The scene opens with black costumed super hero, The CAPTAIN, walking through a thick wooded area at tranquil Blue Marsh Lake. CAP is not alone however, as not only is he flanked by a WCF cameraman, he is also being led by his martial arts master, Master C. The trio has been walking through the dark for some time, and CAPTAIN is relieved when they finally reach a clearing, equipped with a previously used fire pit. Master C turns around to face CAP and the almost out of breath cameraman.
Master C: “I’ll go get some firewood; you two sit down and take a break for a bit.”
The cameraman immediately falls to the ground on his butt, thankful for the rest. The CAPTAIN salutes his martial arts instructor.
CAPTAIN: “You got it!”
CAP looks around for a nice, cleared off looking spot to take a seat, slowly lowering himself to the ground once finding an appropriate place.
CAPTAIN: “Thanks for coming along for this, Mr. Cameraman! I hope to get some good promo material from our trip out here!”
The winded cameraman wearily looks over at The CAPTAIN, nodding his head as fast as he is able to in his condition.
Cameraman: “Yeah…sure…no problem.”
Although a little tired, and a little spooked by the acres of darkness around him, CAP is happy to be out at the lake he considers to be his calming place. He’s also very happy about being joined by his martial arts master, whose presence makes him feel like he could take on any dangers that they may randomly encounter. After a few minutes of relaxing, the two already seated gentlemen are once again joined by Master C, who is now carrying two arms full of branches.
Master C: “This should be enough to last us awhile!”
Master C kneels down and places the wood next to the used fire pit. He then carefully sets up some of the branches in an almost perfectly symmetrical looking teepee-type formation. The martial arts instructor then takes a lighter out of his pocket, and carefully lights the fire wood, which in a matter of minutes, is completely in a glow, warming the three men around it.
Master C: “I like this place, CAP. You’re right when you say that it’s very peaceful and calming out here.”
CAPTAIN nods repeatedly.
CAPTAIN: “Yes, master! If I ever feel like I in very stressful situation, I come out here to unwind and not think about my problems for a while! It not fail me yet, and I hope tonight prove to be worth the trip too!”
Master C smiles and places his hand on his student’s shoulder.
Master C: “Well we’ll for sure try our best to make sure that happens.”
After about ten minutes of sitting around the roaring fire and chit-chatting, Master C turns to his star, super hero pupil.
Master C: “CAP, are you ready?”
The CAPTAIN takes a deep breath and exhales for a ridiculously long time.
CAPTAIN: “Yes, I ready to do this.”
The martial arts master now looks at CAP with a serious expression on his face.
Master C: “Alright, here are your instructions then. This goes for you too there, Mr. Cameraman, I need everyone here’s cooperation on this one.”
The WCF cameraman reluctantly nods.
Master C: “Good, now here’s what we need to do. Everyone close their eyes.”
All three men, including Master C, close their eyes in unison.
Master C: “OK CAP, this next part is for you. I want you to think about your former tag team partner, Steven Singh.”
A scowl creeps across The CAPTAIN’S face, as he thinks about the man he used to consider the best partner he ever had.
CAPTAIN: “Do I have to think about him, Master? His average at best face make me want to puke my guts out when I think about it!”
Master C holds back a chuckle.
Master C: “Yes CAP, you HAVE to think about Steven Singh.”
CAP grumbles some more but then let’s out a defeated sigh.
CAPTAIN: “Fine, but I HATE that guy!”
The martial arts master frowns.
Master C: “CAPTAIN, what have I told you before about what hate is?”
The CAPTAIN now lowers his head down towards the ground.
CAPTAIN: “You say that hate is something that someone has when they too scared to face something or someone they fear.”
Master C nods.
Master C: “That’s right, CAP. Are you saying that you’re afraid of Steven?”
CAP immediately moves his head towards the sound of his master’s voice and repeatedly shakes his head back and forth.
CAPTAIN: “No master, I NEVER going to be afraid of him!”
The martial arts instructor smirks.
Master C: “Good, that’s the right attitude. Now picture Steven in your mind.”
The three are silent for a moment while CAP acquires the vision he needs.
Master C: “Do you have him pictured now?”
