‘Baa Baa Black Sheep’
January 13, 2013-Slam
The scene opens inside the Pantheon locker room. Slam has yet to begin. There is thirty minutes till the airing. The mood in the locker room is not a happy one. Jay Price is sulking about his loss at the PPV to Torture, Corey Black and Jonny Fly are talking, mumbling really, to each other in the back. Jeff and Kari are sitting in the middle, Jeff leaning up against a locker. He is shaking his head, unable to believe he lost the week before at One. He had been going through a lot since his father passed away, and even though Jeff never knew him, and hated him, it still affected him. He couldn’t help but admit though, Eric Price had beating him. Kari was going over Jeff’s contract, mostly for the sake of the renewal under the Jonny Fly regime, and to add anything to it that needed adding with Jeff’s new board position.
And that’s when she noticed something. She read it close, then far, and then close again. She turned to Jeff, but instead got up and walked over to Jonny Fly. Jeff watched her get up, watching her walk. Even in his darkest hour, he liked to watch her walk. He smirked to himself and put his head up against a locker. What was he going to do? He was going to have to sit through a whole show with Eric Price rubbing it in his face that he lost the title. To Eric. Kari tapped Jonny on the shoulder.
Kari: Um, Jonny. I can see you out in the hall for a moment. I want to talk to you about something involving my client.
Jonny: What? Why are you being so..?
Kari showed him what she was talking about. Jonny looked up at Jeff, smirked, and nodded, holding the locker room door open for her. Once the door shut, Corey Black sat down next to Jeff, talking so only Jeff and Corey could hear.
Corey Black: Jay is going to be beating himself up about this for a while.
Jeff: Yeah…well…I know he really wanted it.
Corey: I know he did too. I think he might have thrown the match, sub-consciously. He is starting to become an alright guy, and that might bug him.
Jeff: Who, Jay? No way did he throw that match. He was so focused on beating Torture. Not only that, but he was so pissed that you supported him.
Corey: Outwardly. But I don’t know, there is a part of me that thinks he wanted Torture to be in the Hall. That he knew Torture deserved to be there. Just like Jay will one day. And just like you will one day.
Jeff: Thanks Corey…but…I don’t know. Last week was kind of a harsh blow for me. I lost to Eric Price of all people.
Corey: Better than losing to Adam Young. I was pinned by that jobber at War.
Jeff and Corey chuckle out a laugh. Jeff shakes his head.
Jeff: I don’t know man. I just…I finally meant something here.
Corey: Look, I am going to be blunt with you. Don’t be a little bitch about this, ok? That’s not how you make it here. You make it here by being the badass that you are. You make it here by being an asshole. You make it here by knowing you are the best and everyone else is just a Jobber. You know Eric Price is the kind of asshole who is going to make a big fucking deal about this. He already announced he is going to have a celebration. So what do you do, you fucking attach those big bouncy balls, you go out there, you tell Eric Price that it doesn’t matter what happened at One, he is still a fucking Jobber and in no amount of time that belt will be back around your waist.
Jeff: Yeah…yeah you are right. Fuck that piece of shit.
Just then Jonny and Kari re-enter the locker room, both of them looking quite pleased. Kari takes her seat next to Jeff, and Jonny stands in front of him. He smiles down at Jeff.
Jonny: Turns out your agent here has found a clause in your contract. A clause Seth Lerch, the idiot, signed off on. You are entitled a rematch for any title you might have. Whoever it was who worked out your contract when you first got here was a fucking genius really. So, you ready to go get your belt back.
Jeff jumps up from his seat.
Jeff: YEAH!
Jonny: Well, first we have to go break the news to the current champion that he has your property, and you are going to be getting it back soon enough. Come on, he has the first segment, let’s go tell him the good news.
Jeff nods. He turns back and fist bumps Corey, and follows Jonny out. The hallways are full of people getting ready for the show. Production assistants, camera men, announcers, supervisors, producers, directors, stage hands, engineers, and all the regular hub bub. Jeff walks briskly just behind Jonny. In this moment, Jeff gained a certain respect for Fly. True, Jeff had always appreciated the held that the man had given him, and the fact that Fly and Polar wanted Jeff in their group. This, however, was a side of Jonny that Jeff had never seen before.
He had known Fly to act like the best. To act like the number one guy. He had known Fly to do anything for the World Title, not so much for the accolades, but for the proof that he was the best there was. He had thought that for sure, when he lost the title, Jonny Fly would go after it. But it wasn’t even a question, Jeff thought. It was Jonny about to go out in the public, defend Jeff as a champion, and give him another chance to be the Champ. It was uncharacteristically selfless of him to be doing this for Jeff. Jeff couldn’t help but respect that. In that moment he was happy to be a part of Pantheon, again. Jonny Fly was about to give him another title shot, and Corey Black took it upon himself to give Jeff advice, even when he didn’t. Jay Price as well, who had talked to Jeff the night before on the phone about the results of One.
