Intro: What Happens Here...
Date: January XXth
Time: 11:05 P.M.
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
Ahh Vegas. Sin City. Where all your wildest dreams, and worst nightmares, can come true! From the beautiful sights around the city during the day to the nightlife that will ruin your sleep patterns, it's easy to see why so many people put this location on their bucket lists. This is where we find Avian wrestler CJ Phoenix. Where is he? In a casino perhaps? He does love those. Alas, it's not there, but rather on a desert road where we find him. He looks distraught as he stares at the sky.
Phoenix: Misfortune...
One word. Eleven letters. That was 2016 for Chase Jackson. Here he is, a guy who had never stepped foot in a wrestling ring before, trying to make a name for himself. Trying to be a positive influence on the world around him. Did he achieve this? Yes, but then, misfortune. Such is life. He fought through adversity to win his first-ever title in the WCF. He saw an opportunity to skyrocket to the highest echelons as World Champion, but then, misfortune. The misfortune of leaving WAR knowing that he was not yet ready to be World Champ, so he had to let that go. A bittersweet feeling it was. Bitter because of the harsh realization. Sweet because it will just make it that much better when he does take home the WCF World Title. But that's a different story for a different time. He had a chance to become WCF's 100th Television Champion. Again, a chance to make history, but then, misfortune. Thanks to outside interference, that didn't happen. So One rolls around, and he has the chance to save the people from themselves, but then, misfortune. He briefly forgot that these are the same people that put Trump in office. Outer bread that with the fact that the love of his live was hospitalized and then kidnapped later in the year, and yeah, misfortune. Here he is now, cannon fodder for the endless hatred that exists in the world he lives in. Kinda like the guy typing this. Strange how worlds collide in such ways sometimes. For months, he had quietly established himself as the Workhorse of WCF, making himself better one day at a time. When he would step in the ring, he was fighting three battles. One against his opponent(s), one against his outer demons, and one against his inner demons. His life outside of the ring was wearing him down, and his life between the ropes suffered.
Phoenix: I hate you, misfortune...And I know you hate me too. Such is life.
Footsteps can be heard in the distance behind Phoenix, slowly approaching him. CJ looks down and sighs. The figure approaching him stops five feet away from him. Without turning around, Phoenix spoke to it.
(BROTHER NERO! I KNEW YOU'D COME! Just kidding, it's not brother Nero.)
Phoenix: I'm surprised you didn't go for the cliche and show up at midnight.
The figure didn't speak. It wore a long, black cloak. It's face was veiled by the hoodie on its head. In its right hand is a scythe. The left hand holds an hourglass. It appears that the Grim Reaper has come to claim the soul of CJ Phoenix. The last grains of sand in the hourglass fall before the hourglass itself vanishes. The Reaper grabs the handle of the scythe with its left hand and raises it in the air with both hands. Chase looks at the shadow of the reaper behind him and takes one more deep breath before turning around. He spreads out his arms and nods. The Reaper swings his scythe and blood splatters as CJ falls to the ground in a growing pool of his own blood.

Scene 1: Short Change Hero
Date: January 4th
Time: 3:53 P.M.
Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
The scene begins with Kaiyah flipping through channels. The expression on her face is more bored than Plank from Ed, Edd, n Eddy. Though she has been home for weeks, she still has flashbacks to the days of being trapped in that wretched dungeon. She had already caught up on every show she missed. She considered therapy, but like Chase and the lunatic typing this, she refused because she ain't gonna see a therapist due to it being "the" and "rapist".
She needed something to do. Something that would help clear her mind and get those horrific memories out of her head. It was at that moment that she received a call from Maria.
Kaiyah: Hello?
Maria: Heeeeyyy! What's up?
Kaiyah: Not a thing. Just flipping through channels on the television. Nothing really good is on right now.
Maria: Bummer. Still having those recurring nightmares you were talking about?
Kaiyah: Unfortunately. It's hella stressful.
Maria: I bet it is.
A quick moment of silence passes before Maria presents an idea.
Maria: Oh! I know! You should come visit me and my best friend here in Vegas!
Kaiyah: You live in Vegas!?
Maria: Yep! You and Chase can sleep in our guest room. It's amazing if I do say so myself. Then we can hang out, get mani-pedis and stuff at the spa, have some drinks, hit a few casinos, see a couple shows, watch the chippendales...
Kaiyah: Maria!
Maria: What? Chase will probably be chased by show girls or something.
Kaiyah: Oh my God shut up.
Maria laughs as she notices the lack of seriousness in Kaiyah's last sentence.
Maria: Chip Chip Chippendales! Rescue Rangers!
Kaiyah lets out a giggle that she just could not hold in.
Kaiyah: I'm done. Are you drunk, Maria?
Maria: Not until you get here.
Kaiyah: Fiiiiine. I'll talk to Chase about it when he gets here. His flight's supposed to land at 6:20.
Maria: Cool. I'm gonna head out for a while. Call me after you talk to him.
Kaiyah: Alright.
Maria: Bye.
Kaiyah: Bye.
The phone call ends.
*Four Hours Later*
The front door gets unlocked and is opened by CJ Phoenix. He is shaking his head as he closes the door behind him and locks it. He walks to his room and greets Kaiyah with a hug and a kiss.