CAPTAIN: “Yes master, I can see him clear as day.”
Master C nods in acknowledgement.
Master C: “Good, now that you have him in the front of your thoughts, I want you to picture your match with him on Sunday. In particular, I want you to picture yourself climbing the ladder and grabbing the tag titles to win your match against him. I don’t want there to be any doubts in your mind on whether you can do this or not, I want you to believe, to KNOW, that you’re going to do this.”
CAP pictures this in the darkness of his mind. Even without his master’s encouragement, the CAPTAIN has no problem seeing this future as he thinks about it. Even though the all black super hero can picture himself winning, the tiny bit of doubt he has continues to try to creep back into his picture. However, CAP forces it down long enough to see his vision clearly.
CAPTAIN: “I can see it! I can see myself climbing the ladder and taking my titles, while Stefan down on the mat crying his eyes out like little baby!”
This time, Master C is unable to hold back his laughter.
Master C: “Ha ha, that’s great, CAP, but I need you to silently picture this. Keep playing the scene out in your mind. Now no matter what may happen in the next few minutes, I don’t want you to say anything out loud, but I want you to just concentrate on you winning.”
The CAPTAIN takes a deep breath.
CAPTAIN: “OK, I can do that.”
CAP replays the scenario over and over again in his mind for about the next five minutes, just like his master asked him to. After about the twenty fifth time of seeing himself holding the tag titles in the air high about the ring, the scene disappears in a burst of blue flames. The CAPTAIN sees himself standing towards the blue flames with nothing but blackness surrounding him. Just as it seems the blue flames are about to die out, the size and the intensity of the flames grows to an amount far greater than it had been at any point CAP had been viewing it. As the flames die down once again, a giant silver and red masked figure stands where the blue flames had been. Although CAPTAIN can’t see the vision version of his face, he knows that his mouth is hanging wide open.
CAPTAIN: “ULTRAMAN!”
The silver and red giant moves his gaze downward and stares at the black costumed wrestling super hero with his glowing yellow eyes.
Ultraman: “You must be The CAPTAIN! It’s very nice to finally get to meet you!”
Ultraman’s voice is so loud and booming that CAP watches himself have to steady his human super hero body to not be knocked down flat on the ground.
CAPTAIN: “Wow, you know who I am?! But you the super hero, Mr. Ultraman!”
The legendary red and silver Japanese super hero throws his head back and laughs.
Ultraman: “Oh CAP, I’m old news anymore. Sure people may mention my name every now and again, but they look at me as a relic of the past, a hero of a time before their time. But you CAPTAIN, you are the hero of now. You’re someone that every little boy or girl looks up to you because you’re never afraid, never scared to stand up for what’s right.”
The CAPTAIN watches the tiny version of himself that he can see shrug his shoulders.
CAPTAIN: “But Ultraman, I no super hero like you with special powers and things! I just go out there and be best wrestler that I can be every time I step into wrestling ring!”
Ultraman carefully lowers himself down to one knee to be closer to a face to face interaction with the black masked wrestler.
Ultraman: “But don’t you understand what a super hero is, CAP? A super hero is someone who takes up a cause greater than themselves. A super hero gives their full effort to taking down evil so that people can live in a better, safer environment. The super hero puts the well-being of others way before their own. This is what you do, CAPTAIN, your presence has brought back an entire group of people who would be otherwise scared to watch wrestling for fear of there not being someone to stop the bad guys from taking over. You give them hope that there will be good in wrestling and that they will have someone to cheer on for a long time to come. Never forget who you are, CAP, they need you. The world needs you.”
The CAPTAIN can feel not only the vision version of himself’ eyes well up, but the actual CAPTAIN has tears that begin to stream down his cheeks. A well-known Japanese iconic super hero, like Ultraman, was the last person CAP expected to tell him that he was the real super hero he always wanted to be.
CAPTAIN: “Thank you so much, Ultraman. I not going to let you down! I not going to let WCF Galaxy down! I going to beat Stefan to top of that ladder and grab the tag team titles and show them that I the super hero they can still believe in! I promise you that!”
Ultraman gives the CAPTAIN a massive thumbs up before standing once again.
