Marina Valdivia, one half of the Trinity tag team, spoke briefly about the following subjects:
Winning the match last week, but not the TV Championship: It's too bad that the championship wasn't able to be saved from the clutches of S-PAC. However, we still got a win over a couple of Trios finalists, so I know that counts for something. Stacy and I did a great job dealing with those two, and I know that tonight, win or lose against the Vapor Kings, we're going to give it our all once again!
The encounter with the Shadow Demons and Denise D'evil's jaw injury: I never wish injury upon anyone. But really, Stacy and I decided we had enough of those two dismissing us as a non-threat. Therefore, we did something about it, it's really cut and dry when you think about it. I'm sorry that her jaw was injured, but business is business and I have no regrets whatsoever about that incident.
Night Rider's subsequent mental instability since that encounter: It just goes to show you how much he needs her. It's quite pathetic, really. I would not be surprised whatsoever if he even attempted to get revenge on us tonight. Stacy and I are definitely watching our backs, just in case.
John Gable and the TV Championship: He is a coward! A piece of shit coward that got lucky last week. My diamonds and all the fans deserve to see what happens when you put me in the ring with him once more with the Television Championship on the line and make it ONE ON ONE too, no more hiding behind other opponents or tag team partners. I don't care if it's next week, next Pay-Per-View or next season, I know that next time I get a TV title shot, I'm taking that baby home to San Diego!
What sets her apart from the other women in WCF history: Well first off, I'm not someone that lives in loony land like most of them such as Denise and Chelsea do and how historically women like Sarah Twilight and Lilith have. You know what I mean right? Secondly, and this isn't me being arrogant at all, I was born to be a star. Unlike most of the Mary-Come-Latelies of the past year like Mary Mac, Violet, Valentina Madison, Serbia, Carrie Storm and so on and so forth, I'm here to stay as long as my body is willing. I have the X-factor and the intangibles that the women I named off never had. I represent what defines a true women's wrestler: class, dignity, pride, heart, and hey, being beautiful doesn't hurt either. As far as women's wrestling goes, I know in my heart that I have what it takes.
Who, exactly, is Allison Mayberry?: Allison is my best friend, by far. She and I first started working together in 2008 when I was trying to get to the next level in HCW and subsequently, THW. She was a major help in getting me there and I owe her a lot of my success. I honestly feel like 2014 has been my best year in wrestling yet so far, and that even at the age of 30, that my peak hasn't happened yet. You combine who I am now, wrestling the best I ever have, with Allison who is a creative, influential mind, and holy crap, you got a rollercoaster. I'm so glad she's back and that we're working together again.
Being in a tag team, yet trying to establish yourself in your own right: It can be hard at times. I love Stacy and she's been great and she realizes that both of us have our own individual qualities that stand out. I love the Trinity and with all due respect, I don't want people to know me as just another piece of another tag team. I want to prove that I'm more than that. I have that fire, hunger and passion to show the world why I was born to be a star and I'm sure that I'll be able to do so. I don't have the ego that I once did, so I don't see myself betraying Stacy. But at the end of the day, if you're not in this business to be the best, you have no business being in it.
The Vapor Kings and their mind games: Whatever happens in that ring, happens. Oh yeah, I'm in it to win it but they are a hell of a team in their own right. If they were to win tonight, you know what? Fine. It wouldn't sit well with me being the competitive fiery diamond that I am, but I can still look in the mirror tonight and say "Look, they may have taken the win from me, but they didn't take away my destiny to be a star in WCF". But losing is the furthest thing from my mind tonight.
Her upcoming new Internet show: Yes, I have secured a show for me on WCF.com. I am so looking forward to it when it gets here. As for what it's about? Stay tuned. It's going to be fun, I can promise everyone that.
Who is going to win the Trios tournament? Pantheon. They're the most cohesive unit in the finals. The other two are more makeshift style tag teams.
Are we going to have a new WCF World Champion tonight? Hell to the motherfucking no! For WCF's sake, I hope it doesn't happen. Sometimes I wish S-PAC would take a trip to the Amazon, disappear and never come back to be honest with you. I have faith in Steve Orbit to get the job done tonight.
