One thing I've always wondered about the infamous girlscout cookies, what's so good about them and can't you just buy the exact same things in a store?

Can't buy them in stores.
They're not really that good.
Peanut Butter (without the chocolate) are the best.
I'm a hypocrite.

Thin mints are my go to when I do decide to get girl scout cookies, but try to stay away from their selling territories because I'm trying to kick the habit.

Can't relate on the cookies thing but I've got a bad habit of spending £20-£25 per week on 50p mix-ups (bags of 1p chews)

i have to bring the sheet to work this week. My daughter has her first sale
I hate sales. Mostly collecting money. I'm still collecting money from my family for fantasy football.

I would buy three boxes just for the good cause. Hated the cookies, always ended up throwing them away.

What's sad is they are $4.00 a box and I think the troop gets $0.65 of each box it might even be less. I now just donate $20.00 to the troops when I see the girls scouts out selling them.

Yeah I always thought that selling cookies was sort of forced labor under the guise of teaching responsibility and some form of business acumen.
I was in Boy Scouts for about a month, but all we did was meet at a church every week and read Spawn comic books the whole time. We were doing the Lords work fam.

I was in Weeblos as a kid. When we had the graduation ceremony into becoming Boy Scouts, we had this bridge that you crossed (it was inside and was a symbolic thing). I literally walked over the bridge and out the door to the car. My parents were so mad but I hated doing that stuff. The Pinewood Derby was the only fun thing we did.
