I've done this a long time ago and I'm posting them now.
Here we go with another edition of Random Ramblings. In this RR I will review the much talked about Mankind vs. Undertaker Hell In A Cell match. After I tell the actual match, I will give my views on this match. So here we go.
The Match: Mankind comes out with a chair and goes to the top of the cell to start. Undertaker comes out and goes to the top as well. A few chair shots by Mick. They both walk across the cell as one of the cell tops break due to the combined weight of both men. This should tip off what happens later in the match. Stupid cell... Anyways, Mick tries to Suplex Taker, but Taker gets out of it and here comes the biggest spot in WWE history. Foley off the cage through the announcers table. After seeing that for the 50th time, I can see where Foley tries to grab onto the cell. Stupid... very stupid. People come out and try to help Mick. They get him to the entrance way when he gets back up to the top of the cell. They both exchange a couple of punches until Taker Chokeslams Foley through the cell. That was not planned, but seeing as how the cell was going to break when they walked across eariler and nearly broke, why do that anyways. Chair hits Foley on the way down. EMTs and all them come back out. Terry Funk gets Chokeslammed. Foley gets up and punched again. Goes down in a heap. Old School doesn't work as Foley pulls him down as we see the shot of the tooth in the nose. Taker gets pressed against the cell. Foley can barely walk. Here come the steel steps, but Foley can't pick them up. Taker does and hits Foley a few times as J.R. is going nuts. A couple of Uppercuts and right hands by Taker. Taker goes for a Suicide Dive, but Foley moves out of the way. Taker blades in front of the camera. Dumbass. "Taker tasting steel and it doesn't taste good!" Shut up J.R. Pulling Piledriver on the chair by Foley for a two count. Yawn... this is boring, as Foley punches Taker. Leg Drop on the chair by Foley for a two count. Double Arm DDT by Foley as he gets a bag from under the ring. He dumps out a bunch of thumbtacks. After an exchange of moves, Foley gets a Mandible Claw in now. Taker gets up as Foley is on his back. Taker dumps Foley on the tacks. Yay! More stupid comments from J.R. Chokeslam on the tacks now. As Foley no sells into a Tombstone to end the match.
My Thoughts: This match sucks pure and simple. I don't care how you cut it. Taker and Michaels at Badd Blood was better. The only thing this match will be remembered for is the bumps Foley took. I am a Foley fan and I do say that he should have never done this match. This probably cut two years out of him. Ok, maybe not. Anyways, there was little wrestling in this match. Maybe a total of ten moves. I read that Taker was suffering a ankle injury during this match and whatever in the hell Foley had wrong with him. I give this match *. This just sucks.

This is my attempt at reviewing matches until I am out of WWE or Ring of Honor matches to review. So enjoy. The match I will review now is Rob Van Dam vs Sabu at Hardcore Heaven 6/22/96
Rob Van Dam vs Sabu at Hardcore Heaven 6/22/96
The Action: The ring broke during this show. So at about 1:30 in the freakin morning, RVD and Sabu are gonna get this show done as they are the main event. RVD totally looks like Jean Claude Van Damme at this time. I swear. Sabu comes out and does his usual prematch ritual. Pointing to the sky. Sabu takes off his neck brace. Some guy is shown flipping off RVD. Crowd chants "Sabu!" RVD taunts to start. Sabu goes for RVD's knees right of the bat. Sabu stomps on them as RVD sells prety good. Maybe even over selling. Sabu keeps stomping on the knee. Sabu with a straight right hand. Snapmare as Sabu comes off the ropes and gets a Slingshot type of move on RVD. Sabu then goes to a Chinlock. Then a Sidehead Lock. RVD throws Sabu into the ropes. The ring breaks again. They keep going as the fans chant "F*ck the ring!" Sabu hits his Triple Jump Moonsault with a broken ring. How crazy is Sabu. RVD goes to the outside. Sabu drops RVD on the guard rail. He then hits a Sucidial Dive. More chair shots from Sabu. In the crowd naturally. RVD and Sabu are on some blechers. RVD puts a chair on Sabu's face, jumps off and hits a Leg Drop on the chair. RVD then throws a chair at Sabu's face. All the fans make this impossible for good crowd brawling as RVD hits Sabu with an Umbrella. RVD grabs a chair and hits a Somersault Dive with the chair onto Sabu. RVD covers for two. Sabu dropkicks RVD in the knee. Sabu hits the Air Sabu. Sabu is then forced to tape his hand as he has broken knuckles in this match. RVD throws a chair in Sabu's face again. RVD hits a Monkey Flip with a chair and Sabu hits one of the chair legs. RVD covers for only two. RVD locks in a Cross Armbar. RVD sells his knee still. RVD with a nice chair shot. Standing Moonsault for two by RVD. Sabu chants hit the place as Sabu dropkicks the knee again. Slingshot Bulldog by Sabu. Two count only. RVD counters a Back Suplex as they both go outside the ring. Sabu hits a Springboard Leg Drop as RVD is caught in the second rope. Two count only. Sabu gets another chair, only to have the chair kicked right into his face. RVD follows with a Somersault Plancha. Sabu gets whipped into the guard rail. Sabu jumps off a table for a Leg Lariat. Sabu then sets a table inbetween the ring and rail. RVD is on the table as Sabu wants to hit a Suicide Move. RVD gets up and goes to the crowd so Sabu jumps into the crowd from the ring. ECW chant by the crowd. Sabu puts RVD back on the table. Sabu goes back in the ring as SABU DDTS RVD THROUGH THE TABLE. ECW chant by the crowd. Wow, the ring ropes are broken and Sabu still does stuff like this. Its almost sick. Cover only gets a two count. Sabu goes for another Triple Jump Moonsault, but he lands in the ropes gingerly so RVD kicks him out of the ring. Brawling on the outside of the ring. RVD then hits a ribs first Suplex on a chair that was on a guard rail corner. Cover for two only. Sabu with a Flying DDT after a Fisherman's Buster attempt by RVD. Sabu goes back up top. RVD catches him with a Super Fisherman's Buster. Cover for two only. RVD plays the fans and gets booed. RVD goes for another Fisherman's Buster, but Sabu reverses into one of his own. Sabu gets a chair. He gets on the top rope and hits the Atomic Arabian Facebuster. Sabu covers. One! Two!! Three!!! at 20:33. What a match.
