Through the fire, and flames, Nathan has proven that he is a main event caliber athlete. Not only that but a World Title caliber competitor in the universe of WCF. Blast was the night that crowned a new World Champion, and the 2016 WCF Classic Tournament winner, Stuart Slane. Although Nathan came up short, the reaction he received blindsided him sideways. Very unexpected that the people he despised in that match would be the ones to show him respect much rather defend him on Twitter when the idiots tried to ridicule him about his world title loss. It's very funny. When he wins, no one says anything but when he loses, they all jump down his throat. One of them is Mikey eXtreme.
His opponent for the WCF Perfection Championship, his first defense of the newly created division. Before he won the belt, Mikey thought he would ridicule him but judging now, it only make sense a coward like him would attack a man who's chips are down. Nathan took the comments pretty hard, first time he lost the big one but he's doing his best to handle it. Especially Stuart, and Jeff are coming to his aid, and thanking him for his effort. Why the hell would two imperfect beings show gratitude to the man who beat Perfection? Very unorthodox, very weird. However, it felt nice. It felt great. Having a friendly company that wasn't fake or forced because they feared the job. It felt natural, and wanted.
After the match was announced on the WCF main webpage, Nathan went back to the drawing board. He knew his own mother would blast him on the blogs, the interviews saying how much she hates her son for not living up to his expectation. It hurt but as his physical training continues, he learned to ignore it. Nathan knew Mikey eXtreme wouldn't be a walk in the park, he created this division so his first title defense was crucial not to be an actual joke. Back at the Marriott Hotel in Newark, New Jersey, he already had met up with a co-worker from one of his old photoshoots for Vogue.
Nathan, and Josh, an old photographer who worked for him, were walking through the lounge with their specially ordered Starbucks coffee in their right hands. The Perfection Champion looked very nice. Tucked in black, and blue stripped dress shirt with his cuffs rolled up. A platinum Korrs watch, blue jeans, and black dress shoes with his hair brushed to the left. Both of them were catching up on their past. Talking about their adventures around the world, working for different fashion industries, and meeting very important people in the industry. Nathan was enjoying the conversation; It felt nice to take his mind off what was happening in WCF. After all, Tuesday morning in New Jersey wasn't always sunny so that was a pretty good sign. Leaving the lounge, they decided to go for a nice warm walk back to the local cafe.
Josh: Oh, by the way how did your World Title match go?
Nathan Chambers: Not as I thought it would. I lost, and Stuart Slane was crowned the new World Champion. He did well but next time, I won't make the same mistake again.
Josh: I take it they rubbed it in your face. You always said people loved to ride the bandwagon on ridiculing your wrongs, and not your rights.
Nathan Chambers: Actually this time was different. They showed respect, and even said I did well. More like sportsmanship. It was unexpected but...weird. Weird in a good way not like finding out the model you slept can't even pay her car note weird.
Josh: Oh. Hey. That's a good sign. You don't find many good guys in the world we live in.
Josh's phone started blowing up. Notifications about Nathan's mothers blogs causing a ruckus. He looked at his friend, and took a quick sip of the cup. Nathan caught wind of his awkward behavior, and quickly called him out.
Nathan Chambers: You alright?
Josh: Yeah. It's your mother. She's just going on about how you're a failure, how you ruined the family name, you're not going back to her home. Yada, yada, yada.
Nathan Chambers: I don't care about that anymore. She can say whatever she wants, it will not come true.
Josh: So you don't even care about that she wants Mikey eXtreme to beat you for the WCF Perfection Championship because you're not Perfect enough for it?
That's where Nathan drew the last straw. He stopped in his walk, and looked at Josh with blue eyes nearly becoming red. Josh shrugged, and didn't know how to respond to a mother supporting her own son's enemy. Instead, Nathan slowly chuckled, and then laughed. Others just kept walking faster, not wanting to be in this sideshow. The two sat down on a bench, and watched traffic at the intersection do what it does but this was a funny moment to Nathan.
Josh: Hmm, you're taking this quite well.
Nathan Chambers: Well, of course I am. It's not every day your own mother is going against you, and being on the side of a man she doesn't even know about. I'm not upset at her because she does this all the time but here are some things about Mikey that she has no idea as to why she should choose his side. First of all, Mikey was the original contender for the WCF Hardcore Title to face Andre Holmes at Thirteen but thanks to Seth Lerch who got drunk off alcohol, and power, that match was scrapped. Now he's going on Twitter bashing me because I did something he couldn't do-- no didn't have the intelligence to do. If you're the number one contender to a championship that was scrapped because the champion left, doesn't that mean you should be awarded the title?
