am the better man. When I compared myself to a caged tiger you did the same. Why I don't know. Because everyone knows you are far from being a caged tiger my friend. But you copied me and in essence the point was made. But it took me bringing it up first before you could even image a metaphor like that. What does that say about you?"
"You are so dead set on beating me in this match you have said so every time you have opened your mouth. Let's just say you do by some miracle from God you do beat me in this match what makes you think I won't make your life living hell? I won't be intimidated and I won't hide from anything or anyone. At the zoo when you blantly mistreated the tiger you should have been arrested but you paid off the officer. Such typical Knox behavior."
{Trent reaches into his pocket and pulls out a package of cigarettes. He lits one up and smokes for a few seconds.}
Trent: "So after your little stunt at the zoo you went to your dark place as you put it and rocked back and forth in a straight jacket thinking you were going to scare me. Thinking you were going to throw me off A game. You conducted an interview from a mental insitutiton and if it was up to me they would have kept your sick ass because believe me, you need to be there. You say with your money you had people watchiing me all over the place. Everywhere I went. Well, that's fine. I'm not intimidated with that. You can watch all you want. Watch what a real wrestler is all about. Watch how a real wrestler conducts himself. Watch what a future champion is going to look like. I can many reason you would want to watch me. But then it all came down to it just being a mind game with me. You went into the insititution just to play mind games with me. Sorry my friend but they didn't work because I'm still standing and in complete control of my mind."
"Then you took my light house metaphor and just because you didn't understand decided to blow up the light house. Well I appauled you my man. You've just shown everyone what a full blown jackass you are. Then you stepped into my world and thought you would fit into the gay and bisexual world without any trouble whatsoever. You go to one gay bar and start a massive fight. I go to a gay bar and have people attracted to me from all over the place. How did it feel to be gay just for a brief moment? Is it something you would want to try in the future? Well don't be come knocking on my door my friend because that is one issue I can't help you with."
{Trent finishes his cigarette and tosses it to the ground, crushing it with his foot.}
Trent: "Then you took the low road and started to threaten my friends and thought that you would get into my mind and stir it up like a pot of stew. Yet again you were wrong. You're little joke about Torrie wasn't funny but disgusting my man and you impressed no one. Oh and believe me, no one is impressed that you have your own private jet. That just shows how much of a jerk you are."
"You get put in jail and I don't know exactly what happened in there but that could have changed your entire outlook on life for the rest of your life. You could have met the love of your life there but then again you could of been used as jail bait. I doubt it though. But your little lawyer got you out of trouble like a mother would get a child out of trouble at an elementary school. You're pathetic. So you thought it would be a good idea to call Stinger and apologize for my little prank. Man you have no sense of humor. But yet again you copied me because you have nothing orginial to say. You only ride the coattails my man but that is soon to change. Once I'm done with you at Ten then you will be someone else's problem."
{I continued my walk with my head down. A million thoughts were rushing through my mind.}
Trent: "Then you went to church to pray for me. I'm truly touched. I didn't think you had a decent bone in your entire body but you do. Don't worry about the situation between Torrie and I. That will work itself out all by itself with no help from you. We don't need to go onto any show because we know who the father is. You see I am committed to my friends just like they are committed to me. Knox you are full of bullshit and you are the first person to know it. You blah, blah, blah, about the same thing time and time again. Don't think no one hasn't noticed."
"Come Ten I'm going to become a new man. You see, I won't be the competitor that faced you before and beat you before but I will be something even better. If you couldn't beat me before how the hell do you expect to beat me now? You aren't going to do anything to Torrie and you aren't going to hurt me. It's going to be th other way around. Tonight at Ten we shall see who the better man is and believe me when I say Knox, your chances are looking pretty damn slim."
{I slowly made my way back to where Torrie was sitting waiting for me. I looked down at her and noticed she had been crying. I put a hand on her shoulder to reassure her that everything was going to be alright.}
Trent: "You sure you still want to come with me tonight?"
Torrie: "Yes. I don't care what he says."
Trent: "Torrie, it's going to be alright."
Torrie: "I know. And I know you're going to win tonight."
{We smiled at each other and I helped her off the bench. Hand in hand we headed back to the car as the scene faded out.}
Trent: "Why didn't you tell me this earlier?"