Standing in front of that curtain, listening to what Eric Price was saying, however, was very, very annoying. He was out there parading around like he had just become the most famous man in America. It could have been just that it was Eric Price, and that Jeff really hated Eric Price, that got him so angry. It could have been that Eric was rubbing it in his face that he lost at One, but right there and then; standing at those curtains, Jeff Purse decided he would do more than take Eric Prices title. Right there and then he decided to ruin Eric Price as a wrestler. It was then that Jeff had the idea to take away Eric’s merchandise revenue, to sue for the rights to the name Eric Price, and to fine him if he went to any media outlets. He wasn’t sure if he could even do that, but he would make sure it was done. But before he could tell Jonny about his plan, the music hit, and they were on their way out to confront Eric Price.
-=-=-
Jonny Fly and Jeff Purse stepped back through the curtain to Jeff’s music blaring on the overhead, and the fans in an absolute frenzy. Jeff was high on adrenaline and admiration. Jonny Fly was walking briskly; clearly he didn’t want to talk to anyone about his announcement. He did turn back to Jeff, though, laughing.
Jonny: Wow, those were some big announcements. Can you even do all of that?
Jeff: I don’t know, hah. Maybe tomorrow you should make sure I can?
Jonny: Yeah. That is a good point though, we own Eric Price. It’s funny, really. That bastard is about to lose everything. Jeff, I might say, you are a diabolical genius.
Jeff: Hah. Well, you know, I try. I am going to humiliate him tonight, and then I am going to take everything he loves away from him; money. I mean, it’s the best way to his heart.
Jonny: The way to my heart is through my penis.
Jeff: That was an extremely odd thing to say just now…
Jonny: Yeah…what are you going to do?
They had reached the locker room at this point. Jonny had held the door open for Jeff, saying ‘after you, champ.’ Jeff did a little mock bow and entered. See, it’s important to point out that Pantheon didn’t try to coddle Jeff; they tried to help him see what he could actually accomplish. These guys were more than friends, they were brothers. It was something that Jeff had longed for since childhood. Not only a brother, but someone he could look up to and get advice from. After all, his father was never there for him.
Upon entering the locker room, Jay Price and Corey Black were standing there, ready to congratulate Jeff. Before any of that could happen, though, Kari ran up and hugged Jeff. She was crying. Again, you have to understand exactly the position these two people were in. They were not having the best of time with their relationship; everything seemed to be going wrong for them. They were fighting a lot, and they weren’t even living together at this time. However, at this moment, this perfect moment, none of that mattered. She had felt a wave of emotion sweep her. They were whole again. Jeff gave her a tight squeeze and kissed her forehead, before whispering thank you in her ear.
Jay Price came up and put Jeff in a headlock and gave him a noogie. As would have been expected by anyone of them of Jay Price. Jeff pushed him off and the clasped hands. In this moment, Jay Price had just lost a fight he had spent weeks preparing for. He had just lost to his mentor, Torture. But it wasn’t about Jay Price right now. And he knew that. And Jeff was proud to see how far Jay had come in terms of the team unit. Finally, at this night, they were all on the same page. They were all operating on the same level.
Corey Black walked up, looked Jeff up and down, and without saying much, he smirked. Jeff understood it though. Jeff had taken Corey’s advice. He went out there and told Eric what a jobber he was. He went out there a basically said, ‘that belt will be back around my waist’ and then some.
Corey Black: Get dressed Jeff. It’s time for some last minute Dethfort training…uh…Slam style.
Jeff Purse: Wait…you mean like…when Polar and I were…
Corey Black: Don’t be a pussy. You need to train right now. Go get your things, meet me in the gym. We are going to make sure you get that title back tonight.
Jeff Purse: I mean, shouldn’t I get prepar-
Corey Black: I said don’t be a pussy.
Jeff Purse: ok. I will meet you in the gym in twenty minutes.
The rest of them laughing tonight was going to be a very good night for Pantheon. They all had a good feeling about it.

‘Have you any Wool?’
Later that same night.
Jeff: Kari, where is my lucky socks?
Kari: I don’t know…I might have left them in the truck.
Jeff: Damn. Ok, I am going to go get them.
Kari: Jeff, just…forget them for…you know what never mind, I know you can’t forget them. Hurry up.
Jeff and Kari were in the locker room getting ready for his rematch against Eric Price. His usual pre-match ritual underway, he knew he couldn’t perform well without his lucky socks. With his OCD, it was important everything was the way it should be. He snatched up the keys to his pitch black Lincoln Navigator and headed out to the parking garage.
In the hall he passed random superstars wishing him luck on his match. He also ran into a few fans that were lucky enough to be backstage. He took some pictures and signed a few autographs, happy to do so, and continued his journey to the parking garage. He was whistling, even, while he walked. He couldn’t have been happier about how the night was turning out. He knew, or at least he really believed, that he would walk out of that arena the WCF World Champion. He had a gut feeling that something very big was going to happen that night, and he was sure that’s what it was about.
Opening the doors to the parking garage, he realized he had no idea where he was parked. But of course, we all know what happens. While he is looking around for his car, the feeling he had that something big was going to happen was realized…in the form of a car.
