- Wednesday. Morning.. around eh.. Around 10:30 AM.
- A six foot, five inch african-american, who just turned 18 years old will be graduating High School this Friday. Torture is sitting next to him on a school bench. For a small background story on this situation, Torture has known this kid for a few years. Actually, when Stephen started High School, Torture was just becoming his own as a Wrestler.
Stephen: So here it is. The end of my four incredible years as a High School student and athlete.
Torture: All those records huh?
Stephen: Four Track Records, Six High School Basketball Records, including most points for a player and assists for a player in the same season.
Torture: Wow.
Stephen: Two Football records, with the most Interceptions in a season for a Freshman. And only one record in Baseball with 35 homeruns in a season consisting of 20 games.
Torture: And you're depressed?
Stephen: Hell yeah! All of this.. and I can't even go to college. A black man like myself from the streets of Los Angeles, man it's hard out here for us guys.
Torture: I know. I'm from the same streets.
Stephen: Then you're with me on this one. I've got all these records, and what-not, and I can't even make it to college because of money!
Torture: But Stephen.. we're not in the same boat though..
Stephen: Oh we're not?
Torture: No. Not at all.
Stephen: What do you mean?
Torture: Man. You're in the record books, Stephen. Something that someone will someday read, and will always remember. Written down Records. Trophies. Countless praises from coaches and teachers alike. Do I have that? Hell no, Stephen. I'm not even in the World Championship Federation History Book! Not even as a "Noteable" Wrestler! See me whining? See me crying? Hell no. I go out there and keep my undefeated streak alive, never getting pinned, and never submitting. I work hard, with a great work ethic and do my thing. I put wrestlers on their back, Stephen. I do. Know why? These streets of Los Angeles taught me. That's why. We're brothers and we've got our backs.
- Stephen just sits there and ponders about what was said.
Torture: I think that wraps up our 'Torture Teaches Black Youth' what do you think?
- Stephen laughs.
Stephen: Man, I don't care what anyone says, You're the coolest brother out here. Fo' real.
Torture: You know how I roll, Haha.
- Both men stand up. They pound and hug, and Stephen begins to walk away. Torture reaches into his back pocket and pulls something out. We can't see it though. He calls for Stephen to come back over to him. He does. Torture folds it up and slips it in his jacket pocket.
Torture: You stay up bro.
- Torture walks off in the distance, away from the school playground bench. He slips his CoolWear Inc Sun Glasses on over his brown eyes and walks off in the sun. Stephen pulls the folded up piece of paper out of his jacket pocket. He unfolds it. It's a blank check made out to Stephen Jackson, signed by Torture. It's Endorsed for "College Education". Stephen folds it back up and slides it in his pocket. He just smiles as the camera fades out.
Stephen: Always got each others backs.
