I love stories don’t you? Legends, myths, passed down from generation to generation. Before in Africa people would tell stories of fiction or storied history. History is exactly what my opponent Amos is going to be at Slam. He calls himself the African Prince. He even has a pet servant. He wants everyone to bow before him. Well guess what Amos. The only person who’s going to bow is you bowing and groveling and crying at my feet with the referee raising my hand held high in victory with your blood on my hands. But, right now it’s not about that. Right now isn’t about Slam. It’s not about any fight. Right now, we’re going to go take a trip down memory lane. So I ask everyone to join me in the ride through history as I tell the legend, the myth, the rise and fall of the prince.
Chapter 1: The Beginning
The story starts off with young Amos watching his brother at the coronation to become the African prince. The prince of South Africa.
Amos: Papa can I be a prince one day?
King: Of course but you have to wait until you’re brother is done.
Amos: But why, I would make a great prince. I think I could even be a better prince than Afa.
King: Don’t say that. You should be happy for your brother. Your time will come just be patient.
Amos: Yes Papa.
Later on that day,
Amos: Hey, Afa how’s being prince?
Afa: I feel like I’m on the top of the world being prince.
Afa sees Amos is saddened by this.
Afa: Hey don’t look like that it’s okay. Someday you’re going to be prince we’re just going to have to wait until that time comes. Hey how about we go to the market, get something to eat? I’ll pay.
Amos: Ok, let’s go.
While at the market, Afa and Amos run into these girls who are gushing all over Afa and not Amos. (Not surprised.)
Girls: Oh my prince Afa, you are so much more prettier up close can you hang out with us?
Afa: I’m sorry, but I was hanging out with my brot-
They cut him off before he could say anything.
Girls: Come on let’s leave.
They pull him away and leave with him.
Amos walks back home saddened and in despair because know one wants to hang out with him, but then again who would?
Bobby, his servant, comes in his room asks how he is doing.
Amos: Do you ever feel like you’re not appreciated, like you’re invisible to everyone else.
Bobby: Sometimes I do. But I remember that the only person I need to please is myself.
Once you realize that nothing can stop you.(Except for me but let’s go back to the story)
Amos: But don’t you need friends to lift you up when you’re down.
Bobby: I’ll always be your friend Amos.(Sorry for stopping the story, I don’t why he would want to be his friend but whatever.)
Amos: Well I’m your friend too.
Bobby: I’m going to go make you something to eat.
Amos: Ok
Later on in the night, Afa comes back home and goes in to Amos’ room and sees Amos laying down in his bed.
Afa: Hey man, how was your day?
Amos doesn’t say anything.
Afa: I’m really sorry about leaving you.
Amos: I don’t care.
Afa: I know you’re mad at me but-
Amos cuts him off.
Amos: But just leave me alone. Please.
Afa leaves and goes to talk with their parents.
Afa: Papa, Mama, I made a huge mistake today.
Mama: Oh we know dear but it’s your fault for abandoning him, you never spend any time with him.
Afa looks upset and realizes he should’ve never left his brother and that he should appreciate his family more.
Chapter 2: Not Alone
Papa and Mama are packing their bags getting ready for their trip to Hawaii, because it’s their 20 year anniversary.
Amos: Goodbye Mama. Goodbye Papa.
Afa: We’re going to miss you guys very much.
Papa: You’ll be fine. We’re coming back in one month.
Mama: Bobby will stay here to provide for you. And good luck Afa because very soon, if someone beats you in a wrestling match they become the new prince.
Afa: I won’t let that happen.
Amos hears this and wonders.
Papa: Well we should be heading out now.
Their parents leave and Amos and Afa glare at each other.
Amos: This doesn’t change anything.
Amos goes back to his room and slams his door shut because he’s angry and a brat.
Afa: What do I need to do?
Afa goes to Amos’ room to talk to him.
Afa: I don’t how many times I have to say it but I’m sorry.
