The scene opens with the sound of wind blowing past the camera's audio speakers. The camera view starts to come in rather slowly the sight of a baseball field with freshly cut grass and the infield dirt perfectly raked. The sight of thousands of baseball fans varying between the fat and stubby to the tall and skinny. The fans standing up on the their seats from the bottom cheap seats to the expensive dugout seats. The smell of baseball just fills the air with seeds being spit, tobacco being chewed and the freshly cooked smell of hotdogs. The camera turns left and zooms in slowly all in one slow movement. The sight is now clearer showing a red sea of uniforms fill the seats. The zooming continues as the sight of foam tomahawks sitting in the fans laps and on the floor of the stands. The camera seems to continue to zoom in on to one person sitting in the crowd. This one man is wearing a Atlanta Braves jersey with blue jeans and a pair of running shoes. A man that usually wears nice tuxedos and nice ties seems like a different person with the wardrobe change. The man is just sitting there in his seat surrounded by people but they seem to not know who he is. The man gets up and heads back towards the tunnel to go behind the stadium. The camera follows the man to the back where the concessions are located.
The sight of D-Day walking past different hot dog and ham burger stands come in rather quick. The very casually dressed Donald walks past a couple of kids that stop in their tracks and turn around in ahh after seeing D-Day. They run to catch up with him, the kids finally meet up with him after they are out of shock. The two boys begin to speak to Donald Deruty.
Boy #1: Umm hello sir?
Donald Deruty: Yes...
Boy #1: Are you D-Day from the WCF?...or are you one of those loser look a likes?
Donald Deruty: No it is me, but please keep it lo profile I don't want anybody knowing that I am here ok? Now what can I get for you two?
Boy #2: Well Mr. Deruty could you sign this baseball, I am sorry for not having anything else you know that people usually aren't seen at baseball games with pieces of paper for autographs.
Donald Deruty: Its ok, a baseball will be fine.
Donald Deruty picks up the baseball and signs his name on the baseball in cursive rather sloppy like all of the rest of autographs from celebrities of professional athletes. He hands the ball back over to the little boys.
Donald Deruty: There you go...is there anything else I can get for you?
Boy #2: No sir, thank you for signing my baseball.
Donald Deruty; No problem kid, anything for a fellow WCF fan, now remember you didn't see me if anyone asks who signed your ball say it was just a look a like ok?
Boy #1 & #2: Yes sir!
The two boys walk off into the sea of the crowd back by the stands to watch the game. Donald turns around and continues to walk through the stadium. He walks past fat and skinny fans ordering different burgers and hot dogs. Donald sticks his hands into his pants and puts on his black Oakley sun glasses. He walks past the fans seeming to be invisible as some of them are too worried about the game, or being crusty crabs worrying about not dropping their $5 beers. Doanld reaches the final gate and walks out and into the street. He walks across the roads stopping when necessary. He reaches the parking lot for the baseball stadium. He walks through out the rows passing, trucks, vans, and many different kinds of vehicles. He stops right when he is behind his blue 2010 mustang. He walks over to the drivers side walks into the car and the camera just stands there are the sun creates a glare on the car and the metal camera. The blue mustang starts up, sits for a while before backing up in reverse and shifting into drive to exit the parking lot. The camera sight is the blue mustang at a red light right by the parking lot, the light turns green as the blue mustang speeds past the light and into the distance of the sun; leaving the street lights, buildings, and other cars in the dust. The camera view fades out before fading back in.
The camera fades back in only this time it is in the passenger side of the blue mustang that just left the Turner field parking lot. Donald Deruty sitting in the drivers side of the mustang reaches for the radio as he turns on the radio. The radio turns on, but only a slight of sound comes from it. Right after Donald turned on the radio his hand made a quick transition form the radio power to the volume. He turns the knob to the right maximizing the volume from the radio, as the music gets louder and louder. The song “I Made It” by Kevin Roudolf is the song on the radio, in which it has just reached the first chorus of the song. All of a sudden after about thirty seconds of listening to the chorus the song seems to fade away with another sound coming in. That sound is Donald Deruty's thoughts as he drives down the road to his next destination.
Donald Deruty: This song, is a symbol of much that has happened to me in the past year and a half. Many people told me when I first started that I would never amount to anything in the business of the WCF. They told me to keep on dreaming, that my day in the spotlight would never come. I was told repeatedly that I was a worthless piece of trash. When I first started in the business of the WCF it never was about making it big, going to the top of the food chain labeled WCF. It was only a mission to find a better me, a better Donald Deruty. That simple goal has set me on a whole different level of what I want and wish to achieve here in the WCF.
Oblivion you are my only opponent this week with me and my partner Jay Williams. You know what, you are high in caliber here in the WCF much like Williams and myself, but the only reason why you are not going to win is that you are alone. You have no one to watch your back. Just think of it as a mario video game we are the mario with the mushroom and you are the baby mario. Oblivion you have no chance, but surprisingly I respect you. You are going to stand your ground and fight and I like that about you. I hope you the best of luck tonight but the odds are not close, and they are not in your favor tonight.
Williams I will be facing you at Blast for the biggest honor to receive here in the WCF...the World Championship. Now we must put everything about that behind us because we have other championships on the line tonight. Williams I have no problem with being your partner this week and I have no problem holding the WCF Tag Team Championship belts with you, but at Blast it is all in the back of my mind. My main goal at Blast is to leave the ring with that WCF World Championship around my waist. I will see you...Oblivion, and Jay...tonight in the ring!
The camera scene fades out of D-Day's face and starts to fade with only the sound of the engine of the blue mustang only being heard.