Analysis: This is the second best RVD vs Sabu match I have ever seen. Their Stretcher match was the best but, this is a good one. The way these two men kept on fighting after the ring broke was fantastic. Most guys would have quit, but Sabu never believes in taking time off according to RVD. The selling that RVD does in this match is fantastic. Sabu shows some psychology and keeps on going after the knee. RVD targets Sabu's head and neck through out the match as Sabu had a neck injury in this match. So not only was this a crazy as hell spot match, they also did technical wrestling. I like that. If this had happened a couple of years later when Rob Van Dam was in his prime and Sabu was so beat up, this would be a ***** match. But since RVD still wasn't as aerial sound as he is today, I'll give this match ***3/4.

Here we go with my third match review. This ought to be good. Low-Ki vs. American Dragon vs. Christopher Daniels in a Triple Threat Match at The Era of Honor Begins. This was the main event for the first ever Ring of Honor show.
All three men are introduced. The crowd claps to start. All three lock up. Dragon and Ki both kick at Daniels and then at each other. They take down Daniels again as they both lock up. Daniels hits a Double Dropkick on both men, Ki hits a Roundhouse Kick, and Daniels throws some punches. Crowd chants for Low Ki. Dragon and Ki lock up to have Daniels break it. Daniels hits a nice Back Suplex after fluid exchange. Daniels Suplexes Dragon onto the top rope and Dragon gets a Baseball Slide from Ki. Ki starts hitting his Krush Combo, until Dragon goes for the Cattle Mutialion until Daniels breaks that up. Daniels does some impressive offense that seems him Slamming Ki onto Dragon and a Boston Crab/Camel Clutch on both men at the same time. Great match so far. Dragon works the arm of Daniels. Ki goes fucking apeshit on Dragon kicking him in the head. Jesus Christ, that has to hurt. Snap Suplex by Daniels. Cover for two. After more moves by Daniels, he hits a Gutwrench Suplex on Dragon. Corino puts over Daniels on the mic. Knife Edge Chops exchanged by Daniels and Ki. Dragon does some chops to both men. Daniels goes for a Enziguri, but Dragon takes him down and puts him in a Muta Lock like move. Ki kicks the leg of Dragon, but Dragon still has the hold on Daniels as Ki starts to kick Dragon in the face. The fifth kick, Dragon catches Ki in a Northern Lights Suplex for a two count. Strikes by all three men. Dragon works Daniels' arm again, until Ki kicks him. Snapmare and a kick to the back that pisses Dragon off. Dragon does the same to Ki now. They both double team Daniels with kicks as the "This is not how you do it" starts up. I feel for Daniels. They just kick the crap out of him. They miss a kick and connect with each others shins. Sit Out Reverse DDT by Daniels. Then one to Dragon. Boston Crab locked in on Ki. Dragon breaks it up. Dragon and Ki get a DDT/Neckbreaker combo by Daniels. Three covers gets three two counts. Daniels goes to the top, only to have both Ki and Dragon catch him. They toss him and give him a Double Yazkua Kick. After a bit, Belly to Belly by Daniels on Ki. More double teaming by Ki and Dragon. It backfires when Ki hits a Tornado DDT on Dragon and then a Tidal Kick on Daniels. This match owns, have I said that? Dragon gets stuck at the top. Daniels goes up and locks in an Abdominal Stretch. Ki breaks that up and locks in the Hanging Dragon on Daniels. Insane move that is. Blue Thunder Driver a bit later by Daniels on Dragon. In a cool spot, Dragon has Ki in for a Superplex, but Daniels comes in and gets a Back Suplex in on Dragon. All three men are down. That really kicked my ass. Close up on Ki's face as the crowd chants "Holy Shit!" Snap DDT by Dragon on Daniels, then a Dragon Suplex, Ki breaks up the pin. Dragon Clutch is locked in by Low Ki on Dragon, but Daniels is there to break that ip. STO by Daniels, followed by the Best Moonsault Ever. Cover gets broken up by Dragon. Low Ki gets in a few more kicks on Daniels. Dragon gets Ki on the apron. Dragon then gets the Cattle Mutilation on Daniels. Ki is on the top rope and he hits a Phoenix Splash on American Dragon while the Cattle Mutilation is locked in. Ki Krusher on Daniels. Three count gets the win for Low Ki.