Jeff Purse is seen walking to his car at the toward the end of the show. He is smiling, thinking about what he is going to do to Eric Price later in the night. Two headlights on a car near Jeff light up. He realizes he can't find his Navigator. He pulls out his key chain. The car with the headlights pulls out of its parking spot slowly behind Jeff, angling its nose at him, backing up a bit. Jeff is pressing the start button on his key fab, trying to find it. Tires squeal as the car behind Jeff comes charging at him. He turns at the last second as the car strikes him. He goes rolling over the top and lands behind the car, lying back down, spread out.
Zach Davis: OH MY GOD! JEFF PURSE JUST GOT STRUCK BY A CAR!
Shannan Lerch: WE NEED PARAMEDICS!!
Jeff was rushed to the hospital that night. Kari stayed with him the whole time. There was no world title shot, there was no signing of papers, and there was just the fear that Jeff was going to die. That’s at least all that was on the mind of Kari Kendall. She held his hand in the hospital the whole ride to the hospital, and was forced to sit in the waiting room as Jeff was rushed to the Emergency room.
It was torture sitting there by herself. She didn’t know what was going on. She didn’t know if Jeff was ok, the only thing she could do was update people via Twitter. She had a few tweets from a few people, including but not limited to Sarah Twilight, Synn, Eric Price, and Freya Kane. Some of them were kind, some of them were harsh, and some of them offered protection. Kari decided to take Sarah Twilight up on her offers of making sure nobody got near Jeff when he was in this fragile state.
Pantheon arrived after Slam. Kari had to inform them what was going on. She couldn’t do it though, so instead, she just nodded or shook her head at their questions. The night was a giant blur for her, she had been through a lot, and now her world was falling apart. The day had started off so perfect, and it came down to this. It was horrible. And there, in the waiting room, Kari fell asleep, praying for something better.

January 24th, 2013.
Jeff had returned from his second neck surgery since getting hit. He was still unconscious. However, his condition had stabilized enough for him to make it through the surgery. It was an essential surgery, without it there was a strong chance Jeff might have died. Kari was talking with the lead doctor on Jeff’s case, Dr. Frank Horvat.
Dr. Horvat: Well, his condition is still weak. We were hoping this surgery would help him come back, but, I don’t know what is going to work. Know we are trying everything to make sure Jeff heals from this.
Kari: Is he…going to be…Is he going to be paralyzed?
Dr. Horvat: I don’t think so. I mean, it’s possible, but the surgery’s we performed don’t indicate paralysis. But sometimes those things are mental, Kari. No matter what, if and when Jeff wakes up, we have to be supportive of his choices, and we have to be able to accept the fact that his brain may not allow him to walk again.
Kari: No. That’s not the kind of person Jeff is…he is a fighter. He is strong. He is…
As they are talking, Sarah Twilight walks into Jeff’s room. Kari doesn’t notice, she is too immersed in talking with the doctor. Sarah shuts the door as she enters, and at that exact moment, Jeff’s eyes begin to flutter open. Unaware of what has happened, naturally, he is confused. His eyes grow wide. All he see’s is hospital equipment and Sarah Twilight.
Jeff: Where…what…where the hell am I?
Sarah jumps, her back was turned to him as she was shutting the door. She turns.
Sarah: Jeff! You’re awake!
Jeff: What? Why is that a big…what…I…I can’t…move.
His breathing was very labored. It hurt just to talk. But he was confused, and fought through it. He wanted to know what was going on.
Sarah: You were hit, Jeff, by a car.
Jeff: What?....when?
Sarah: About ten days ago. You have been unconscious ever since. Nobody was sure if you would wake up. And now you have. This is great!
Jeff: What…what happened?
Sarah: You were going to have a rematch against Eric Price. Fly had set it up. And you were in the parking garage…and a black BMW ran you down. Jeff, you almost died.
Jeff: What? Eric…Eric…did this?
Sarah: Nobody knows who did it.
Jeff: Eric. It was…Eric.
Sarah: Jeff-
Just then the door opened, Kari and the doctor walked in. Upon seeing Jeff’s eyes open, Kari began crying. Sarah walked over to put her arm around Kari. Dr. Frank Horvat smiled at Jeff.
Dr. Horvat: Jeff, welcome back. How are you feeling?
Jeff: What is…wrong…with me?
Dr. Horvat: Well Jeff, you were hit by a car. You suffered multiple neck injuries. A few broken ribs and a broken arm. Lucky for you, nothing was damaged to the point where we couldn’t fix it. You were admitted on the fourteenth of January, and you have been unconscious since. This is the first sign of breath we have seen from you. It’s reassuring.
Jeff: Can I walk?
Dr. Horvat: Well, Jeff…that is up to you. Nothing is too damaged to where you won’t be able to walk again. However, I want to wait a couple months before we start Physical Therapy. We want to make sur-
Jeff: No, I want to start now.
Dr. Horvat: Jeff, it wouldn’t be smart to get you up…
Jeff: I want to start now.
Dr. Horvat. Jeff, you can’t start now. Your body has been inactive for ten days. You have to let the blood flow before you can even THINK about walking.
