The streets were filled with nightlife as Da Funk drove his purple sports car to an undisclosed location. Whenever he could he would stop to wink or flirt with any women that seemed to catch his eye. In the passenger seat was Frank Venable, annoyed by Da Funks antics. finally he spoke to him.
FPV: Tell me again where you're dragging me too Funk, cause I have important stuff I need to attend to.
Da Funk: No probelmo dawg, we just headed to the church.
FPV scoffed at Da Funk, and looked at him with a "What-the-fuck-are-you-talking-about" look.
FPV: Wait, you're dragging me to CHURCH?!
Da Funk: Yep.
FPV: For real?
Da Funk: Mmm-hmm.
FPV: ...
Da FunK: ....
FPV: Please tell me your high as fuck right now, cause I don't believe what you're telling me.
Da Funk let out a laugh at FPVs expense, momenarily losing concentration on the road, before regaining control and calming down.
Da Funk: Don't worry bro, it's not what you think. trust me.
FPV: Okay, but I'm still skeptical.
Da Funk: All in good time my friend...
They continued driving down the road, until Da Funk stoped at a brick building with neon lights, and a velvet rope line to the entrance, one end for most people, and another end for V.I.Ps. FPV just looked at it in awe.
FPV: THIS...IS CHURCH?!
Da Funk: You'll see what I mean.
Both of the men got out of the ar, Da funk leading FPV through the V.I.P section. The security guard at the door let Da Funk in without question, but held his hand out to FPV>
Guard: Hold up there, buddy.
Da Funk: (intervening) Don't worry bruh, he wit' me.
Guard: (grumble) Fine, you can go.
FPV nodded at the guard and went through the door. Inside the club was a dance floor in the middle of the room, a bar on the left-hand corner, a few tables near the walls, and a single door all the way in the corner, a neon light above it said "The Church", and had it's on guard. The club was packed full of people, with bouncers everywhere on patrol.
FPV: I'm assuming you didn't bring me here to dance the night away.
Da Funk: Just shut up and follow me, okay?
Da Funk dragged FPV to the door in the corner. Unlike most of the other guards who worked at the club, this one actually knew who Da Funk was, when he got there, the guard and him hit knuckles in a bro fist.
Guard: How you doing beezy?
Da FunK: I'm just kickin' it strong like Donkey Kong, know what I'm saying?
Guard: I gotcha'. Who's the cat you dragging in right there.
Da Funk looked back at FPV, who seemed a bit nervous in front of the guard.
Da Funk: That's my bro Frank, I want him to meet Donny.
Guard: Well allright, I'll let y'all in.
The guard opened the door and let the two men through. In side the church was just Donny, as Joey and Zach had the night off. Donny was excited to see Da Funk, and got out of his chair to greet him.
Donny: Funk, my boy, how goes it, eh?
Da Funk: All good brother, you seen this cat on TV, haven't ya?
Donny: Yeah, Mr. FPV, ain't he? He's a good guy. Is...is there any reason you brought him here?
Da Funk: I just thought you could give him some words of wisdom for his match tommorrow.
Donny: Well, I don't usually do this, but for you, I will. Both of you, have a seat.
The three of them both took seats in the lawn chairs in the middle of the room. Donny offered Franky a blunt that was in the tray in the middle of the table.
FPV: No thank you.
Donny: Eh, suit yourself. So, how are you doing today?
FPV: Fine, I guess.
Donny: Anything unusual happen to ya?
FPV: No, not really.
Donny: Good, good good good. So, let's get right down to business, shall we?
FPV: Yeah, let's.
Donny: So, who are you fighting Monday?
FPV: Some japanese guy named Shadow and this guy in a mask named the Black Angel.
Donny: Anything unordinary about this match?
FPV: Yeah, my partner is in another match, so I'm teaming with my boss, Creeping Death.
Donny: Would you consider this man a friend of yours?
FPV: Um...no, I guess not. All he really does for me is sign my paychecks.
Donny: I see. Do you think you'll work well tommorrow.
FPV: Yeah, because we both hate the Arch Angels, but other then that, we probably won't do anything else together.
Donny storked his chin with his fingers, as Da Funk looked back and forth between the both of them, a fresh blunt between his lips.
Donny: This is my advice to you. You make is sound as if the Arch Angels are easy, but I've seen some of the things they can do. Do NOT let your guard down. If you do, prepare to face the consequences. As for Drepping Death, the same thing goes for him. You never know what this man will do, so kepp an eye on him. The rest is up to you, my friend.
FPV: Don't worry, I'll be sure the both of them get exactly what's coming to them.
Donny: That's all I needed to hear brother. You may leave now, me and Da Funk have some history to catch up on.
FPV: (getting up) Um, okay, thanks for the advice, I'll just wait at the bar for you then Funk.
Da Funk: Nah, you better leave, I have a feeling i'mma be here a while, (laughs).
He tossed the keys to the sports car to FPV, who caught them. After a nod by the two, FPV left the room, leaving both Da Funk and Donny alone.