Phoenix: So my flight gets delayed 55 minutes because a bunch of people got into a brawl with their drunk asses.
Kaiyah: They were drunk...in the afternoon?
CJ nods. Kaiyah shakes her head and sighs.
Kaiyah: I can't even say I'm surprised anymore.
Phoenix: On the bright side, Trio's Title match this week.
Kaiyah: Whaaaat!? That's awesome!
Phoenix: I know, right!
Phoenix may sound excited, but he knows.....he knows that he is facing a challenge unlike any other. This isn't just a random match against some random shit talker. This is arguably a war against the sea itself. He knows that they live for the psychological advantages. They aren't just local bullies. They're a syndicate, a great one. They call themselves Beachkrew, who are currently a subdivision of the juggernaut known as Pantheon. They will stomp you into the dirt and then pies on you afterwards. And then they'll call you a fuccboi for ages. Every one of them has a bite to match their bark. Both of which are equally vicious. Jared Holmes, Johnny Rabid, and Wade Moor guard the WCF Trio's Titles with a vice grip. Each of them brings a strength to their team that overrides the weakness of one of their bretheren. Phoenix is well aware that it will take more than just himself to defeat them. Fortunately, he is not alone in this fight. However, he knows it will take a mighty effort to succeed.
Kaiyah: Actually, speaking of awesome, I was considering us taking a Vegas trip. I haven't been there in a while, plus you can meet one of my new friends. She's really cool.
Phoenix: Sounds good to me. Wanna leave tonight?
Kaiyah's eyes light up in excitement.
Kaiyah: Sure!
She gets up and packs clothes and stuff for the trip. Chase helps her load her luggage. They get into his car and drive to the airport. Kaiyah calls Maria.
Maria: Hello?
Kaiyah: Get your drinks ready!
Maria: You're coming to Vegas!?
Kaiyah: Yep! We're on our way to catch a flight as we speak!
Maria: That's great! We'll be waiting for you!
Kaiyah: You better!
They share a laugh and say their goodbyes before hanging up. However, when they hang up, the focus goes from Kaiyah to Maria. She is sitting next to Emma, and both of them have a glass of wine.
Maria: Oh yes. We shall indeed be waiting on you. Both of you.
The scene ends with a close up of the two wine glasses clanging against each other.
Scene 2: Agua En Fuego
Date: January 5th
Time: Unknown
Location: Inside the mind of CJ Phoenix, where both life and death are optional, and insanity is abundant.
We find ourselves getting a quick, panoramic view of what appears to be an updated version of Dexter's Laboratory. More futuristic technology and an updated super computer are the main things that catch the eye. CJ Phoenix is walking through the area dressed in a metallic lab coat. He stops when he reaches the super computer. He quickly types in a few things, leading to a slowly down-scrolling screen.
Data Analysis: WCF Trio's Title Match
Date: January 8th
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Participants are as follows:
Current Champions
Name: Jared Holmes
Alias: Six God/6ix God
Height: 6'2
Weight: 215
Most Dangerous Move: Dolphin Driver
Persona: Highly athletic, drug abusing, adrenaline rushing nymphomaniac
Suggested Approach: Technical wrestling. Jared is NOT highly adept technically. However, he is known to be able to improvise, using a variety of unpredictable moves. He is most comfortable when everyone is uncomfortable. Stay focused!
Name: Johnny Rabid
Alias: The Serpent/The Ripper/......The Lagomorph? Sure, why not!
Height: 6'2
Weight: 226
Most Dangerous Move: Kingdom Destroyer
Persona: EXTREMELY intelligent, sadistic, and all-around dangerous
Suggested Approach: West Coast Offense. Rabid's versatility makes him a threat in many aspects. The primary focus is less worrying about big moves and more about limiting mistakes. He has earned the name "Serpent" as he is quite deceitful, so you'll need to play equal, if not better, defense to force him to slip up. Out of the Trio's Champions, his style is the closest to yours.
Name: Wade Moor
Alias: Godnilla
Height: 6'3
Weight: 255
Most Dangerous Move: Broseidon Punch
Persona: Kraken. Not kidding. He's a human-Kraken hybrid!
Suggested Approach: Sniper. This fother mucker is big, nasty, and nimble! DO NOT let him catch you napping! That Broseidon Punch nearly has the speed of a Talon Kick with the force of a Bates Boot! Simply put, he hits harder, you hit faster. Precision is the key to overcoming this one.
Challengers
Name: Andre Holmes
Alias: Iron, Relentless
Height: 5'9
Weight: 201
Most Dangerous Move: Thrust Kick
Persona: A relentless force of nature who has proven himself to be a danger to his foes.
Suggested Approach: Andre is indeed a team player. He has proven so by being a Tag Champion. Due to your team player skills, you should be able to adapt to this naturally adept wrestler.
Name: Dion Necurat
Alias: Crimson Gladiator
Height: 6'5
Weight: 270
Most Dangerous Move: Bonds of Glory
Persona: Fucking Leonidas!
Suggested Approach: Use. His. POWER! Heaviest man in the match. Use that launchpad!
Analysis Complete.
The scene fades with the computer shutting off.