Jeff: How soon can I start? I want to start as soon as possible.
Dr. Horvat: I can…get you in next week.
Jeff: Do it.
Sarah: Jeff, I know this is hard…but…maybe you should consider waiting. I mean, I understand that you want to get your hands on Eric but…wouldn’t it be better if you were healed more?
Jeff: No. Now. As soon as possible.
Dr. Horvat: Ok…I will get started on the paperwork I suppose.
Jeff: Good…good.

February 3rd, 2013. Physical Therapy.
Jeff is seen trying to walk on a treadmill. The speed is set at 1, and he couldn’t keep up, He kept falling. They put him on a platform, so he could hold on to handles and walk across the makeshift sidewalk. Again, it was something he could not do. He was ready to give up. He was getting it in his mind that he wouldn’t walk anymore. And that’s when the red head walked in.
Sarah Twilight had been stopping by at least 2 or 3 times a week to visit Jeff. Jeff talked about her so much, that when she was around, Kari had to disappear. She couldn’t let Jeff know that she was a bit jealous in this time, when he needed the support to help him get better. It was the highlight of his day. She was his connection to the outside world, after all. So when she walked in, Jeff perked up a bit.
Jeff: Hey Sarah!
Sarah: Hi Jeff, what’s going?
Physical Therapist Jenny: He just…he can’t do it. I am going to get some water, do you mind watching him till I get back.
Jeff: I am not a child.
Sarah: (after a smile at Jeff) Sure Jenny. Take your time.
She walked away and Jeff fell back into his wheelchair. He couldn’t stand Jenny. She was bossy, overbearing, and she treated Jeff like he was 7. It was demeaning, and it didn’t make him want to walk for her. At all. However, Sarah turned on him as soon as he fell back into his chair, a stern look on her face.
Sarah: What are you doing?
Jeff: What do you mean? I am taking a break. She gets one, I get one.
Sarah: No Jeff, you are wussing out. You are failing.
Jeff: That’s a little harsh, don’t you think?
Sarah: No, I think it’s the truth. I come here and all I see is you falling back in your wheelchair and relying on other people to get you around. When you told the doctor you wanted to start Physical Therapy right away, there was a passion and fire in your eyes. Now there is nothing.
Jeff: Hey, this is hard-
Sarah: Don’t give me the this is hard bullshit. You know what Eric Price is doing right now? Gloating. He is gloating to anyone he can that he beat you for the title, and he made sure you would never hold it again. Is that what you want, Jeff, to let Eric Price get the best of you, The Future, Jeff Purse?
Jeff; No, but I…I just-
Sarah: Don’t give me excuses. You need to get your ass up, and you need to walk. Or else you are just another face in the crowd who couldn’t hack it. You are just going to be the bitch who everyone forgets. And that’s not you Jeff. You are meant to do something great. You are amazing, and you are going to let this defeat you?
Jeff: No…NO! You’re right! I can do this!
Sarah: Prove it. Walk. Now.
Jeff, struggling a bit, struggles to get up out of his wheelchair by himself. Using the bars along the platform as support. He fell a bit, but picked himself up and focused. In his mind, he saw Eric Price. Eric Price holding the title over his head. Eric Price driving the car that ran him down. Eric Price kissing Kari. Eric Price pinning him at One. Eric Price smiling in Jeff’s face. He couldn’t stand it. He let out a loud, determined scream, and began moving along the platform. Before he knew it he was at the other side…and even walked a little bit without the bars. Not long though, he fell onto Sarah for support at that moment. She helped support him, but was also hugging him when he realized what was going on.
Sarah: Jeff! You did it! You walked!
Jeff: I did…I DID! Thank you Sarah! Thank you!
He embraced her and she embraced him. And then, a small, peck kiss on the lips. He turned red as did she.
Sarah: Sorry, I…was excited.
Jeff: Don’t worry, it’s ok. It was a friend kiss.
Sarah: Yeah…friends kiss. I’m so proud of you.
Jeff stood there, beaming, using Sarah as support. He knew he was going to do this. He knew that he was going to get better.

‘Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full. One for the master…’
Phone conversations with Jonny Fly between 4/28/2013 and 6/9/2013
Jonny Fly: Jeff, look, it’s great to have you back. But you can’t attack people like that anymore. I won’t have it.
Jeff: What are you talking about Jonny? You knew I was going to do that.
Jonny: No, I didn’t. I knew that you were upset, and you said you were going to do something. I assumed you were going to go out to the ring and talk about it. Not filly his house with cement and attack him after an already brutal match.
Jeff: What? Jonny…why do you care man? I did what I had to do. It’s been 5 months of pent up frus-
Jonny: Look, I have looked for evidence, Jeff. I have found none. I think you are jumping the gun on the whole “Eric Price ran me down” thing.
Jeff:…what? You think I am jumping the gun? Are you kidding me?
Jonny: No. I am not. Don’t do it again Jeff. I am serious. I got to go. Good bye.