Josh: Well. Contenders are offered Interim Belts in the UFC.
Nathan Chambers: So why didn't he received the Hardcore Title?
Josh: ....Probably forgot about it?
Nathan Chambers: Truth. Mikey eXtreme is a lazy, fat, no hygiene having man who is jealous of me. Ever since I stepped into the WCF, he's been begging for my attention because he knew well what my intentions are. He knew I was going to take the Hardcore Championship back into MY hands, and form into the Perfection Championship. Mikey is jealous because I did something he didn't have the common sense too, and that was demand Seth to invoke the Hardcore Title back into WCF. All he had to do was demand, conquer, and win. Now all of a sudden he has the balls to go on my Twitter, insult my Perfection Championship, the rules I made for the division, and now he's even on my butt when I lost the World Title?
Nathan was delivering strong points. Josh understood every word that came out of his mouth, it made perfect sense.
Nathan Chambers: Josh. I don't ask for something unless I know deep in myself I could earn it. Mikey didn't earn a shot at the Perfection title, he shouldn't even get a match. What type of contender says they're going get a title but can't even follow the rules? He should be THANKFUL that the Perfection division is taking him in. He's a three time United States Champion but was never a World Title contender let alone a 2016 WCF Finalist. I've done more than him in just a month than his one, and a half year career in the WCF. So yeah, I understand if his man hood is being questioned or if the WCF Booking team has overlooked but real talent shines over talent that is just not good enough to be main event.
Josh: Touche. I agree but what's funny is that this Mikey guy has a lot to say when he hasn't really put up much effort in the WCF either judging by what you're telling me.
Nathan Chambers: Josh. The WCF chose him because he's the midcard guy who isn't doing anything at the moment, and because he has his little friends trying to come at me when I'm ten times the wrestler they'll ever be. Mikey got the match because he was just the guy they wanted to fill as my first defense, and because he talked a little trash. I don't understand. When did Mikey eXtreme ever consider himself to be a Hardcore Champion when he was too busy trying to find an identity, and he even got his identity by winning the United States Championship three times? It's ME he wants! Not the title, me! He wants to shut me up, he wants to get me out of his head, and all the criticism that I am the better champion than he'll ever be in MY division!
Mikey eXtreme is a lying, hypocritical idiot who tries to convince people that he's all about the Hardcore Title. He's all about bringing the savage division I am eradicating for the safety of this sport, and for the better entertainment to come. You think he actually cares about the Hardcore Title? No. He wants another achievement added to the list so he could become Grandslam or Triple Crown. This just another title but to me, this is my life. Perfection has always been my life, and I refuse to give up to Mikey who treats it like a joke. He treated the United States title as his life but this, it's just another title. He's a liar, a ruthless, and cunning liar.
Josh couldn't help but to be convinced at that little speech about Mikey. It could be said about Teddy Blaze with his passion about the People's Title or John Gable with his passion about the Television Title. Hell, Mikey was the ultimate United States Champion or even Dag Riddik with the International Title. Zombie McMorrs with the Internet Title. Each man treated a championship like their own child but Nathan was the only man in WCF to birth the WCF Perfection Championship to life. Mikey was the only man who disrespected it, and now has the power to remove it before people fall on their knees to take it away. Nathan knew the risk, and would die flat on his face to secure the future of the grandest division in WCF history.
Josh: So what are you going to do to him?
Nathan Chambers: I'm going to expose him. Expose him as the cheap, pathetic man he's always been. I made these rules because if others are really focused on becoming WCF Perfection Champion, they need to go through that barbaric, and savage torture to stand tall with their chins held high. To become perfect, you have to go through hell of being imperfect. Mikey knew that all along, and he still wants to be imperfect because he can't BEAT me! Mikey is a low life savage who can't evolve, and adapt to the future ahead of him. His prime was passed when he was United States Champion but now he's stepping into uncharted territory, and I don't take too kindly too trespassers.
Mikey is in over his head, and I'm going to beat him down to a bloody pulp. Sure, he can say he's been in matches I haven't been in yet. Last Man Standing, Steel Cage, everything you can name, he's probably done it but he hasn't done a Perfection Rules match which is my domain. Does the odds seem unfair? To the contenders yes but to the champion, I went through it so it's only fair he has to go through it too. He's the coward for not even accepting the terms, he's complained about it. A true champion goes against the odds no matter what, and instead of demanding the match to happen, Mikey ran to Seth, and pleaded him to change. Come this Sunday, I'm going show Mikey how to be really extreme.