Analysis: Wow, this is a great match. For twenty minutes, three men stayed in the ring and never went to the floor. Daniels was the star of this match. He did some great stuff. He was the real winner in this one. Dragon put in a stellar preformance as did Low Ki. There are a few flaws in this match, such as the underselling of some of the moves. That brings it down a notch. But my god, this being the first ROH match I ever saw, I loved it. As for the rating, ****1/4. The underselling kills this match, and it could have been a bit longer.

I remember borrowing that RoH show from you.
I bet RVD vs Sabu owned that Triple Threat. Super Fisherman Buster? Come on.

Here is one of my own. I'm, reviewing Joe vs Ki, Joes Debut. First off, let me just say these two are brilliant workers. They made one hell of a brutal match without touching a weapon, which they were allowed this being a "Match without honor". Samoa Joe enters with Godzilla music. It fits. The match starts with Ki trying to hit a kick to Joe's chest. Joe answers with a kick to Ki's hamstring. The two exchange a few punches and kicks. Looks like your average UFC fight to begin with, but it's wrestling. They take it to the mat after a mean fujiwara armbar by Joe. Ki is one stiff mofo as he lays into Joe with mounted punches. Joe no-sells it seems and answers with some slaps. Joe reverses the mounted position, and lays into Ki with headbutts, but Ki answers with some himself. Jon nails some sick stiff forearms. Ki stops the forearms and locks in an armbar. Jor reverses it into a mean half crab. I've never seen anybody folded into a U like he did to Ki. To top that off, he's got an injured ankle from a title match with Xavier in Japan. Joe keeps it applied for a while, but Ki gets out of it an applies a facelock to prevent Joe from getting the distance he needs to hit him. Ki with some stiff heel kicks to Joe's kidney area. Joe back to the ankle with a side leglock. Ki decides it's smart to try to chop out of the leglock, Joe no sells and gets pissed. They get up and trade slaps until Joe takes over with some huge forearms and a few kicks to the torso of Ki. A missed Ole`! kick leads to a sick flurry of overhand chops and slaps to Joe's back. He finishes the combo up with a few kicks to Joe's leg and a HUGE roundhouse dropkick to Joe's face. He hits a Koppu kick, but barely gets a one count. This match is sick stiff. Joe is victim to a few double chops and a kick to his chest, which doesn't effect him. Joe with a spinning back kick, slap and a STIFF lariat for a one count. Joe can't believe it. Another one count after a few kicks and knees followed by a big suplex. Joe locks on a cross armbar, but Ki reverses it, but puts himself in a position for a crippler crossface. Ki gets out of it and Joe picks him up, nails some chops and whips him to the ropes. Ki reverses and goes for a lariat but misses and Joe hits a big enziguri. Joe goes for a Chimairaplex finish but Ki reverses it into a Six Seconds Magic armbar. Heh, Wrestling Games and UFC give you great names for moves . Ki hits a flurry of chops followed by an enzeguri that crumbles the big man after he lets up from the hold. 2 count. Ki hits more double chops and a few knees followed by a million dollar knee lift. Joe doesn't go down. Nice tiger suplex by Ki for two. They exchange more stiff shots until Ki hits another enziguri! He doesn't get two. Ki wears Joe down with some stiff chops, but Joe whips him to the corner and hits an ole` kick followed by a facewash. Both competitors' chests are bruised from the chops, kicks and slaps. Joe with a sick accordian powerbomb followed by an STF. Joe turns it into a Regal Stretch as Ki tries to get the ropes. Ki turns it into a cross armbreaker! Joe gets the ropes quickly. Ki works the arm of Jow with kicks, uppercuts and some elbows. Back to the chops and another Six Seconds Magic. Ki turns it into a triangle choke and after a while Joe powers out of it. Ki hits a sick back suplex after more stiff shots are traded. Ki locks on the Dragon Clutch. Joe powers out of it and hits a big death valley driver. He then hits an Island Driver for two. More stiff shots by Joe. He puts Ki in the corner, and hits some headbutts, and Ki sends him to the corner and hits some more chops and another roundhouse dropkick. He hits a snapmare and hits an afterburner kick to Joe's back, which pisses him off. Joe does the same after a slap. Off with the taping and shin guards! Nice stiff shot exchange, seeing them hit yakuza kicks on each other, Joe with a lariat and Ki with a running dropkick. Joe hits a huge lariat. Joe picks Ki up and hits some spinning chops, until Ki hits a right followed by a huge flurry of kawada kicks for the three count at about the17:15 mark. My personal thoughts on this match. Not a technical masterpiece, but the sheer brutality of this match without weapons makes it a classic in my eyes. ****3/4* match in my book.