-=-=-
Jonny: So it’s you, me, and Corey in the Trio’s tournament. Can you handle matches that don’t involve Sarah Twilight or Eric Price?
Jeff: What kind of question is that, of course I can?
Jonny: Good, I just wanted to make sure. And Jeff, word of warning, I fucked her, Sarah isn’t that good.
Jeff: You never fucked Sarah.
Jonny: In my mind I did, and she is very selfish. Stay away from her. That’s an order.
Jeff: Since when did you start giving me orders?
Jonny: Since you started acting like you are acting and needed me to give you orders. I never led you wrong before Jeff, and I won’t lead you wrong. Do what I say or else I have to take action as the owner of the company. I got to go, goodbye.
-=-=-
Jeff: So I am thinking that we can-
Jonny: Jeff what the fuck is wrong with you? I fucking told you to leave Sarah Twilight alone and now this? You guys are making out in a club all fucking night? Are you fucking stupid?
Jeff: What? Jonny I told you, that footage isn’t real.
Jonny: Oh shut up Jeff. That footage isn’t real. You are full of shit. You better fucking bring it against Genesis. Because your ass is on the line if we lose.
-=-=-=-
Jeff: Jonny what the fuck man, you sold the fucking company to Eric Price. You are fucking nuts man.
Jonny: Fuck you Jeff Purse. You are a fucking little bitch and that’s all you will ever be. I told you to get me proof, and you couldn’t. I told you to get me some evidence that Eric ran you down, and you COULDN’T. I told you not to fuck around with Sarah Twilight, and what happened there Jeff? You dug your own grave here. I hope Eric Price fires your ass.
Jeff: Fuck you Jonny. I looked up to you. I thought we were friends.
Jonny: Please Jeff. Don’t make me laugh with your fucking jobbercry. I am done with you. Come slam, I am going to fucking destroy you.

‘One for the dame…’
Phone conversations with Kari Kendall between 4/28/2013 and 6/9/2013
Kari: Jeff, what is going on between you and Sarah?
Jeff: Kari, what are you talking about? Nothing. Don’t worry about it; be more concerned with getting me in the ring with Eric. Jonny won’t listen to me.
Kari: Well Jeff, I tried, but he isn’t listening to me either. He thinks you will do something crazy.
Jeff: Well he is damn right I will. I want to string that son of a bitch’s neck.
Kari: Jeff, maybe you should just focus on the Trios. I know Jonny and Corey are counting on you.
Jeff: Fuck Kari, we are going to be fine in the Trios. We have that shit in the bag, there is no doubt. Get me a match with Eric, please. I made you my manager for a reason, this is your job.
Kari: You are an asshole you know that?
Jeff: Look, Kari. I don’t ask you for much. I ask you to wash your hands once an hour. I ask that you keep the living room clean. I ask that you don’t sneeze in the kitchen, or in the house for that matter. I ask that you double bag the garbage. I ask that you keep at least two of any decoration of anything you put up. I ask that you-
Kari: That is a lot, Jeff. Normal people ask for their fiancée to love them and that’s it.
Jeff: Oh so what, now that I have OCD I am not normal?
Kari: NO! You have never been normal! You are insane!
Jeff: You know what Kari; I can’t talk to you right now. Just get me the match, ok?
Kari: Whatever.
-=-=-=-
Kari: I am going to destroy that red headed slut, Jeff.
Jeff: Kari. Look, I understand why you are upset, but you need to relax, ok? You can’t fight her.
Kari: Why not, huh? You afraid I am going to hurt your new girlfriend?
Jeff: No, and Kari, nothing is going on between Sarah and I. We are just friends.
Kari: Bullshit Jeff. BULLSHIT! BULL FUCKING SHIT!
Jeff: Settle down, please.
Kari: Don’t fucking tell me to settle down. I have been getting trained for this. Freya showed me some things, and so did Eric, and I-
Jeff: Whoa, whoa. Eric? As in Eric Price, Eric?
Kari: Yes Jeff. Eric Price. He has been very supportive through your crazy period.
Jeff: You are working with Eric?
Kari: Yes.
Jeff: You know what Kari, do this match. See what I care.
-=-=-=-
Kari: Sorry, couldn’t make it to the phone. Leave a message…*BEEP*
Jeff: Kari…I’m…I don’t know what to say. I wish you would call me back. I don’t want to talk to your voicemail. Please, call me back.
-=-=-=-
Kari: Sorry, couldn’t make it to the phone. Leave a message…*BEEP*
Jeff: Kari, please call me back. I need to talk to you. There are things we need to discuss. Please.
-=-=-=-
Kari: Sorry, couldn’t make it to the phone. Leave a message…*BEEP*
Jeff: Ok, I suppose I will have to talk to your voicemail. I didn’t want to, but you gave me no choice. You gave me no choice with a lot of things. I needed someone, Kari, and you were there, but you weren’t there. Not like Sarah was. She would tell me how you would leave and roll your eyes whenever you would leave my room. She told me about the calls how you said you weren’t sure if you could do this anymore, and how you felt guilty because I was in the hospital. And then when I return the only person who supports what I am doing is Sarah. Not you, not Jonny, not Corey, not Jay. Nobody. They all think I am some big asshole. Just Sarah. And thank god Brad Kane has my back. I am going to get him into Pantheon. A little because he is a legend, a little because fuck Jonny Fly.
