I'm going to say this now, and after Rise Up, I'm going to try and judge more towards what I'm saying here:
These aren't meant to be spam belts. It seems to me as if when competing in these divisions, the idea is "get out as much content as possible!" I'm not calling anyone out exactly, but I do want to be clear that creativity in these mediums going forward will be more important than amount of words. That has always been the case, but I think perception of what is expected of these divisions has gone out of whack.
My favorite Internet Title stuff that I can remember was Stuart Slane doing fake internet dating profiles. He didn't post a shitload, but it was creative and entertaining.
Another note about the internet title threads - they're meant to be representative of actual internet postings, NOT literal messageboard posts. This time I'll have to call someone out - Katherine Phoenix's "Teddy Blaze made it to page 14" type posts are not at all what I want out of the Internet Title division. It isn't really meant to be two wrestlers typing on a messageboard back and forth to one another. Two wrestlers going back and forth on Twitter is one thing, but using "pages" as a main selling point in the contest isn't really great.
So yeah. Long story short, in both of the "no limits" division I'm hoping to see more creativity and less content for the sake of content! Feel free to discuss!

So just to understand, they should be twitter posts? 140 characters and all?

In a perfect world, yes, if they're going to pretend to be Twitter posts, they should follow that.
Inventing a fake social media platform would be fine, too, like saying I'M POSTING ON WCFTWEETS and then using @ and hashtags and whatever.
It is a criticism I have with roleplays too - if you're going to give me a wall of text, you've got to give context. I hate when people launch into opponent shoot without telling me what is happening - is this an on screen interview, is it them talking to a friend, is it them typing it... etc.

I can only speak for myself, but when I "wall of text" shoot, I literally see it as basically a void with Jared speaking – considering all the alien nonsense, you can take it as telepathy for all I care.

Truth be told I'm kind of happy to be out from under it.
I had that belt for 6 months, I probably ended up posting more for that title than in the entirety of my WCF tenure lol.
I accept your decision and I know you wouldn't award the win based solely on spam. If Seth decides the better man won, I'll abide it lol.
Onward and upward.

If I'm reading this correctly... Seth wants us to promote the matches with creativity rather than turning it into a spam fest that's good with me. Also that was me who did the fake dating profiles thing when I faced ZMAC lol or did Slane do that too?

That has always been the case, but I think perception of what is expected of these divisions has gone out of whack. I'm glad something was finally said about this. It's one thing for people to think that going for the main event level titles here requires more skill than they may have (which can be corrected), but the level of difficulty for the hardcore and IT titles are on another level. Most people either don't have the time or don't have the desire to put in the time it takes for belts like these. I remember when the hardcore title wasn't unlimited RPs and while I'd love if it went back to it, I know it probably won't so it is still set apart from the other titles. However, I think a roleplay cap is fine. Maybe 7 RPs max with a smaller word cap. I just think it makes no sense for there to be titles that require more effort to win than the world title. The world title should be the most difficult title to win. I don't think making these belts unlimited as they are necessarily increases the difficulty, it just requires you to ignore everything IRL just to have a shot. MY favorite Internet title stuff is what the belt was about originally. It was basically a "real" Twitter belt where the posts had a character limit. I thought the title was great up until Johnny Stylez came in and started this large post style that is still going on today. Once he came along, I think I've read maybe one thread since.

As the new Internet Champion, I will make it my lifes mission to make Digger read an internet title thread... even if it kills me It won't happen. Not unless you go back to the original rules/intention behind the belt and if you did you would get squashed with today's Internet title division.

There is so much cool stuff you can do with the Internet belt. Slane was great, Caliban was also a great one that comes to mind. The best Internet Champions find creative ways to attack their opponent via the internet. Blogs, fake websites, memes, the possibilities are endless. For it to be just posting back and forth for 20 pages is def missing the point. It's a staple of the division but it could be so much more.
Hardcore title is what it is. Can't really say anything about that. Unlimited is unlimited but when I had it, I just tried to do one short RP a day for matches. Sometimes I'd end up with 6-8 RPs, and they were short but they were real promos. I tried to at least match my opponent as far as quantity but that can turn into a game as well of trying to stay one ahead.
Maybe put a cap on the number of RPs? 2 a day max I think would be fair. It takes away the "unlimited" aspect but 2 RPs a day is still pretty fucking hardcore.
As for the Internet belt, and maybe this is what you are saying with your post, but I think the "back and forth" Internet thread, while essentially mandatory, should be given far less consideration than other more creative posts on the Internet board. Thats what I tried to push when I did the Wednesday night show. I think I did an Internet title tournament where one round was memes only, one round was blogs, I dont remember lol but I know it was fun.

It takes away the "unlimited" aspect but 2 RPs a day is still pretty fucking hardcore. See that's the thing and I like what you're saying here. Hardcore can still be considered unlimited but doesn't have to literally be unlimited. 14 RPs max vs. 1-2 RPs (depending on if it's PPV week or not) in comparison to most matches on the card is practically unlimited. I like that idea. It's kinda like the IT title has its own list of stipulations the match could be. It could even be set up where the card would just say IT title match but Seth would PM the participants and tell them what type (blogs, memes, etc.) and everyone just has to watch to see what it's going to be once the participants start posting.

When I had it I just tried to do whatever my opponents were doing lol.
The gif thing came about as a response to the memes. I had to have something I could do that they could not in order to have an answer, so I taught myself imaging and photoshop lol.
The back and forths tended to come because I did not want to try to outmeme people, it doesn't really fit my sense of humor. So I'd try to get them talking instead.