Amos: I don’t care anymore about you. Bobby has become more family than anyone ever has.
Afa: Is Bobby the one protecting you? The one tucking you in at night? The one praying with you every morning? No he’s just the butler.
Amos: He’s my friend and apparently the only one who has time for me!
Bobby overhears everything.
Afa: I’m going to go train for the match. I just hope that me and you can become brothers again. See you later.
Bobby enters Amos’ room.
Bobby: Thank you for standing up to me. No one does for me.
Amos: I just wish that I could get back at him. I can be a better prince than him.
Bobby: I think you can too. I think I have a way you can become prince.
Amos: Really, but how?
Bobby: You beat him in the wrestling match.
Amos: How he’s super stronger than me. (Isn’t everyone stronger than him?)
Bobby: Which is why I stole you this brute stone. It grants you size, strength, and speed.
Amos: I don’t know about this.
Bobby: Aren’t you tired of being looked down on by everyone? I know I am. This could be our only chance to get back at everyone and show why you’re better than him.
Amos: But he’s my brother.
Bobby: The same brother who doesn’t spend time with you. The brother who only cares about fame. The brother who abandoned family for glory. What do you say? Do you want to become prince?
Amos: Let’s do it.
Amos takes the stone and grows in size, speed and strength.
Amos: I’m ready.
Chapter 3: Rise Up
The day is here. The challenge is about to start.
Amos and Afa’s parents are watching but no one sees Amos.
Announcer: Now the challenge is starting right now. Who wants to challenge Prince Afa for the throne?
Masked Man: I’ll do it!
The masked man arrives to challenge Afa.
Afa: I accept your challenge.
The masked man and Afa are having an intense battle but Afa is no match for the masked man with his incredible speed, size and strength. The masked man begins choking out Afa with brute force.
Masked Man: For years you were more superior. For years I was always second. But not anymore, now you die brother.
Afa: Amos? No, no don’t do this. We’re brothers. I love you.
Amos: I wish I could say the same to you.
Amos kills his brother and is named the new African Prince.
His family is saddened by what he’s become.
Bobby: You didn’t have to kill him.
Amos: I do whatever I want servant.
Bobby: Servant? I thought we were friends?
Amos: You were never my friend and you never will be. You’re my servant, nothing more and nothing less.
Papa: What is wrong with you? You killed your own brother!
Amos: Yes I did. I hated him all the time. I was always second to him. Everyone paid all their attention to him. I was the black sheep of the family wasn’t I?
Mama and Papa look upset.
Amos: Wasn’t I?!
Mama: We loved you both the same and we cared for you both.
Amos: Don’t lie to me slut. You’re only here because Papa needs pleasure at night.
Papa: That’s enough! You don’t belong here with us. You were never apart of our kingdom. You’re no longer our son. I’m not even sure if you were to begin with. You two are hereby banished from South Africa never to return!
Amos: I don’t need this place anyway. I hope you all rot.
Amos’ father banished him from South Africa.
Bobby: Where do we go now sir?
Amos: Our expedition continues in America. I’ll show them all that they were wrong.
Amos and Bobby leave and head to America to continue their journey.
Epilogue
In America Amos and Bobby join WCF. The most notorious wrestling promotion hoping to find success there. Of course he didn’t find success but maybe he will or probably not, time will tell. Anyways I hope you all enjoyed the storied history of the rise and fall of Amos, the rise and fall of the African Prince. Now I know this was a little shorter than expected but you don’t always need big words to tell a big story. And I know that I only told about his rise, but his fall will come at Slam when I beat him in the middle of the ring. When I send a message to all of my doubters. When I prove to everyone that I belong here. Slam will mark the demise of Amos. He will become the first victim that I slay, second if you count the jobber in my spectacular debut. And boys and girls, ladies and gentlemen, never forget, as long as I’m here, IT’S TIME TO SLAY.