But that’s not why I want to talk to you Kari. I want to talk to you about us. I know that things have been rough. I love you Kari, I really do…but I am thinking it’s time for us to take a break. Things were getting too intense. And…I know you probably already know but I need you to know from me. I kissed Sarah Twilight that night after you left the arena. I was upset, I was concerned, you didn’t want me around, and I kissed her. I know, I know, it was a bad move…but I felt something Kari. And it’s not fair to you or me to continue on with what we have without me being able to at least see what my feelings are telling me.
I still want you to be my manager. And if you want to continue, I will give you a raise, because this is all very unfair to you. But I just need you to understand where I am coming from on this. I am sorry Kari. Really…I am.

‘And one for the little boy who lives down the lane.’
Phone conversations with Steve Orbit between 4/28/2013 and 6/9/2013
Steve: Jeff, dog, listen man. You don’t see it dude, because you be to close.
Jeff: Steve, look, I don’t understand why you are doing this. I don’t understand why you think it’s your business to care about me or who I am seeing.
Steve: Listen man, I aint tryin’ to be a busy body. I am warning you homie, for your own good.
Jeff: Sorry Steve. I know Sarah Twilight. And she is changed. She isn’t capable of that.
Steve: She is playin’ you man. Why the hell can’t you see that?
Jeff: I don’t believe that Steve. I am sorry.
Steve: Whatever Nigga, I don’t even know why I tried.
-=-=-=-
Jeff: Steve, listen man, sorry for the confrontation. I just, don’t appreciate you being up in my business like you are.
Steve: It’s not jus yo business anymore homie. That hoe brought me in when she tried fucking with me. You think I want to side with Eric Price on this dog? I don’t, but you two be trippin.
Jeff: What are you talking about? Sarah isn’t doing anything to you. Sarah has only tried to be your friend. She doesn’t understand where all this hostility is coming from. And frankly neither do I. I have never had any issues with you Steve. But I am starting to.
Steve: Well I suppose we will have to take that up in the ring homie. I am done looking out for you. I tried dog. Don’t come running to me with this blows up in yo face.
Jeff: Whatever Steve. Have a nice life. Leave me the fuck alone.

Phone conversation with Steve Orbit, 6/24/2013
Jeff: Look Steve…
Steve: Don’t even worry about it homie. You my dog. We chill.
Jeff: I know, but still. I am sorry. I should have listened to you.
Steve: Make it up to me by kicking her bitch ass.
Jeff: I will…I will.

‘Baa baa Black Sheep, have you any wool?”
In Jeff’s barn, training with Polar Phantasm. 6/29/2013
Jeff and Polar had been training for their matches ever since the card was announced. It was nice to have his friend back. If there was one thing Jeff could count on, it was his friend Polar Phantasm being there for him. He was Polar’s best man at his wedding, and Polar would be Jeff’s as well. There was a bond between these men that would be hard to break…and Jeff couldn’t have been happier to have Polar back.
Currently, they were in the WCF regulation size ring Jeff has set up in his barn. They were both training for their matches at Blast. Jeff was training to go up against Sarah Twilight, and Polar was training to go up against Lilith. Both of them going after gold at Blast. Jeff going for the WCF Championship, and Polar for the Television Title. Both were respectable gold, both had a soft spot in Jeff’s mind. Right now, Polar was helping Jeff survive a Twilight Zone.
He would pick Jeff up and deliver it to him, on to a lot of padding; they didn’t want to knock each other out. Polar administered the move over and over to Jeff, who tried to find a way to reverse it. Polar had discussed with Jeff the moment he got hit with the move, Jeff was done. Jeff had to agree, he had been the recipient of a Twilight Zone before, and he knew what it did to someone. Needless to say, Jeff couldn’t get it done.
There was a lot on Jeff’s mind: The title match against Sarah, the situation with Kari, Eric Price owning WCF now, Sarah Twilight fooling him and the entire WCF Universe. It was too much for him to handle. So finally, after about 10 Twilight Zones, Jeff just laid on the padding. Defeated. He knew there was no way he was going to be able to reverse the move. He knew that if Sarah hit it, it would be over. He knew he was going to have to be focused…and that is what his problem was. He couldn’t focus. Polar sat down with him, seeing that his friend was a bit distressed.
Polar: You know man, when I left, it was tough. I wish I could have been there for you when everything went down.
Jeff: That’s alright man. It’s not your fault. Thanks for helping me with this.
Polar: Dude, it’s the least of what I could do. I should have been there backing you from the beginning. I should have been here to warn you about that red head bitch.
Jeff: I don’t know man…so many people tried to warn me. Fly, Orbit, Kari. All of them told me she was up to no good, and I didn’t listen. I like to think I would have listened to you, but chances are I wouldn’t have.
Polar: You know what I think?