Ultraman: “Good, you can do it, CAPTAIN. Everyone knows you can and you’ll show them that on Sunday. But I must go for now, keep being true to you, keep giving everyone a reason to believe in us.”
The vision version of CAP waves up at the silver and red giant one more time as Ultraman salutes and disappears in a flash of intense blue flames. As this happens, the CAPTAIN opens his eyes. He wipes away the tears from his face as he sees both Master C and the cameraman looking at him.
CAPTAIN: “Master C, I saw him, I saw the real Ultraman! He’s…he’s real, he was as close to me as you are now!”
The martial arts master smiles and nods.
Master C: “I’m glad that you got to meet him, CAP. Are there any doubts in your mind whatsoever that you’ll be able to defeat Singh at Explosion?”
CAP beams at the master with a big toothy grin while moving his head side to side.
CAPTAIN: “No, I going to win that match. There nothing Stefan going to be able to do to stop it from happening. The people want CAP to win and I not going to let them down when they all believe that their hero can win it for them!”
Master C smiles and stands up.
Master C: “Very well, then I believe our work here is done. How about we put this fire out and head out of here?”
Without hesitation, the WCF cameraman opens his bottle of water and pours it over the fire in front of them, extinguishing the majority of the flames. The trio then makes their way back out of the woods, the CAPTAIN almost hoping that they would encounter some kind of danger so that he could use his full super hero capabilities.

The scene opens with the CAPTAIN standing in the middle of a wrestling ring at an undisclosed location. A WCF cameraman films CAP as he leans against the ropes, the black costumed super hero looking very relaxed.
CAPTAIN: “Sunday March 26th, 2017, WCF Explosion live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, the world will see the epic conclusion of Cap ‘N Crook, one of most prestigious tag teams in history of WCF wrestling.”
CAP stands up and walks to his left and rests against the top turnbuckle of the first corner he reaches.
CAPTAIN: “You know, it sad that it have to come to end in first place, but Stefan Sing is a man that think he greater than the CAPTAIN. Stefan thinks he better than a true life super hero! He been trying to prove this for last few weeks now, and frankly, it just kind of sad.”
The CAPTAIN holds a finger up to the camera.
CAPTAIN: “But before I get to into the here and now, let’s go back to see what led us up to this point.”
CAP closes his eyes and takes a deep breath in, exhaling after holding the breath in for a few seconds.
CAPTAIN: “The date was October 30th, 2016. It was Helloween and I was teamed with Teddo del Nerdo in tag team TLC match to determine new tag team champions after To-Mo-Hawk forced out of action and we have to drop our titles. I was excite to be teaming with Nerdo because he used to be great masked, good guy wrestler. So the match play out and I eventually see my opportunity to grab tag title and become champion once again. I do it and the crowd roars for The CAPTAIN, but little did I know I forgot something.”
CAPTAIN taps the side of his head.
CAPTAIN: “I so focused on getting my own belt that I forget to grab other belt and instead of Nerdo getting it and becoming my championship partner, it gets snatched up by Stefan Sing. Now I not sure what to think about this at first, but I do remember one thing about it… I wasn’t mad at all. I knew that Stefan was up and coming wrestler that already knew how to pick up big wins. I saw this as a plus from someone who I would be calling my partner. I felt a little bad for momentarily forgetting about Nerdo, but I was excited about this new prospect.”
CAP slowly begins to walk around the ring once again, stopping once he reaches the second corner in his path.
CAPTAIN: “Oh and I was right to be excite, after our very first tag title defense, I already know that Stefan was something special. I knew that he was going to be one of toughest wrestlers in all of WCF to beat, and that’s a nice thing to know when you’re on best team in the organization with him. It wasn’t that we got along great right away, but I could tell that he wanted to be a champion and that he was going to give it his best fight every time to make sure that we not lose our titles. Every time I see him out there, it inspire me to want to do my best too because I not want to let Stefan down, I wanted us to be WCF Tag Team champions for forever!”
The CAPTAIN looks up at the ceiling as he fondly remembers how dominant Cap ‘N Crook truly was.
