OK lets back up a little bit.
I didnt say your promo was bad. I enjoyed it. I like that style that you have. Its a perfectly acceptable style that I feel you can do well with if you expand upon it.
You don't need to do 'traditional rp blocking " of:

Boots Martin: hi! I'm boots martin and I'm dumping expositions and side side banter

Can you win with in but theres other areas where you would need to generally expand into with your narration. Also, I'm not a booker or a judge. I'm only giving you advice in a way that I feel is the best way for you to succeed here.
I don't want you to turn tail and quit.
I don't want you to think that you personally, your style or character are not are not welcome. You are very much welcome in WCF.
We encourage different styles, characters and skill levels. Hell, we had a division that was just turned into 20 pages of shit posting memes.
Do I want to see you fit in; yes.
do I want to see you grow; yes.
do I want to see you reach outside your current comfort zone and become a more skilled roleplayer; yes.
But I'm not going to sit here and trash your skills without offering you some sort of counterpoint as to how they can be tweaked or improved. I'm not telling you to even reall tweak or change your style, just give more content in your style. I want to read more of your character.
If you look at the word cap and think theres no way you can swing 5k a week and dont want to just be in the TV title scene or feel as though you rather go back to a fed where your style is the norm - OK, cool. Sucks if go but hey, such is life and you gotta do whats best for you.
I mean, I'm in a fed right now ( that alot of us are in ) where the top cap is 4k then 3k then 1k and theres a belt with a 700 word limit. Find what makes sense for you just dont take it personal when different efeds have different criteria for promos. I was once in fed ( over 10 years ago ) where layout - fucking promo layout like colors and font and backgrounds were legit how RPs were decided.
and Jay Price is very laxed. He's cool. Hes going to take styles into consideration but hes also going to judge the overall best RP. But don't cut yourself short that its all doom and gloom. We all work. We all have jobs. We're all adults. I get it. Give yourself a chance to succeed rather than lock yourself into how your 'one instance of style is all you can do and if not then you gotta bounce'
no one wants to see you bounce