Jeff: What?
Polar: I think every man ever has falling for the games of some broad. I think you have nothing to be ashamed about. There was no way you could have known man.
Jeff: Yeah…yeah you are right about it. You know what gets to me though?
Polar: What?
Jeff: It blows my mind, man, how Sarah talks about the hypocrisy of the fans. The biggest hypocrite in the whole WCF is Sarah Twilight. She is the biggest sheep in the entire federation. Whether it was her master plan, or Eric Price’s master plan to do this, in the end she is going to end up getting played by Eric Price. She thinks that she is so bad, and so evil, but she doesn’t even realize she is teaming with the devil himself.
Polar: You aren’t taking pity on her, are you?
Jeff: I hate her, Polar. There is no doubt in my mind about that. She is a worthless piece of garbage that played me for a fool. She is the only woman I have ‘dated’ who I want to lay hands on, and not in a sweet, tender way. But I can’t help but feel sorry for her.
Polar: Why? She is a dumb bitch. She doesn’t have feelings. Why should you feel sorry for her?
Jeff: Because man, that’s just it. She is just a dumb bitch. She sees the now; she doesn’t look at the big picture. And furthermore, she is fighting for herself. And that is it. And she is being played by Eric Price, and she thinks she is some big, smart person. Really, he is going to make her look like an idiot. And it’s sad. But the saddest thing is she has nothing.
I have you. I have the whole team now. I have my mother. I have the fans. I have a lot to fight for. Including myself. I have everything in the world in terms of love and acceptance. Sarah doesn’t. And she doesn’t want it. She thinks that the way to get by in life is to do for you. You know that makes a person weak, mentally, being alone all the time. And while she has a whole group of people…she is alone.
Nobody would trust her after what they say here do. Nobody could. Nobody could love her because she has no heart. She has nothing good about her to love. She is just a cruel, worthless human being. It’s sad, really. I take pity on how sad she really is, man. And while I am going to destroy her on Sunday, I can’t help but feel sorry for her.
Polar: I don’t know dude. I mean, I know what you are saying, but she doesn’t seem to care that all she has is herself.
Jeff: As a human being, she will never accomplish anything. Who cares how many title runs you have if you have nobody to share that with? Who cares what you do in life if there is nobody there to see you do it? I don’t know, I don’t think I could do this without the support I have. And I am grateful for everything I have. You know, it’s nobler to fight for the masses then for yourself. And not only is it more noble, but the support you get from everyone makes you stronger. She doesn’t stand a chance at Blast.
Polar: She does if she hits the Twilight Zone. Come one, Jeff, let’s keep at this. You need to learn how to reverse it.
Jeff: Yeah…alright man. And thanks again Polar.
Polar smiles at Jeff as he stands up to continue putting the ‘hurt’ on Jeff, and help him find a way out of the devastating Twilight Zone.

‘Yes sir, Yes sir, Three bags full.’
June 30, 2013. Tokyo Dome.
Jeff sits outside his hotel in a private garden spot. He had just been on a terrible game show, and all he wanted to do was relax. So he rented out the garden at his hotel so he could be in there alone, but the WCF Camera crews are diligent, and they found Jeff sitting alone, thinking. Upon approaching him, Jeff smiled. He knew what they wanted, and he was willing to talk about it.
Jeff: Let me guess, you guys want me to talk about Twilight, huh? Everyone wants me to talk about Twilight. Everyone wants to see me admit that I was played. Everyone wants to see me say that I was wrong. Everyone wants to see me say that I never saw it coming. Well, all of those things are true. I am not going to sit here and say that I saw it coming, that I was ready for it, and that it didn’t hurt me. Because honestly, it did. It hurt me bad. I called things off with Kari for Sarah. I thought maybe she might be the girl for me.
But you all have to really understand something. Because of all the things Sarah Twilight is, she is smart. She knows how to play this game. She knows how to get what she wants. She did everything perfect. She was able to not only convince me that she was a different person, but she had to convince everyone. And everyone, to a point, fell for her façade. But you have to understand where I was coming from.
Twilight was the first person I saw when I came out of my coma. She was the first person who helped motivate me walk. She was the only superstar to visit me as often as she did. She would tell me that her and Kari would have conversations, and she would twist what Kari would say to make it seem like Kari was getting tired of having to be at the hospital, and that Kari was thinking of breaking it off. I was in a very, very vulnerable position and Sarah, like the smart girl that she is, took advantage of that.
Well, good for you Sarah. Mission accomplished. You managed to beat down and break Jeff Purse. And why? So you could be top dog. I really, really hope it was worth it Sarah. I really, really hope you got the gratification you needed out of what you did. I really hope it made you tingle in that fucking cavern you call a vagina. I really fucking hope you are proud of yourself…because even you deserve that before what I am going to do to you at Blast.
See Sarah, like I was explaining to my friend, Polar, I am not the only one who is mad about this. I am not the only one who was betrayed by you. First of all, there was FPV. Franky. He trusted you. He trusted you to a fault. He brought you into his group. He gave you the leadership of his group. He let you do whatever the fuck you pleased. He believed what you said about Steve Orbit. And you betrayed him. He has yet to get his chance at you, but now he and I are on the same page, and I will be fighting for him in this match at Blast.