CAPTAIN: “January 1st, 2017, Cap ‘N Crook was firmly established as best tag team in all of wrestling. But I was starting to be able to see that Stefan wanted more than that. I knew the New Year Bish special match that Supreme Ultimate Elite Galactic Mega Overlord of WCF, Sef Lich, had set up was something that Stefan had his eye on winning. The two of us were paired against each other and two members of One Tolerance in fatal four way first round matchup of this special tournament. I had one focus that entire first round and it was not trying to win, it was to make sure that Stefan won that match!”
CAP frowns as he continues to reminisce about the New Year Bash.
CAPTAIN: “I sure Stefan going to act like he not remember or know this, but I the one that make sure he not get eliminated in that match! Remember Stefan? Remember when I throw my body in front of Jameson Money so that he not able to launch you like lawn dart into the front row? I’m sure you don’t anymore, but that’s what happened. I put you before myself because I believed so much in your ability to win that New Year Bish match. And this was one of the times where you not let me down, you went on to win that match in the main event and you earned a special prize…a shot at Jory Splash and his WCF World Championship.”
CAPTAIN looks down at the mat and shakes his head back and forth.
CAPTAIN: “I didn’t see it then but I see it now, that was the beginning of the end of us. You start to become obsessed with beating Splash and winning the World Title that you so desperately thought you needed to prove that you best wrestler in the world.”
CAP begins to walk again, stopping once he reaches the third corner on his route. CAPTAIN’S passion in his speech starts to grow as his story continues.
CAPTAIN: “You start to treat me like I was bother, like I was holding you back from becoming the best even though I was your number one supporter! I supported you more than my own personal hero, Jory Splash, and you not even care! You put our tag championship on back burner; you put all of YOUR things as priority number one. What did I do? I continued to support you, continued to back you, believing that you were going to get the biggest win of your career and beat my hero for the World Title.”
CAP shrugs.
CAPTAIN: “But did that happen in your match against Splash at Rise Up? No it did not, and so what did you do, Stefan? You blamed the CAPTAIN for you losing because I was cheering for what I thought was about to be your huge win… But is that what really cause you to lose, was it??”
The CAPTAIN then begins to walk again, stopping at the fourth and final corner on his trip around the ring.
CAPTAIN: “But you know what? I feel bad for “causing” your loss, so I talk to Sef Lich and not only get you rematch for World Title, but I get me as special guest referee, to make sure you get fair and square match! What was your reaction to this? You get mad at me! You get mad at me because you think I just trying to screw up your chance at being World Champion! I the reason you had shot in first place, Stefan! No one wanted you to win more than The CAPTAIN! But with your massive ego in the way, you not able to see this whatsoever! I not know it then, but you had already made up your mind about what was going to happen in your rematch, and it wasn’t you trying to actually win World Title. Nope, at Timebomb, you threw it all completely away, the World Title, the Tag Titles, everything, just to join stupid little Ever Rest group with Dirty Sanchez and Eathand Queen.”
CAP now walks to the middle of the ring, where a spotlight turns on and shines on the all black super hero.
CAPTAIN: “But you never cared about me, did you Stefan? It was always all about you, what you needed to do to be the best. I don’t get it though, because with your loss at Timebomb, you never going to be able to challenge for World Title again! We already know you’re not happy with ‘just’ the tag titles, so what are you going to do to be satisfied? Are you going to be happy and joyous if either Sanchez or Queen pull off miracle and somehow win the World Title for themselves?!”
The CAPTAIN laughs.
CAPTAIN: “Ha yeah right! I guarantee if that ever happen, you going to immediately plot and scheme and figure out way to steal that title for yourself! Because you not care about anyone except for yourself, that’s who you are Stefan. You NEVER going to be able to change who you are. And as much as I not want to say it…”
CAP’S expression turns from serious to one of sadness as he begins to sob.
CAPTAIN: “I still love you like brother, Stefan! I not even able to hate you because what we had as Cap ‘N Crook is greater than anything I ever have in my life! I know that we never going to be team again, and I going to miss that very much, more than anything that I’ve missed in my whole life. But this ladder match, this ladder match we going to have at Explosion is for something far greater than WCF Tag Team titles. I going to teach you the lesson I was trying to teach you the entire time we were best tag team on the planet.”
