(It's late afternoon/early evening. Snow is on the ground. Customers pull their cars in and out of the Wendy's parking lot. A young man wearing a black winter coat and a Pittsburgh Steelers cap approaches the front door of the Wendy's. The man waits for a couple with a small child to exit before walking through the door. The man waits in line for a couple of minutes before placing his order. After paying for his order and waiting another few minutes, the man is given a tray with a burger, fries and a drink. The man finds a place to sit and begins eating. Suddenly a man's voice calls out.)
"Hey, Bobby Cairo!"
(The first man stops eating, looks up and sees a young Hispanic man in a red jacket and blue jeans approaching him.)
"Hi. I'm sorry, do I know you?"
"No, man. I'm sorry to bother you like this, but I'm a big fan of yours, man!"
"Oh, well I appreciate that. Would you like to sit down?"
"Yes, thanks! My name is Carlos Mesa; I'm a big fan! I read in the sports section that you just signed with WCF."
"That's true, I did. I'm very excited about it. It's a great opportunity for me."
"That's the big time, man. No more of that independent stuff for you."
"Right, right. It's a great challenge. I'll be battling against the top superstars in the world, so it's a definite step up in competition, but this is a chance to realize my dreams."
"Do you know when you'll be having your first match?"
"No, not yet. The sooner they put me out there, the better. I can't wait to get out there and start kicking some ass!"
"That’s what I like to hear. Can I get your autograph, man?"
"No problem. Do you have a pen?"
(Carlos gets a pen from one of the Wendy's employees and Bobby signs one of the napkins.)
"It was a pleasure meeting you, Carlos. I really appreciate your support."
"It was great meeting you too, bro. Go out there and kick some ass, man!"
(They both laugh. Carlos walks away as Bobby resumes eating his food.)