Steve Orbit. The only one to really see your trickery. You fucked with him too, Sarah. You made Steve Orbit look like a fucking asshole, because how dare he speak the truth about the golden Sarah Twilight. He is one of the coolest guys I have ever met, and you made me dislike him so much because of the shit he said to you and what you would tell me about him. You tried so hard to turn all of his friends on him. He has anger toward you that hasn’t had a chance to come out yet, and I will be fighting for him at the match at Blast.
Jonny Fly. For whatever happened between the two of us toward the end of his employment, Jonny Fly was my friend despite it. He was a mentor to me in this business. And Jonny Fly never let anyone get the best of him. And if they happened to, he would humiliate them in return, so he could gain the upper hand. Because of you, he is no longer in this company, and I am sure a part of him resents you for it. I will be fighting for him in that match.
My ex fiancée, and hopefully soon to be fiancée, Kari Kendall. She was innocent in all of this. All she ever wanted was the best for me, and you used her against me. You made it seem like she was nothing but a bitch. And I believed you. You knocked her the fuck out ON PURPOSE. What kind of human being would do that? A terrible, terrible one. She wasn’t able to fight you like she should have…but I can. I will be fighting for her in this match.
The WCF Locker room. Everyone who put their faith in you. Ana Valentine, Roy Speede, Kira, The Ninja, every single person who ever said “Congratulations Sarah.” Every single person who backed you against Eric Price. Doc Henry, Corey Black, Jay Price, every single one of them that you turned your back on. Not just me, but everyone. They all have a voice, and they all should be heard, and at Blast, I will be that voice, and I will be fighting for them as well.
The fans of the WCF. The people who literally make us who we are. You played them all for suckers, and then you call them sheep, and idiots to add insult to injury. Little kids looked up to you, Sarah. Single women looked to you as a role model, someone they could relate to and someone who could understand them. They put their faith in you and you shit all over it. You had no regard for the faith of millions of people. I am fighting for them in this match at Blast, Sarah.
And of course, the biggest person I am fighting for, myself. I was a fool to believe what you were saying Sarah. I was a fool to believe that you could be anything but a wolf in sheep’s clothing. I was a fool to think that you were anything more than a selfish bitch who would do anything to get what she wanted. And to be honest, Twilight, I am glad this happened. Because without this, I wouldn’t have been able to beat the fucking shit out of you at Blast. If I had a shot at you otherwise, I might have wimped out on it. And for that reason and many more, Sarah, there is no such thing as backing out to me. There is no such thing but to walk into that arena and make you fucking suffer for all the pain and suffering I have had to go through for the past 6 months now. It ends at Blast Twilight, and I will be the one who comes out on top.
Just then, for no reason really, Jay Price appears riding a camel. He is eating some popcorn, drinking a little bit.
Jay Price: Jeff, yo, there is a Cryogenix party in my room. LET’S GO!
Camel: HUMP DAYYYYY!
Jeff: Did that Camel just say Hump Day?
Jay Price: Yeah, I bought that talking camel from the commercial. Isn’t it awesome?
Jeff: Jay, it’s not Wednesday.
Jay: Psh, please Purse, you know with me every day is hump day! Happy Humptober!
Jeff: Jay…it’s not October…
Jay: FUCK YOU I’M GETTING LAID!
Camel: YEAH!!!
And with that they disappear. Jeff watches them go off before turning back to the camera.
Jeff: Anyway, Sarah, as I was saying. I am going to fucking end you at Blast. And I wish there is something I could do about it, but there isn’t. Because all I care about right now is destroying you. I could care less about the World Title. Though, it is a plus that I will take that belt that you hold so fucking dear to your heart away from you. Maybe then you will feel pain like I have. Maybe.
But I am sure you can’t feel too much pain. So I have to do the next best thing. I have to beat you at Blast. Because that to you will be humiliating. And if there is one thing Sarah Twilight hates, it’s to be shown up by someone who she thinks doesn’t deserve to win a match. And I know you don’t think I deserve this. And I don’t give a FUCK what you think. Because not only do I deserve this, but I am going to GET this. I am going to beat you, I am going to because you pain.
So Twilight, you can say what you want. You can do whatever the fuck you want. Because after tomorrow, you will be no more of a threat then a tiny picker bush that you accidently step on when you are walking barefoot outside. You are nothing more to me than a fucking black sheep. And that’s what you will be treated like. So Bye Bye Black Sheep, and welcome to The Future.
Jeff gets up and heads in the direction of Jay Price. Why not party a bit before Blast? The scene fades out.
Yes Sir, Yes Sir, Three bags full.
One for the Master, One for the dame,
And one for the little boy who lives down the lane.
Baa, Baa, Black Sheep, Have you any wool?
Yes Sir, Yes Sir, Three Bags Fully.

-=-=-=-
Phone conversation with Steve Orbit, 6/24/2013