CAPTAIN takes a deep breath and wipes the tears from his face.
CAPTAIN: “I going to show you when I win that playing fair and square and following the rules is the best way to get the win! You so busy your entire career trying to figure out ways to take shortcuts and steal your way to greatness, that you constantly sell yourself short and squander any potential of being the best that you once had. I still have this potential. I make sure that I in the biggest and best fights and give my best effort, the right way that I know I still can reach heights greater than anyone has ever seen!”
CAP chuckles to himself.
CAPTAIN: “I mean let’s face it, you obviously afraid of The CAPTAIN right now, you had to steal my tag title belt from me instead of just facing me like man and taking it! I not scared to face you, Stefan, in fact, I looking forward to it. And if you have any hate in your heart for The CAPTAIN, you’re going to be in REAL trouble. Hate is for the weak that can’t face their fears. I going to be able to smell it on you, and I going to beat you even worse than I already going to. In this match, I not going to let myself down, I not going to let WCF Galaxy down… I not going to let you down, Stefan. I going to give the WCF the best ladder match they ever seen in their lives. Even if you still not believe it at this point, I AM a super hero, Stefan. I a hero every time I put my costume on and step between these ropes. I going to be your hero on Sunday, by showing you how strong Cap ‘N Crook could have continued to be if you would have given us chance!”
The CAPTAIN rubs his chin.
CAPTAIN: “You know, I always wondered why you hated the name Cap ‘N Crook, but I get it now. It’s because I CAP, someone who is known to be greater than just a man. And you are Crook, a common criminal, who just does unremarkable things that leads to an unremarkable life. You hated that name because of how right it is. I made it as joke, because I thought you may think it funny like me. But you took it to heart, didn’t you? You could never get past how it labeled you, how ordinary it made you sound. Common criminal, Stefan Sing, that’s you to a T. How does that make you feel, Stefan? No joke in the name this time. You could have been Tag Team and World Champion, Stefan Sing, but YOU blew it! And now with your poor attitude and new, terrible team, you expect to beat the greatest super hero wrestling has ever seen?! Yeah, let me give you spoiler, it not going to go well for you!”
CAP now walks to the ropes and slides out of the ring. He bends down and flips up the ring apron, digging underneath the ring for something. After a moment, CAPTAIN appears again, slowly pulling a ladder out from under the ring. He then picks the ladder up and slides it into the ring. CAP follows his freshly retrieved ladder, and he sets it up in the middle of the spotlight where he had been standing moments ago. The CAPTAIN then climbs the ladder rung by rung, eventually stopping and sitting once he reaches the top.
CAPTAIN: “At Explosion, there will be no more talk, no more excuses, no more bull manure from you Stefan, you either put up or shut up. I already talked to Sef Lich about concerns I had for this being fair match and he assured me he going to do everything he can to make sure your Ever Rest sisters don’t interfere in our match. Because this match isn’t about them, is it Stefan? No this match is all about us, this match is all about the final chapter of one of the greatest tag teams in WCF history. The world will find out who the better man really is. Is it Stefan Sing? The man who’s cheated to get everything he’s ever had in this business, using whatever and whoever was accessible to him at the time. Or is it The CAPTAIN? A real life super hero that gives his best fight each and every time so that the people have someone that gives them hope, that they can conquer anything they may have to overcome in their lives.”
CAP points down at the camera looking up at him.
CAPTAIN: “There has to be a small piece of you that is still good, Stefan. You know what the answer to my question is. But just in case you don’t, and because I going to give the WCF Galaxy the best ladder match they’ve ever seen in their lifetime, I going to show you what the answer is on Sunday. And when I do, The CAPTAIN will be walking out of MGM Grand as THE WCF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! Not you, not Ever Rest, no one going to be able to stop wrestling’s greatest super hero from being three time champion! I going to show you, Stefan, that I was the true champion all along!”
The CAPTAIN then stretches an arm out on either side and looks up at the ceiling, screaming at the top of his lungs.
CAPTAIN: “BAAAAANNNNNZZZZZZZAAAAAIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!”
