It's a step in the right direction. I still feel you can dig deeper into the character's psyche, also you need to expand your supporting characters for more interaction between Udy and his world. You have a good base to work on, you just need to keep fleshing it out.

Good to see you pushing yourself, hopefully you continue to write longer roleplays. You can go down to the Archives section and end up in the old RP archives from over 5 years ago and see that we used to write RPs that short and sometimes shorter. I remember those days. Now I average between 4-7k, my Trios RPs being the exception.
The way that I climbed from writing 1k RPs was by doing the following things:
1. Scene Description. You should really consider describing the scenes more. Not only will it up your word count (and not in a filler type of way), but you'll draw more people into your RPs when reading them. The more people reading them, the higher chance you have of people becoming interested in your character and wanting to work with you.
2. Add more interaction between the characters. Like Rabid was saying, a great supporting cast of characters you can pull from each week to carry on conversations and scenes with Udy would be great.
3. You really just want to push it when it comes to shoot as well and convince the audience why you'll be the victor in your matches each week. You want to make people think you'll win and why you're better than your opponent.
If you really work on these things, and there's many other ways to help you write more content, you could easily bump up your word count by a couple of thousand words while still producing quality content.

As Digger said...scene description. Give the reader details. Paint a picture so that the readers sees the surrounding. What is Udy wearing? Is it night? Day? Overcast? Sunny? Is it cold? The more you can describe, the better. Once you do that, you can learn to describe things more creatively. Instead of saying " It's a sunny day", you can say " The hot sun shines brightly overhead, casting shadows underneath that seemed to distract Udy from the task at hand". Read Rabid, Andre Holmes and Jaymz. Those three really paint a picture. Especially Jaymz. He can really make the reader "see" what he's writing.

www.wcfwrestling.com/champs.htmlIf you're going to read old promos, the best to do is to go to this page and read the work of people who won titles here, especially the world champions and the ones who held the belts for months at a time. The best part is this page also shows the date they won it so you can know where to look in the roleplay archives. You'll not only want to read the champions with long reigns but also the people who were able to finally beat them. But definitely read anything from 2012 to now when the word counts started jumping.
