OOC: I had no idea how to translate this into a written format so I went for something simple as this is a bit of an experiment for me, the following is a highlight reel promo video hyping the return of Wednesday nights and showcasing the champion (If I survive that long). The > indicates a transition, I used my favorite bits from the matches I have had here and a little bit of a story montage from the Eric Price match. Also I tried to use the beat of the song to dictate the tempo and rhythm of how its meant to be read. I hope you enjoy.
Graphic: WEDNESDAY NIGHT'S HAVE A NEW INTERNET CHAMPION TO START THE SEASON
We open with Jordan's screaming but laughing reaction as he pulled off the Punkin mask after winning the IT title and a sound bite of Kyle Steele announcing him as the new internet champion can be heard over the top of his laughing
The highlight reel starts with Caliban sprinting to the ring for his debut match with Eli kid and Deuce Maximus, the video switches to the starting sequence with Eli taking the first shot with a strong roundhouse style kick toward the ribs of Deuce. He swings another, but Maximus blocks it, only for Caliban to connect with a sharp elbow to the face. Deuce stumbles backwards, and Jordan follows it up with a big jumping kick that takes him to the mat. Caliban lands and spins around, Eli catches him with a strong side kick that sends him stumbling into the ropes. Eli tries to follow it with a running cross body, but Caliban manages to use the Kid’s momentum to throw him over the top rope and down to the floor he then jumps up on the middle ropes triple H style and celebrates> we switch to Jordy on his back fighting up against deuce ending with him Kipping up into an angle cutter> we end with the imploding 630 shot on Deuce
Montage of Calibans promos with no sound and just him joking and messing around back stage> We switch to Jordan sitting on the top rope watching Eli kid and waiting for the bell to ring during their match for the number 1 contender-ship> we quickly switch to the handshake and then to the 2 men exchanging kicks and blocks in the ring before he finally lands a dropsault on kid sending him out of the ring to the floor only to be followed by a Mascara Dorada inspired version of the out going using the middle of the ring ropes as a ladder before springing out of the ring with a shooting star press, we get a quick montage of the worlds scariest pile driver and the cyclone DDT> We see Caliban's pissed frustration at the end of the match and we get an abridged recap of him tricking the ref and cracking Eli over the head with a chair before putting him in the two tone pass out to end the match
The music dims but can still be heard in the back ground and we switch to the interview of Jordan Caliban outing Eric Prices bet "YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT THAT WAS! THAT WAS ME DOING THE BIDDING OF THE MAN I'M ABOUT TO DESTROY FOR THE INTERNET TITLE. There you go Eric job fucking done you son of a bitch, you wanna know about the conversation that bastard came to me with 15 minutes before the match, hey Eric I'm about to tell everyone what you said to force me to take everything I believe in and shove it up Eli Kids ass! Eric price I have someone I would like you to meet, he will be along shortly, until then Eric Price" ,Caliban holds up his knuckles to the camera, on set of knuckles is the word ERIC written in marker and on the other hand is the word DONE, "SOMETHING UNENDABLE, UNTAINTABLE, UNIMAGINABLE... THIS... WAY... COMES!"
The highlights of the IT title match open with Jordy making his Punkin entrance, He stands at the top of the ramp crosses his feet and drops down into a cross legged sitting position soaking in the crowd and then reaches into his back pocket and pulls out a black and orange mask, he pulls it on> we start with Eric Price slapping Jordy across he face and Jordy quickly coming back with a DDT, we switch to the early frog splash and then OUTGOING! this time with a running single leap up onto the top rope and hitting the shooting star press to the outside> we see Price take over stomping on Jordy and playing to the crowd, we see him lock Caliban in the sharp shooter and Jordy getting the ropes> we switch now to the stand off with both men nailing each other in the face with punches, then the DDT and Finally the Caliboom> the song in the background ends and you can hear crowd chanting "your going home in a fucking ambulance" as Kyle Steele Announces him as the new Internet Champion.
