The video cuts on in a limo. Seated in the limo are Hector Rodriguez and his temporary manager, Don Bradley. They are both seated across from each other and are watching a video panel hanging down from the middle of the limo. On the camera is a WCF studio with Hank Brown seated behind a desk.
Hank Brown
Mr. Bradley, Hector, I want to thank both of you for giving me some time tonight to address a few things that are the talk among the boys in the back and the fans in the crowd.
Don Bradley
Well, go ahead and shoot, Hank.
Hank Brown
It seems like for the most part, Tank Reaper is the only man really concerned about Hector's participation in the match and seems to be the only one giving him a second thought. What exactly do you have to say about that?
Don Bradley
Well, Hank, that doesn't really seem to surprise us nor does it bother us. Of course Tank would see this as something to give thought to and some attention, because he knows that Hector is the only man in the match that poses as much of a physical threat in the match as he does. He knows that the physical showdown and confrontation with Hector will happen. He's decided to try and get the psychological advantage over Hector by threatening to crush him and demask him. Out of all of the men in this match that are facing Hector, I would say this man has to be one of the smartest of the bunch. He not only threatens physical harm, but also threatens mental harm as well. To demask Hector would be to strip him of his pride and humiliate him.
Many men have tried it before in matches with Hector. I promise that the day any of the WCF wrestlers demask Hector Rodriguez will be the worst day of their lives. Their life might as well cease to exist, they would be signing their death warrant. Tank knows what it will take to put Hector down. Now that I think about it, it seems that the reason why the others don't mention him as much is because they cannot do so without showing their fear of him. Any smart man in WCF will fear Hector. He's going through a change, a change that will help him for the better. I have a feeling about the man that I share this limo with, that he will slowly become a dangerous individual here in WCF...well, more dangerous than before.
Hank Brown
Interesting answer there, Don. My next question is who do you feel poses the biggest threat in this match out of D-Day, Tank Reaper, Ryan Daniels, and Doc Henry?
Don Bradley
Honestly, I'd have to say it's Tank Reaper simply due to his size and power. This isn't a pure wrestling match. This is a battle royal. It's also true that size and power aren't everything in a battle royal, but to ignore a man who possesses size and strength in this type of match is suicide. Size and power also paint a huge target on your back in these types of matches as well. If everyone focuses on Tank Reaper and eliminates him early, then the focus could easily turn to Hector.
Hank Brown
What about the other wrestlers in the match...D-Day, Doc Henry, and Ryan Daniels?
Don Bradley
Those are actually the men that Hector has the most experience wrestling with or against. He's wrestled both with and against D-Day and so they have crossed paths. Doc Henry and Ryan Daniels were involved with Hector in the battle against the ToT, Doc being a tag team partner while Ryan Daniels was an opponent. Hector hasn't forgotten about that war with Torture and his friends. That works against Ryan Daniels, but at the same time that doesn't necessarily mean a good thing for Doc Henry. Hector will have no problem getting Doc Henry out of the way.
Hank Brown
Ok, last question is that someone pointed out on the weekly recap show for WCF that this will be the third title belt that Hector Rodriguez is getting a shot at. What if he wins this match only to lose at TEN in his attempt to finally win gold here in WCF? He's been in WCF for several months now and has yet to win a title match to date.
Don Bradley
My answer for that, is that that's in the past. That was then...this is now. I can only say so much in Hector's favor, the best response to that is to watch tonight as he is the winner of the title shot and then watch the pay-per-view as he is the winner again, this time of the United States title. The Hector Rodriguez that you will be watching in the ring tonight is a new Hector Rodriguez. This Hector is more focused, has less distractions. No offense to Carlos Estrada, but he has a better manager now and his manager at TEN will be even greater than myself, I can assure you that.
Hank Brown
Wait, does that mean you know who the new permanent manager for Hector Rodriguez is?
Don Bradley
No, that's not what I mean. We are searching for the best replacement and I am assuring everyone that the replacement will help him win the US title. This new manager will guide him onto becoming one of the best US champions to date. He will even one day go on to become the WCF World heavyweight champion under this new manager also. The face of WCF will change once Hector gains this new manager. However, like I just said, that is then...this is now. Now, Hector fights for the right to face Ace Slaughter at TEN. Hector Rodriguez has nothing holding him back but himself. If he succeeds tonight, it's because that's what he wanted. If he fails tonight, he has no one to blame but himself. Hector Rodriguez is the future United States champion and will prove that tonight when he wins the contendership match.
Hank Brown
Well, thank you for your time, Don. Hector, I wish you luck, my friend. I hope you do great and you have an amazing showing tonight in the ring. I might come by and say hello before your match tonight.
Hector waves at the screen as it cuts out. The video of the limo scene also cuts out.
